Sierra approached 18-Volt and I and told me

Sierra: "there's someone on the phone",

I knew she was referring to the one in the site office.

Karla: "Who is it?"

Sierra: "Um, it was a little boy, he tells me his name is 9-Volt or something? It sounded very similar to the name of the guy sitting next to you"

Karla: "Oh... What are we doing to do with Todd?"

Sierra: "I'll take him".

It was hard for 18-Volt to give up Todd but at the same time, he was aware that Sierra had put 9-Volt on hold and so he had to get moving.

Sierra: "I'll take him",

18-Volt then slowly and carefully transferred Todd into her arms.

18-Volt: "We'll hang out again soon kiddo!"

yelled 18-Volt as Sierra walked off with Todd.

I then escorted 18-Volt to the site office which was a small portable trailer room on wheels.

Karla: "I'll just be out here. I don't to be stickybeaking into your business",

then shutting him in there and finding a nearby ledge to sit on. Meanwhile, on the phone,

9-Volt: "Hey 18-Volt! I called your house first but I got your dad and he gave me this number".

After some more exchanges of superfluous conversation, 9-Volt mentioned,

9-Volt: "Kat called and she's invited us over for dinner at her and her sister's house tonight".

18-Volt accepted and suggested to 9-Volt that I come along as well.

9-Volt: "I'm just not sure how we're gonna get there though. My mom can't take us because she doesn't have a car"

18-Volt: "Well, these guys have been taking a lot of the WarioWare crew around over the last few days. Maybe we can order a couple of teddy taxis, they don't cost anything"

He then said that he would put me on the line because knew nothing about arranging. 18-Volt had put the phone down as he went up to one of the side windows, slid it open, and yelled,

18-Volt: "Hey Karla! Can you come to the phone?!".

Into the trailer I went and I got on the phone to 9-Volt.

Karla: "Hey, how's it going?"

9-Volt: "Alright"

Karla: "And your mum?"

9-Volt: "She's okay, but she's really missing her car".

I reassured him that the teddies would have some transport arrangements for 5-Volt either tomorrow or the day after. 9-Volt then asked me about these so called teddy taxis that 18-Volt was talking about earlier.

Karla: "Oh yes, those things, they're buggies. Your mum came home in one before".

Further down the conversation, I said to 9-Volt,

Karla: "We'll take two buggies, I'll drive one and I'll get a teddy to drive the other one... Because they are only two seaters".

A couple of hours later and it was time to pick up 9-Volt and then go to see Kat and Ana at their home, Diamond Dojo.

Karla: "I don't know who's taking us though, better go find Selvian and ask".

18-Volt followed behind me and I was surprised that he finally knew who Selvian was, remembering what he looked like compared to the rest of the teddies. I hear 18-Volt yell

18-Volt: "Over there!",

as he points over my head and towards the weather shelter.

Karla: "What have you been doing lately?",

I asked Selvian.

Selvian: "Ah, we've just finished our investigation tasks for the day"

Karla: "Any luck, any news?".

Selvian nodded his head and this surprised me.

Selvian: "After scaling a few buildings, Sir attacked us Cricket told me he saw our briefcase through a glass window, locked in a glass safe on the highest floor of the building!".

My eyes widened and 18-Volt's teeth started to chatter slightly.

Karla: "Do you know what the name of the building was?",

Selvian nodded again.

Selvian: "Oh yah, Young Cricket works there sometimes and I believe 18-Volt does too".

I then put my hands over my mouth,

Karla: "I can't believe it...".

Selvian looked confused;

Selvian: "you can't believe what?".

I walked up closer to Selvian as my point to express was big and could potentially shed a light on the entire situation.

Karla: "Last night, I had a nightmare and it was Wario saying to me, I've gotcha gold and now I've got you too, but when I told 18-Volt after waking from a fright, he said that Wario wouldn't do such a thing... So? If the case is in the WarioWare Inc building... And I had a dream about Wario stealing gold and then coming for me, that means...".

Selvian: "Oh my gosh... What the?!"

Karla:  "It was bloomin' Wario!".

18-Volt could do nothing but stand there, looking embarrassed, especially due to the fact that he didn't believe the recount I had given him in the middle of the night. He then spoke,

18-Volt: "Eh, I'm sorry. I dunno how many times I've told that guy that stealing is wrong".

Selvian and I looked closely at each other and as I raised my eyebrows, I prompted him,

Karla: "Time to make an arrest?".

I then realised,

Karla: "Oh dear... I've got dinner with these Volt boys at Kat and Ana's tonight".

Selvia: "You don't have to come with us, we'll send the whole gang of teddies down, except for Joseph, still in a bad condition, and then Sierra who will be accompanying you. You just go and enjoy yourself".

18-Volt nodded and he asked 

18-Volt: "Hey Karla, why don't we go and find Sarah now?".

Selvian: "Uh, sir? It's Sierra".

18-Volt: "Geez, you guys are such a smart bunch, like you ace every single thing!".

I wasn't sure whether to take that as a compliment or a complaint, so I asked him why.

18-Volt: "'cause you're always correcting me".

He then continued,

18-Volt: "Like, I think I've passed fourth grade just by being with you guys!".

My face turned into a look of uncertainty.

Karla: "Uh, 18-Volt, just to correct you again, sorry... You do notice that we only properly spoke right after the day you finished fourth grade. So technically, you're not in fourth grade and we don't know whether you passed or failed, that is up to your school to decide and I believe they'd be notifying you, or rather your parents, via the mail sooner or later".

18-Volt had this frozen look of amazement on his face and he then unfroze and said to both me and Selvian,

18-Volt: "I knew it, you guys are smart! See I wouldn't have even guessed that"

Karla (thinking): "Then how on Earth would he have received the failure notification in kindergarten? By Harry Potter mail, an owl magically perching right on his bedside? I doubt it...".

18-Volt must have heard me as he asked me,

18-Volt: "Uh, who's Harry Potter?".

I looked at him again, eyes wide and my mouth wide too, I actually felt like I wanted to go in and strangle him.

Karla: "What?!"

18-Volt: "Haha, just kidding! Everybody knows the wizard. I'm sure even the youngest teddy bear would know that guy".

I was relieved but I also took in the fact that 18-Volt was highly amused by my exaggerated reaction, so he would possibly attempt more jokes like that on me in the future.
