200 years ago, there was a young and promising knight by the name of Pierre. Descendant of Gilles le Breton, Pierre distinguished himself early on, quickly rising through the ranks and overcoming every obstacle before reaching the rank of Grail Knight in his mid twenties. Every obstacle he faced he overcame, and all said that he had been blessed with fortune by the Lady of the Lake. Indeed, it seemed that Pierre was on his way to inheriting not only Bastonne, but also becoming King when the King of this time eventually passed away. Alas, his fortune would not hold forever. During a fierce battle with the Greenskins, a group of peasant bowmen took down a most odoriferous giant. Unfortunately the giant's posterior landed directly on Sir Pierre, crushing the pride and joy of Bastonne in one loud thunk. The Bowmen responsible for this crime were flogged, and Sir Pierre's remains were recovered. A group of pious followers took them up and turned them into a reliquae. Now, Sir Pierre the Fortunate is carried into the battle by those who will not let his legend die and who love Bastonne as much as Sir Pierre did.
