The Legend of Madeline les Bois, Servant of the Lady:

Teaching Fish Mongers Their Place.

((by Robert Clause a youtube comenter))

Madeline found herself at the battle of Marienberg, the abode of up-jumped merchants who had forgotten their place. Even more than the Empire, she held these self important fish mongers in contempt. Peasants were at their happiest when their betters told them what they could and couldn't do. In time they would bring the contentment, stability, protection, and the joy of servitude that all Bretonnians peasants knew to the fish mongers of Marienberg. As the battle began, she noticed a large number of Marienberg greatswords amassing together. She took the opportunity to cast the Dwellers Below on them, and watched with barely contained delight as they were punished for their impudence. She shouted out at the top of her lungs, "learn your place you insolent fish mongers", even letting out a laugh. Unfortunately she discovered that her lord's men were by her and they had worried looks on their faces. Madeline quickly composed herself. "Pay no mind, children of Bretonnia, I just take great pride in my work." They took her word, and went on to do their duty. This was the highlight of Bretonnia, every peasant knew their place and obeyed their better's. And in doing so found a sense of peace and contentment unknown to more stiffed necked and proud commoners. The battle would continue on for a while, apparently the people of Marienberg reproduced like fish, with their women laying thousands of eggs and the men fertilizing them. That was the best explanation Madeline could come up with as to why there were so many of them.Their leader, being the unchivalrous and gaudily dressed man that he was, even struck her. Fortunately, Duke Bohemond came to her aid. The man may be helpless when it came to balancing the books, but there was no doubt that he had earned the rank of Grail Knight. He was a fierce and noble warrior and he made the chief fight monger pay for his crime of striking a damsel of the lady. The day was eventually won, but their losses were great. They would need to return to Bastonne and rebuild, but they would return, and Marienberg would be brought under the guidance of Bretonnia.
