Here you are my lovely readers!

Chapter Fourteen: Checking Off The Enemy List

Point of View: Third Person

Ares snorts and sits down in his throne. "That could take a while."

Percy rolls his eyes and produces pencil and paper. He mutters as he begins to write. "Oceanus, Atlas, the Giants since I didn't seal them off forever with their mother, Tartarus seems likely because I technically killed his wife, but that would also mean Ouranos, not to mention her brothers and sisters, so Nyx, Erebus, Chronos the Primordial, Pontus, Hydros, Aether, possibly Hemera, maybe a few older immortals..."

The names he says and writes chills the bones of the gods. "Do you really believe that any of them would come after us."

Percy looks up from his notepad, pencil stilling. "I take into account any possibility. Now I will tell you why I don't believe many of them will rise." He ripostes. Percy clears his throat. "Right, so, I don't think Oceanus even has the gall to attack without his little brother. Be that as it may, even though he is older than Kronos, he's not as bloodthirsty or tenacious. He may want the sea, but he's not foolish enough to die almost instantly when he attacks with weak forces due to Kronos never rising again.

As for Atlas, no one really comes near him except for his daughters, the Hesperides. They wouldn't start a war even though they don't particularly like many of you. Unless someone went to him and took the sky from him, he's not a real problem until he gets released by whoever wants to kill you.

Mmm, I have my doubts about it being Nyx, but she seems more likely than any but Tartarus and Ouranos to rise in vengeance of her sister's eternal slumber. After meeting her, however, she doesn't seem like the type who really cares and wants to stay within her own realm. She will most likely stay down in Tartarus, the Mansion of Night.

Erebus will side with his wife, and much like her, would rather be in isolation away from all the conflict. So he shouldn't be a problem. Chronos, he doesn't care about anyone especially, so it's safe to say he will always be an observer. Pontus and Hydros, I believe they will be like Erebus and Nyx, not caring who wins or loses, lives or dies. They just go with the flow. Whatever happens happens. For them, a war would be pointless because they want nothing. Aether and Hemera, nearly unpredictable. They have always stood for what they believe to be right, justice. But there is injustice and a justified cause for both sides, making them remain neutral and watching things play out.

Now, Tartarus, not a lovely guy and he is very ill-tempered. He enjoys causing agony to anyone in his sight. He holds vast grudges in anything and everything he thinks messes with something that is his. Like Gaea, his wife. Not to mention his Giant children. He has armies at his command being the deity of the Pit itself, but that's exactly it. He might not want to leave the seclusion the Pit gives him. He has his own huge kingdom already and he loves it. He enjoys everything that goes on down there. Eventually, he'll move on from Gaea.

Ouranos, well, he'd be much like Kronos and would need a host. But a demigod would not suffice this time. He would require an immortal capable of withstanding all of his power. But he probably still dislikes Gaea strongly and his children even more. Well, the boys, the women stayed out of it. He will likely still love them. He has his own kingdom as well and has the superior control of it being who he is. In fact, just like Tartarus and Gaea and all Primordials, he is the personification of his own domain." Percy ticks his name off the list.

"So, who do you think...?" Artemis trails off.

"Well, it depends on what you have done in the past, who you angered, and why they're upset about it. You've done many things in such a long time, it'd be tedious to try and sort through them all. Who's powerful enough, or able to gain such power, to overthrow you for something you did? Surely there can't be too many of those cases since I narrowed it down a little. I doubt it's Clarence, he is dead after all." Percy shrugs.

"That is a very good point." Athena murmurs and starts to lose herself deep within her mind.

"What about a prophecy? Who is the new Oracle?" Percy turns to Apollo.

"Oh. Rachel Dare has been the best one and the most talented I have ever had, so I made her immortal. After the war, I trained her a bit and now she's all awesome." Apollo answers. "She hasn't seen anything yet or issued a prophecy. We will have to wait and see."

"Perhaps something could trigger it. I will go and find out. Knowing my luck, I'll trigger the damned thing. I'll be around. Call if you have need." Percy waves and flashes out with his sisters.

I hope you like the mini-update my lovely readers!
