Nerco's POV

I went back to the bedroom and saw Megan still sleeping. I touched her forehead. she was burning up. I started to panic what do I?! I opened my pocket watch and connect to the lab.

: Zane!"

Zane: yes Nerco?"

: MEGAN'S IS BURNING UP!!!"

Zane: first calm your ass down!"

I slowly calmed down. 

: ok I'm calm" 

Zane: good now listen get a cold wet rag, places it on her forehead and see if the cave has any water and food"

: ok wait I saw a map with a name Steven D on it"

Zane: Steven D.."

Zane stopped the connections and I did what he told me to do.   

2 hours later 

I sat down next to Megan who was still sleeping. her fever went down 

:*softy* Megs please wake up" 

Megan moved her hand a little. my girl, please stay with me 

Megan:* whispers* Nerco?"

: I'm here babe"

Megan opened her eyes and I saw her beautiful hazel eyes. 

Megan: Nero"

I was close to crying, I thought I lose the love of my life. I kissed her forehead and laid down next to her. 

Megan: Nerco are you ok?"

: I was worried sick about you"

Megan rolled over to face me and I hugged her. 

The Next Day

I woke up and saw Megan again. I got up and went to the main cave. 

Megan: good morning babe"

I saw Megan at the mini kitchen that was in the cave. 

: Morning Megs"

Megan: my grandfather was right to make this cave"

wait is Steven D her grandfather?!

: babe, what was your grandfather's name?"

Megan: Steven"

: did he have D in his name?"

Megan: no my mom did"

: I'm sorry for your lose babe"

Megan: thanks... there a river near this cave and I know I can get back to the village if we need food"

: babe, what happened yesterday?"

Megan looked away from me and she looked down at her watch. I walked over to her and hugged her. 

Megan: I used my energy to teleports us here, I knew if I told you yesterday you would get mad at me"

: mad no, worried sick yes"

Megan looked at me, I kissed her on the cheek. she started to blushes. 

: how much food do we have?"

Megan: about a month"

: wow your grandfather must have been preparing for doom's day"

Megan: yes he was"

:  oh"

I was helping her with breakfast, her hands was a little shake, she was scared but I was there to help her. Megan knows I can't do anything with coffee ( again sorry DarkSpyro) she made coffee before I woke up. the cave is really big. 

: hey babe"

Megan: yes Nero"

: have you shot off a gun before?"

Megan: yes once before his death"

I walked over to the M60, Megan walked over and unlocked the case. 

Megan: it's yours"

I took the M60 out of the case. Megan took the pistol out of the case that was next to the M60. we loaded some rounds in. her eyes was a little white. I lightly grabbed Megan's arm and pulled her into a hug. 

??: please don't let her eyes go white, she becomes emotionless and she won't be able to call the crystal"

: babe, please stay with me... I can't lose you, please stay with me"

Megan: N...Nerco"

: please I can't lose twice"

Megan: I love you Nerco"

I looked down at Megan and saw her eyes was back to normal. I kissed Megan.

Megan's POV

Nerco kisses me and I kissed him back. 

Nerco: please don't do that again"

: I won't"

we went outside of the cave. we started to hunt for food. I saw a house there was no door I slowly walked in and saw a crystal in the middle of the room.

I lightly touched the crystal and it went in me. My father told me about the four crystal I need to go guardian form.

??: listen to me my child you need the other three crystals to go into the gaurdain forms, the second one is near a lab"

Nerco: babe are you ok?"

I turned around and saw Nerco standing at the doorway of the house. I know that voice who was talking to me. my father but he has died 19 years ago. I started to cry Nerco set his gun down and walked over to me. he hugged me I was crying in his chest 

Nerco: I'm here"

I tried to speak but no words was coming out. Nerco started to rub my back in a caring way. we stood there for a few minutes, the crystal was now mine.

:b...babe"

Nerco: it's ok I'm here"

I looked up at him. He kissed my forehead. I felt safe with him.

Nerco: how about we head back to the cave?"

I nodded yes. My voice was still gone from the crying I was doing. We went back to the cave. Nerco placed his gun on the table next to mine

Nerco: feeling better?"

: a little"

Nerco walked over to me and hugged me. I hugged him back. Nerco why can't I tell you how I feel about you. 

Nerco: Megs, I know a place we can go but it's a week trip"

: babe, can we please stay here until I have the crystal thing figured out"

Nerco: yes we can babe, I'll help you"

I rested my head on his shoulder. he keep his arms around me. 

Nerco's POV

my little Megs. I promise you I would never leave you. she is so cute when she is resting. her eyes are just like lady Day's but she died over 20 years ago. I gently lifted her head up to face me. her eyes were a little white. Megan, please don't I can't lose the love of my life. 

: babe please I'm here for you ... for us"

Megan: I won't leave you, babe"

We stayed in the cave for the rest of the day. I was looking at the map to see if I can find my brother's lab. My pocket watch started to glow.

: hello?"

Zane: Nerco!"

: what Zane?"

Zane: where are you?!"

: at the cove why?"

Zane: there is a Martians ship close to you about 44 miles south"
