Shad's POV

Nerco came over to me while I was trying to catch my breath. Nova was rubbing my back I could tell she was really worried about me.

Nerco: Shad are you okay?"

: I'm fine thank you sir if it wasn't for your daughter and you, I probably would have died no offense to your daughter"

Nerco: you're welcome anything for the boyfriend of my daughter"

I was frozen in my spot how did he know unless Megan told him. Nerco held out his hand and I took it. he helped me to my feet. 

Nova: dad did Mom tell you?"

Nerco: yep, Shad can I have a word with you?"

: yes sir"

we walked away from Nova. 

Nerco: you so much as hurt my daughter feeling, me and my father will kill you"

: I will not harm her. I promised to protect her with my life no matter what happens to me"

Nerco: good"

P.A: Nerco, we need you in the ER ASAP!"

Nerco ran to the Er. me and Nova followed him.

Zane: it's Megan she passed out in the kitchen, she needs a fifth crystal"

Nova: wait that means... mom is pregnant"

Nerco: we need to find the last crystal". 

Nova: let me and Shad do it"

Nerco: please hurry"

we ran to our rooms and started to pack a bag. I ran to Nova's room and saw her walking out of the room. 

: babe are you ok?"

Nova: just worried my mom"

: it's ok babe we will get the crystal for her"

Nova looked at me with worried eyes. I pulled her into a hug. Nova hugged me back. we let go and went to her jeep which Jack and Zane fixed. we got in the jeep ( 4 hours later ) we made it back to the lab, we was in the kitchen Nova's hands was covered in wraps. I gently touched her hands and healed them. 

Nova: thank you"

: anything for you babe"

Nova pulled out the crystal.

Nova: babe, if the first four crystals have a general would this crystal have one?"

: no, there are only four generals"

Nerco: did you guys get it?"

Nova handed Nerco the fifth crystal, I swept Nova off her feet. Nova buried her face in my neck. I teleported me and Nova to my room. 

Nova: babe?"

: can we relax?"

Nova: yes we can"

I set Nova on my bed. I looked at Nova and saw her eyes was different colors. They were red and pink, red on top and pink on the bottom. I've heard about this before Day told me that a phoenix eye will change red and pink when they are in deep love with their partner I didn't know if Nova wanted to do what my mind had shown me before I did not want to force anything with Nova.

: Babe, your eyes are pink and red are you okay?"

Nova: I'm fine it's just sometimes my eyes do this when I'm thinking about you in a very dirty way"

:* my heart starts to race* how dirty?"

Nova:*her face turned deep red* s.....e.......x"

My face turned to deep red matching hers, that was what my mind has shown me the night she was laying on my chest.

: you're not the only one the night that you was laying on my chest my mind has shown me us doing it but I didn't want to force you into it"

Nova: maybe we could take it a bit slow I know that we just helped my mom by getting the 5th Crystal if you wanted we can do it tonight"

: isn't the party tomorrow?"

Nova: yes it is but what does that have to do with the fact that we just told each other but we want to step of relationship up a notch?"

: let's do it tomorrow it will give us some time to think, are you okay with that?"

Nova: it's okay with me besides I'm trying to figure out why my sister attacked you"

: I don't know I might talk to your grandfather in the morning and see what he thinks babe can I ask you something"

Nova: sure"

: that night when we attacked in your Jeep what was you feeling?"

Nova: I was scared and I didn't know what to do but I remembered you was there and you would never let me get hurt like that and I heard my grandma talking about how you made a promise to my dad and my grandfather about keeping me safe from all harm"

I kissed Nova on the forehead and went to go grab a movie the thought of me and her having a child was running through my head I didn't know if it was a good thing or bad thing that I wanted it to happen I tried to call my thoughts when I grab the popcorn from the microwave but I can't stop thinking about it.

Dark: somebody thinking of something"

I jumped and dropped the popcorn but Dark caught it before it even hit the ground.

: Sir Dark"

Dark: I could tell by the way you was just standing, you was thinking of something you can tell me I won't get mad at you unless you decide to hurt my granddaughter then I will hurt you"

: no I wasn't planning on hurting her it's just she told me that she was thinking very dirty thoughts about me and her, I was too and I still am what would your son think about me having a child with his daughter"

Dark: he would say if it makes her happy he's happy I should know when I found out that my son Nerco I had a girlfriend and four children I was happy as heck but when my girlfriend came back thanks to you and Nova I was really excited I get the love of my life back which reminds me of something"

He pulled out a Redbox in his pocket when he opened it up I was shocked to see what it was.

: is that what I think it is?"

Dark: I'm going to ask my girlfriend to marry me since there's going to be a party tomorrow I thought it would be a good chance to do it the day of the party to make it a special day"

: that's a wonderful idea I think I might be able to help I'm no expert in the love dating advice but if you want to propose do it at the right time in the most romantic time to propose is a right at the sunset right before the party starts to the wedding to be the next day"

Dark: thanks Shad"

: you're welcome sir Dark"

I went to my room and saw my bathroom door was open it was probably Nova I grab the movie instead of getting things ready.

The next Day, Dark's POV

I was thinking about what me and Shad talked about last night I was so nervous when I lost sight of Day I thought about giving up my life but when I heard that she was alive I was overjoyed and now that she's with me again I was more happy. Day was hoping  Nova out with decorating for the party that was tonight.

Nerco: dad you've been staring at that cup of coffee for at least an hour now what's wrong?"

: I'm nervous about asking your mom a question it's a question I've been wanting to ask her for a long time but when I lost sight of food I felt like my life was useless"

Blaze: now don't say that you helped me and my brother teach Nick and Max how to shift into the forms I think it's great that you want to ask Mom that question are you planning on doing it tonight?"

: yes I am I just don't know how to do it your mother means everything to me just like you guys do I just hope that it goes according to my plan"

Blaze: we can help in any way you need us to Dad"

Later that Night

I was looking at my clothes for tonight. When something caught me eye.

I have not worn this in years. I wonder if it still fits I tried it on and it still fits after years of being put away. I walked out of my room and went to the grand hall where I saw everybody everybody but my girlfriend I was getting voice sick she's never late.

Nerco: Dad?"

: do you know your mother's at?"

Nerco: no I was just about to ask you if you seen Nova"

: I thought she was with Shad"

Nerco: that's what I thought too but she's not with him I'm starting to get worried"

All of a sudden the room became eerily quiet I turned around and I was in love with what I saw at the door.

Nerco:  I found mom"

I cannot take my eyes off of her.  I was speechless my girlfriend looked Super hot.

Shad's POV

I was about to take a drink of the punch that was served at the party when I saw my girlfriend I dropped my glass because I was in love with what I saw.

Max: you hurt my sister's heart me and my dad will kill you"

: well you're going to have to get in the back of the line your grandfather your dad and your mom wants to kill me if I hurt your sister and I've already told them I would never hurt her".
