After the conflict ends,

my father returns,

yes, he's alive again.

We celebrated with hugs and kisses,

for he fought danger,

hand in hand with risk,

and now he's back with me,

we share this bliss.

Time to rebuild,

our lives to reclaim

from the lies we once knew,

may they never be the same.

Our games and our jokes,

though in a city broken,

we still find joy

as every word is spoken.

Days return to normal,

as we fix what was,

undoing so many moral flaws.
