Searching for food,

in the midst of this bitter strife,

even bread's too high-priced,

but perhaps this will end,

maybe, someday in life.

Evil men come near,

I freeze with fear,

if I speak, will I die?

I see it all clear.

My heart's racing fast,

but I can't seem to move,

my city now shattered,

its life all removed.

Everything changed a year ago,

when power fell into the hands

of those evil ones

who now rule these lands.

Now everyone's silent,

the world's rearranged,

and daily we suffer,

everything's strange.
