The Seven Universes, Pt.1
Greetings, children. I am Lord Virzion, Fifth of the Seven Beings, Creator of Teleportation, Telekinesis and other things ad infinitum. This chapter had initially been written by the one who has revealed this world to you, but when he showed its draft to me, I realised that the only people in a position to narrate this tale were those who were present when it occurred. That is why I decided to write it myself.
Once I'd given my Siblings my speech, I sent the Life Vortex forth. My initial intention had been to create ONE planet, teeming with life, but it seems I underestimated the power of the Life Vortex, for I ended up creating the multiverse, as the writer has already revealed to you in the previous chapter. This Multiverse contained several Realities, and for a while, I had no idea what I was supposed to. That's when my brother, Domitorem along with Morgul and Imencur joined hands (or at least, that's what humans would perceive them as) and let their glowing energy pass through them, thus providing their comfort and shelter to all Realities save one- the Reality#1.
I looked at them, stunned for a second, but I soon recovered and looked through the Reality#1. It contained Seven Universes. I immediately knew what I had to do.
I waved my hands in a grandiloquent gesture, saying, "Sister Eonia, I gift you the First of the Seven, and name it Eonia's World!"
Instantly, chaos ensued among my siblings.
"That's a terrible name, Brother" said Morgul, chuckling.
"Hey! It-" I began indignantly, but was interrupted by Domitorem, who happily growled, and said, "Seven Universes for us to vanquish, Brother? You have done well"
"No, I-" I again began weakly, and again got cut off by my sister, who gently hugged me and said, "Thank you, Brother"
I smiled, and tried to speak again, being interrupted by Rex.
"Fiat Pax" he said, which means, "Let there be peace"
All of us fell silent, and he spoke once more. "Loqueris, Frater" (Speak, Brother)
"I thank you, Rex. Now, to begin. My Life Vortex, instead of creating one world, created a multitude of Realities, of Universes- a Multiverse, so to speak. And I accidentally have injected life into all of them." I quailed a little under Morgul's glare, but forged ahead, "In this Reality, we have Seven Universes, one for each one of us to govern as we see fit. You may pick yours, and if there is any dispute over any Universe, it shall be settled the traditional way" (The traditional way being a duel)
All my siblings, as expected, approved of my plan, and were satisfied. Rex nodded gravely, and said, "Exeamus" (Let us go forth)
We first moved to Eonia's World. Her world was split into two categories- a planetary system with two planets which teemed with life (You'd know them as Earth and Mars). The other was a GROUP of planetary systems, imbued with strong hints of the LIfe Vortex, which caused a tremendous growth and evolution. This would be known in the future as the Splaro system.
We all spoke telepathically, and Rex nodded- gravely, as always- and said, "This Universe belongs to Eonia"
Eonia smiled, and decided, "I name it Chara, and claim all responsibility for it, becoming its patron."
She then teleported there, smoothened the path of life, and returned.(After creating a Garden for the Splarans and Humans to live together in peace named The Garden Of Eonia) I shall not dwell too much on the features of this universe, as you live here anyway.
"Let's visit the rest!" she exclaimed.
Upon looking at the next Universe, all of us felt a queer combination of amazement and horror, save one. In front of us lay two planets, one made of matter, the other of antimatter. The one made of matter was surrounded by a mass of antimatter, and the one made of antimatter was surrounded by matter. We watched as the planet made of matter absorbed the matter that surrounded the antimatter-planet to grow larger, and the planet made of antimatter did the same. They then threw the surplus at each other, and the resultant collision created a Barrier of Void (Nothingness made of Light), leaving them as the only things in existence. All of us were horrified by the carnage, except for Morgul, who slowly floated towards it, attracted by the elegance of what had just occurred. What he saw, I still do not understand.
"I CLAIM THIS UNIVERSE AS MINE! WHO HERE SHALL CHALLENGE ME?" he roared.
"Calm down, Brother. Your aggression shall achieve no purpose here. At any rate, nobody here wishes to challenge you" said Imencur.
"Indeed, you do not need to be so aggressive," I said, again cowering under his glare, and continued, "or you could be, I raise no objection to it."
I hastily retreated.
"Xiphos I name it! To its ruler, I present a shard of my Morgullon blade, encased in a scabbard made of Labolan Rong!" he said.
Then, he teleported to Xiphos (which is what he named it, after its inhabitants, who called themselves Xiphoans), where he scared Lorgum (which is what he named the man), the leader of the Xiphoans, out of his senses, and returned, smirking.
"Let's continue" Domitorem impatiently huffed.
The Third Universe was unlike the first two. Instead of Void, matter or antimatter, it was made of a substance akin to what you Earthlings would call land, called REKOS. Every spot in that universe was connected by it, and given sufficient resources, any inhabitant could traverse it. Every spot of Rekos was then claimed by small groups of those creatures over centuries. I watched them stake small pieces of land and fight for them against neighbouring groups, and was repulsed, just as I was with the Second Universe.
I sighed, and retreated, waiting for someone else to claim it.
"Will you look at that?" Domitorem said, in awe.
I came to see what he was pointing at. A man who had no name, so we shall call him The Elder, headed a tribe of 10,000 people, and under him, they managed to conquer EVERY OTHER TRIBE THERE WAS, in a matter of 50 years. . He was a man with tireless energy, boundless ambition and a fiery soul that thirsted for power and knowledge. All the millions of tribes only remained united because of his charisma. "Nikos Stratos" said Rex, and that became the Universe's name.
Suddenly, Domitorem teleported, and I stumbled back.
"You should warn people before you teleport, you fool!" I screamed at him.
Some time later, he returned, chuckling.
He told us what happened. "So, I see this punk who reminds me of myself, and I'm pretty impressed an' all with him, so I just go up to him- as a shadow, of course. I asked him to meet me at the Kanchong River- crazy name, right?- just to act mysterious, y'know. So anyway, I say to this guy in a gruff voice that I'm a god and I'm happy with what he's done, and I give him that toolbox with Virzion's cute gadgets-" he would have continued rambling in this vein if I hadn't interrupted.
"They aren't cute toys, brother! They're highly lethal weapons capable of universal destruction!" I yelled, but got interrupted by him (this seemed to happen to me a lot).
"Yeah, yeah, whatever" he nonchalantly said.
"NO, you don't understand! You did something unbelievably foolish, and we may come to regret it very soon!"
"We won't," he growled suddenly, "and he was worthy of those weapons, or I would never in a thousand ages trust him with the Stars" (The Stars are a weapon created by me, capable of doing anything from, cookie-baking to universal destruction)
I was rendered speechless.
"Now, may I continue, or does the Great Lord Virzion have a problem with that?" he sarcastically asked me.
I mutely nodded, and he resumed his tale.
"Good. Now, as I was sayin', I gave this dude the stars with the standard warning, and then I came back here. Last thing I saw was his expression. Priceless, I tell ya. PRICELESS!" he broke into peals of laughter at the thought.
I was going to ask him to be quiet so that we could continue, but I just as lief reserved my opinion when Rex said, "Procedamus" (Let us proceed).
