“The ruling I'm talking about will bring me to my answer. Have you six ever heard of Lexi?” Melanie asked as the vessels shook their heads.

“Of course not. Lexi… she was the oldest out of me Lorenza and Alice, but when she died my mother and her selfish self gave the entire kingdom over to Lorenza.” Melanie answered.

“Lexi lived her life to lead me to this answer. The reason why in order to protect the elemental world… she sacrificed her life. First, I will find that out.” Melanie began. “Just what exactly… the elemental world that she went so far to protect actually are?” Melanie asked.

“According to what our ancestors have said…in order to put a stop to countless kingdoms and children killing each other… the villages were created as a framework.” Melanie continued.

“A framework that would lead to peace. Lexi alone was used to maintain that peace and keep it in balance. And at last, I've only finally began to realize…” Melanie continued as the vessels glared at her.

“She was made to swallow that bitter pill and go into the darkness. Made into a criminal of the villages and a traitor to his country. And while taking all that hatred into herself she was a vessel who protected the elemental world and all the villages while staying in the shadows.” Melanie explained.

“She was a true queen. Not someone that was recognized by everyone. That name is more fitting for someone who could accept the grudges and hatred of everyone and bare them all.” Melanie continued.

“Furthermore, I also realized how strongly Lexi towards the world she would go that far to protect them.” Melanie added. “But by sister made one mistake… her little sister who was still alive, me, had been exposed to the truth.” Melanie clenched her first.

“But… I'm not longer like my sister. Not Lorenza. Not Lexi. Not Alice. Not even my mother and father. I don't even want to remember any of them.” Melanie added.

“I am alone. And now, alone, I can shoulder and bear all of that hatred myself. And then I, myself shall take care of everything. It has come to me to deal with all of the problems of the vessels on my own.” Melanie vowed.

“Even their judgement, and their punishment. I, alone, shall be the one to hand it down. I will let all the hatred focus and center on myself. And then I will unify all the villages. The hatred in the darkness must die. And it must happen soon.” Melanie declared.

“Yes the ruler I'm talking about… is the person who sets fire to all of the villages darkness with her own one flame. And then eats the ashes and continues to carry on and survive.” Melanie declared.

“And you think everyone’s just gonna say ‘okay’ to that?!” Vanessa asked. “I told you. It doesn't matter in the least what you all think of me. As of now, I'm the only one that has the power to take control.” Melanie answered as Amber remembered the last words Stormy said before Amber killed her.

Flashback

“I, alone have done everything that has happened in this war!! I am responsible for everything! That is my duty!” Amber yelled. “You said that you've made it all the way here thanks to everyone, right?” Stormy asked as Amber nodded.

“If you become too prideful and forget about all the people who gave you the strength that brought you to this moment and get too focused on the “individual” then sooner or later… your gonna turn out like Rose and Irene.” Stormy answered.

“No matter how strong you become, don't try to shoulder everything by yourself… if you do that, you will surely fail. As the last earth vessel you mother, Abigail, had your father and close comrades.” Stormy explained.

“I tried to do everything by myself… and I failed. This time, I'm gonna leave things to my comrades” Stormy said as she closed her eyes and vanished into dust.

End of flashback

“You didn't understand what Lexi lived for! There are some things that nobody can do alone!! Even my past fights proved that!” Amber yelled as Melanie remembered something from her childhood.

Flashback

“Perhaps, as individuals there is nothing and no one that can be perfect or flawless while alone. That's why we were born to be drawn towards people that will complete us. And I think as we start to form our bonds with those people nearby us and start to make us whole, we at last begin to start getting closer to our destination.” Lexi explained.

End of flashback

“But that alone… isn't enough for everything to go smoothly… just like these 7 statues if the elements. Fire, water, wind, ice, earth, electricity, and chaos.” Melanie shot back.

“It's a revelation… so that the villages will no longer exist in and be instruments of darkness. I, alone, shall become the darkness.” Melanie declared. “I will now deal with the pitch black darkness of the past. In order to start over from scratch so we can head into a pure white future.” Melanie explained.

“And so to do that Melanie is going to kill the leaders of the main 6 villages and us?!!” Zara yelled.  “That's correct. I'm going to sever the past!” Melanie answered calmly as Amber got mad.

“You can't possibly be able to erase every bit of Lexi from your being, can you?! Lexi is your sister, so was Lorenza and Alice! You 4 are connected through many things that have happened. And it made you who you are now!!” Amber yelled.

“To me, Lexi is now… nothing more than the past. As of now, I plan to correct all to the errors and fails of the past, sever them clean away, and start over new.” Melanie answered.

“And I will begin by cutting the 6 of you down. One by one. And the blood that rains down. Shall be a final memorial to the lost of my sister.” Melanie declared as Rebecca remembered what Lorenza told her.

Flash back

“You said that you thought of Melanie as a person who just lost her way, didn't you?” Lorenza asked as Rebecca nodded. “That's why I think you six are the only one that can stop him, Rebecca I leave Melanie in your hands.”

Flashback over

“You're not cutting us down. I've learned everything I know from the people in my past and from my present! And what I've learned is when you mess up you pick yourself up and figure out what to do next!” Rebecca yelled.

At the palace

“Lorenza… I'm about at my limit…what the heck are we supposed to do?” Kelly asked. “All we can do is believe in them… that is all we can do now. Just like I told the vessel when I activated the moonlight spark in them… “What you do next… and what will happened all depends in you.” Lorenza answered.

With the vessels

All the vessel then lunged at Melanie with the first attack! Let the battle begin!
