I stood in the front lines with my second in command as we watch Rose’s army march up the hill towards us. I looked back at our villagers who looked ready and willing to fight. “Today, we're taking down their vanguard!!” I yelled before them. “We will not back down and we cannot let them breach the walls. The future of the elemental world is on the line here!”

“Wait for my signal.” I got on my black horse. I stood there as Rose’s army came to a stop with Kacy leading them. Sending one of their princess to lead and army… isn't that suicidal for her?! I sighed, then again I'm doing this to save my village.

My eyes met with Kacy’s and we both held up their Swords showing our armies it was time to attack. They threw their arms down simultaneously we then rushes into battle on our horses. I rushed straight to Kacy slashing at me buy a passing soldier but along my house. “Milly!” I shouted as I fell off. I looked over the wounds as Kacy smiled over me with an evil smile. I turned to see my army being easily overpowered. I froze seeing something in the distance run towards the battlefield. “Melinda!?!”

“Cleo!!” She screamed running towards me. “They've breached the walls i-i…” she trailed off as a soldier came rushing at us. “Cleo!” she jumped in front of me taking the sword slash across the chest. She screamed out in pain.

“Melinda!” I yelled catching her. She laid in my arms. Her white dress stained with her own blood. I picked her up leave the wounded horse. “Hold on.” I said rushing her inside the castle the now had fleeing soldiers from Rose's army.

My mind raced as I looked up to Ashley, one of the medical vessels here to help out the wounded. I saw the chief holding her close to his chest. She was crying. “Chief!” I said holding the bleeding Melinda in my arms. Ashley looked up as the chief turned his head.

“M-melinda! No!” Ashley screamed. She ran to me, I was now covered in Melinda’s blood. “Bring her to the medical room, quickly. We need to stop the bleeding before we lose her!”

I nodded as rushed her to the medical room. Ashley shut the door and started the surgery.

Hours later I got the news that Melinda was okay and we defeated their vanguard but Lorenza wanted to see everyone in the tactician room immediately.
