“Hey I think she's waking up.” I heard Ryan said as I opened my eyes to see everyone was around other than Zara, Amber, and Lizzie. “When did I get back to the palace? Wait did I beat luna?” I asked. “Yeah! You freakin shocked her like crazy! You used that move 10000 voltage thunderbolt.” Ayden answered.

“Oh! Yeah I remember now!” I laughed as I tried to get up but my leg was killing me. “You need to rest Valerie. You've used too much magic for on day.” Grace told me as I layed back down. “If these 3 are this strong imagine how strong Melanie is!” I said looking as my arms that we're wrapped up in bandages.

There was then a beeping sound coming from the magic sensory reader. “Hey it looks like Zara’s getting closer to one of the Havana members!” I smiled as Luke clicked on the light blue dot. “Apparently she has no name but her code name is icy. She specializes in ice magic.” Luke explained as I sighed.

Z A R A

“Zara! Listen to me you do know the girl your about to face uses ice magic right!?” Valerie-san asked through the earpiece. “Zara knows, it be nice if I knew her name!” I sighed as I looked at the information again to see her codename was…. ICY!!??

I automatically stopped the motorcycle in its tracks. It couldn't be! That's impossible! I remember her dying!!?? “Zara… what's wrong?” luke-sama asked. “Nothing.” I answered as I kept driving. The motorcycle just stopped for some reason, I looked down to see that the wheels are frozen. “I never thought I'd be facing you… Zara-sama.” A voice said as it walked out of the shadows to reveal. Icy.

She had an outfit that appears to be a qipao she had a snowflake design on the front of it, it had long wide sleeves and an obi like those of a kimono, a big ribbon wrapped around the waist and tied in the back. Below the waist are pieces of cloth hanging in a form of vertical stripes. She also wore knee-high socks, as well as flip-flops as footwear. Her light blue hair was tied up in two high pigtails, secured by two round, snowflake clips. “Sister Icy.”

At the palace

“Huh!? Siblings!!” Rebecca yelled. “They are members of the elemental worlds oldest and greatest blood line… the house of the McCain clan. But they aren't siblings.” Kelly explained. “Then what are they?” Valerie asked. “Well they are members of the McCain clan's ‘main house’ and ‘side house’.”  Grace started.

“Side house and main house?” Luke asked. “Yes! Zara is a member of the McCain main house. That's why she got the water vessel from her sister Emily. While Icy carries the McCain blood but is in a lower house. Or the side house.” Angel explained.

“So they are cousins then? That makes fighting difficult.” Rebecca sighed. “Yes but… many things and happened between the two houses over the years… and right now they do not get along very well.” Grace explained. “Why?” Ayden asked. “We don't know everything, but…” Grace answered.

“In order to protect the blood and house of the original McCain family…. many rules have been established to put the main family in an advantageous situation. Because of this the side houses feel slighted.” Kelly explained. “So they hate each other then.” Rebecca asked as Kelly nodded.

With Zara {No one's POV}

Icy then for into her fighting stance as Zara did the same. “Before we begin to fight… I'd like to say something Zara-sama.” Icy requested as Zara nodded. “You don't make a good water vessel… just save us both the time and just die right now.” Icy said harshly. “You're too kind… you wish for harmony and avoid conflict… you agree with others, never resisting…” Icy explained. “That was when Zara and Icy were little, Zara’s changed.” Zara defend.

“And you have no confidence in yourself… I always feel your sense of inferiority, that's why I thought of be best if you didn't have the water stone. But then the war came around and your friends needed you. You couldn't turn down your friends request. And unwillingly you entered this war. You entered this reality. Am I wrong?” Icy explained as Zara glared at her. “Zara wanted to show Icy, no Zara wanted to show everyone that she wasn't the innocent, sweet, little lamb that need protecting!” Zara yelled

At the palace

“Zara…” Kelly smiled as she recalled a time when Zara was 10

Flashback

“Stand up Emily.” Zara's father ordered. “I'll be watching over Zara from now on… but are you sure it's alright? Zara is the member of the McCain main family.” Kelly requested. “Working as the water vessel may cause her to be surrounded by death. Do what you wish.” Zara's father answered.

“McCain doesn't need her..” he scolded as Kelly clenched her fist. “If she can't beat her sister Emily who is only 3 years older than her then she is worthless to me.” he explained as Kelly sighed. “If that is all please leave your in the way.” her ordered as Kelly nodded and left the training room to see Zara outside listening to the entire conversation.

Flashback over

“Zara don't let this girl psyche you out! I know you can beat her!” Kelly yelled supportively.

Back with Zara

“Zara-sama, as I thought, you're just the spoiled brat of the main house.” Icy teased. “WHAT DID YOU CALL ZARA!?!” Zara yelled. “People cannot change themselves.” Icy said blankly as Zara glared at her. “Losers are losers. Their personality and strength will not and cannot change.” Icy continued.

“Because people cannot change, differences are born...expressions like elite and loser are created.” Icy added as the words burned into Zara’s head.

“Looks, brains, ability, size, personality… all people judge and are judged in these values. Based on these unchangeable factors, people discriminate and are discriminated against. And they suffer within their own means.” Icy explained as the words circled Zara’s head like a tornado.

“Just like the fact that I am from the side ouse and you are from the main house cannot be changed.” Icy continued while back at the palace Luke was getting more mad by the second.

“I have seen through many things with the power of the eclipse eyes. So i know...you're just acting strong...deep inside you just want to run away from here.” Icy analyzed. “SHUT UP!!” Zara yelled.

At the palace

“Eclipse eyes?” Valerie asked. “The ‘eclipse eyes’ is one of the advanced blood abilities passed down in the McCain hous. It’s an eye ability similar to blood eyes but… in terms of ability of insight it surpasses the blood eyes.” Grace explained. “It’s also the reason why Zara’s eyes are a light shade of lavender.” Kelly added.

Back with Zara

  Icy’s eyes then turned a darker shade of lavender as it scared Zara a little bit. “You can’t fool my eyes. Against my pressure just now...your eyes floated to the upper left. This is a sign that you are remembering something from your past experiences. Your painful past.” Icy started.

“And after that you looked to the lower right. That’s a sign that you are imagining physical and mental pain.. Basically you are thinking about yourself...and form all the experiences until now, your are imagining the results to this fight. Imagining that.. You’ll die!!” Icy explained as Zara tried to shake the thoughts out of her head but that would go away.

“The action of you raising your arms in front of your body… that shows that you are trying to create a wall between us, create distance from me. That prevents me from figuring out how you truly feeling.” Icy continued. “Because everything I have said is totally true is it not?” Icy asked as Zara started shaking a little.

“Furthermore, touching your lip is a personality trait revealing a revealing a disturbance. It’s a defense mechanism to soften  the nervousness and worrying.” Icy analyzed as Zara tried to deny the fact of what she was saying is true.

“That you cannot change yo-” Icy said but Zara heard something from the ear piece. “YOU CAN ZARA!! Stop letting Icy deciding things about you!! Kick that girls ass Zara!!” Luke yelled from the earpiece. “Luke-sama….” Zara smiled as she got back into her fighting stance.

With Zara’s confidence back will she be able to beat Icy!? Or will she face the reality called death!!
