I kicked Shelly up into the air as I came up under her. “You finished” I yelled as I pulled back her arms. “ICE SHADOW DANCE!!” but before I could do the attack I felt all my magic left and this pain traveled all through my body. Damn it! What the heck is happening to me! I thought as I fell to the ground coughing up blood. I looked to my arms to see that I can see these black fire marks on my skin. I then saw everything flash before my eyes. Grayson, Rachel, the other vessels. Heh… having them worry about little ol me! I can't…. I can't let this thing control me! I thought as I got up and everything turned red. “Here it comes….” I said quietly as I saw Shelly diving down from the sky towards me. But before she could reach me I kicked her in the stomach sending her back up in the air. I was gonna kick her again but I missed. “Not good enough kid!” Shelly mocked as I shot a glare at Shelly. “THERE’S MORE WHERE THAT CAME FROM!!” I yelled as I dived my forearm into her neck making her dive right into the ground. “ICE FANG!!” I yelled as sharp pieces of ice shot into Shelly’s stomach. I looked at Shelly bleeding out. “This is what you get for killing my mother!” I yelled as Shelly closed her eyes. Everything then became dark and blurry and before I knew it I passed out.

At the palace!

“THAT'S MY GIRL!!” Grayson cheered. “Wow you got a real fighter there, too bad she gonna die in the next couple of minutes.” Jacob said as Rachel smirked and pointed at the screen to see Rebecca getting up. “But how!? That curse automatically kills the user after they use the power!?” Jacob stammered as Grayson laughed. “You know nothing about Rebecca do you?” Grayson laughed

Back with Rebecca

I got up slowly but is still felt this pain in my heart like it just stopped.  “Grayson… thanks to you I was able to survive. If I hadn't see your technique earlier I would've been in big trouble…. but It’s not a move I can count on very much.” I said into the ear piece. “I'm just glad you're alive, so you were able to copy part of my technique just from seeing it once… you seriously grown a lot since we've met.” Grayson said as I got up slowly and limped back to my motorcycle.

At the palace

“Master even a part of the ice shadow dance is impossible without grueling training… even with the devil's curse seal, it's not something to be perfected that easily and quickly…. heck I remember Grayson telling me took at least 10 months to perfect. And the creatively of that finishing move… she reminds me of Evangeline when she was younger.” Rachel reminiscenced staring at the screen. “That's the power of Rebecca's blood.” Grayson smirked as Joshua looked at the screen his eyes almost falling out of their sockets. “What's wrong Joshua, shocked that the curse seal didn't work?” Rachel asked sarcastically as they heard something slam through the barrier. They all looked over to the sound to see it was Rebecca, a very badly injured Rebecca. “Rebecca!” Grayson rejoiced as Rebecca got off the motorcycle and fell into his arms. “Grayson… you won't believe how hard it was to beat that girl. Why is everything spinning…. I'm going down.” Rebecca said as she collapsed to the ground. “Take her to the medical room. We need to seal up the curse!” Rachel ordered as Grayson picked her up and ran to the medical room. “You're always pushing yourself, Rebecca one of these days you're gonna get yourself killed. But for now I'm just glad you're alive.” Grayson said with a relieved sighed.

In the taction room

Jessica walled up the the magic sensory reader and taped on the bright red dot. “Jessica what are you doing?” Luke asked. “Getting the Intel on Vanessa’s opponent.” Jessica answered as a picture of a girl with burgundy hair and black eyes. “Her real name is unknown but her code name is Ember.” Jessica read the info as Daniel spat out his soda. “Say what now!?” Daniel yelled.
