So guys from today we will start trekking......every team will have 4 members 2 males and 2 females.....so now it depends upon ur luck which type of partner u get the instructor addressed the group of 40 people standing infront of him.......after that he started picking random chits from a bowl making teams.......

So next 4 members r the instructor took a pause as he collected 4 chits from bowl and said

Aliya as soon as they both heard their names they did a high five thanking that they would be together
Dhruv and aliya blushed hearing dhruv's name since the two were couple
The last one is .....
Nandini he announced and both manik and nandini groaned at their places.....

Uffff manik muttered distastefully

Sir nandini called panicking thinking about what would happen If she had to go with manik and his frnds

Wait....lemme complete this the instructor cut her making words die in her mouth only...after grouping nandini with navya went towards the instructor and said

Sir can u plzz change my team she said and instructor gave her a weird look.

I have already done the whole work...everyone is happy with their teams and I dont wanna waste more time in this he said in tone as if it was Nandini's fault that she was in wrong team

But sir I tried to say this b4 but u didnt let me complete my sentence she said rolling her eyes in annoyance

Look this camping trip is for u guys to gell up with new people....to learn to deal and enjoy company other than ur frnds he spoke in soft tone but if u dont want this team...u can stay here only in firm tone he said as he left from there while nandini kept looking at his back

How can he be so jerk she almost shouted and navya held her shoulders to calm her down

We paid him and he is acting like he is doing some favour she spat in furious tone

Nandini it's okay...hm dono yahe pe ruk jate hai she suggested as she knew how uncomfortable it was for nandini to go with them...also navya couldn't trust that idiot group for her frnd

Nhi....u were so excited for this trip navya nandini said in confused tone as she was pondering over what to do

Its okay....i have no problem with it navya said with a small smile

No...we'll go she said as she didnt want to ruin navya's trip why should we back out bcz of those jokers nandini said in firm tone as she held navya's hand to go back to their teams

The journey started and everyone stared trekking in the form of groups.....they had to reach a point and every group had a wish to be the first to reach there........manik aliya dhruv and nandini all were walking slowly with the trio chatting and laughing over their inside jokes and although aliya was trying to involve nandini in their conversations from time to time but still nandini really started missing navya....she felt like just running from there.....drowned in her thoughts she didnt even notice that aliya and dhruv went ahead of them to get some privacy while she was left alone with that khamboo.....getting bored cuz of the sudden silence manik bent and fisted the stones on their way and he got a new busyness as he started throwing those stones aiming at different things....they had crossed half of the distance and were crossing thru some steep paths which were somehow dangerous too as their slightest mistake could land them in a big pit.......manik jumped from a tree log as he stepped on a stone which was little slippery due to stream passing thru it........as soon as he stepped on a stone he knew it was steep and how difficult it could be for nandini to step on it so he extended his hand for her  but on the other side was nandini.....HOW COULD SHE TAKE HELP FROM HER ENEMY....she thought as she overlooked his hand and stepped on a log but unfortunately she slipped and her shreik echoed in the whole area......as she was falling down her hand touched a tree and she immediately hugged it tight...manik also jumped down and sat on his knees to look at her baffled....as soon as he saw her safe and also by seeing pit that was not too deep he sighed in peace.......sudden rage filled him as he sat down and didnt even extended his hand for nandini who was waiting for his help

Suits urself...now stay like this he said shrugging his shoulders and nandini gaped at his statement HOW RUDE she thought ignoring her mistake

Manik dhruv's voice appeared .

R u okay he asked in concerned tone and from that manik got to know that they weren't too far from them

Yeah bro chill...everything is okay he shouted back with same calmness

Bs logo ke dramay nhi khatam horhe he muttered as he glanced at nandini angrily who was trying to step on a stone but after her all efforts went invain she just looked down and all.she could see was big trees and stones covering the whole area....getting scared she called manik for help

Manik help me she sounded helpless + irritated and in that state of tension she preferred calling him manik instead of the nickname given by her

Say sorry manik demanded giving her his cheeky smile

WHAT she asked  doubting his mental state....like m hanging between life and death and he wants me to apologise she thought completely pissed off

Have u gone mad with eyebrows narrowed she asked as she made a firm decision that she would prefer dying rather than asking for apology

Okay babye manik got up as he dusted sand off his pants and pretended to walk away

Plzzzz manik he heard her quivering tone as he took a step I dont wanna die this young....abhi mene is dunya mein dekha hi Kia hai she added more misery in her voice and manik tilted his head to look at the drama queen

Say sorry then he said as he gripped her one hand giving her some support

U r trying to take advantage of a girl's helpless state her angry side came

Ohh hello itni tm Ms world...shakal Dekho apni....he said in distasteful tone taking advantage of a girl manik mimicked her as he removed her both hands from tree bar and jerked them as she felt she was going to fall

Plzzz no manik.....m sorry plzzz pull me up she said as she looked at him with tear-pooled eyes....and just by looking at her state manik guessed that she couldn't bear more so he pulled her up and she immediately fisted his shirt's fabric tight and manik's breath stuck in his throat as she was very close to him....infact he could feel her warm breaths on his clothed chest

For a moment I thought u will actually let me fall bcz of our fight he felt her breathless tone which cracked at the end indicating that she was trying to control her tears.......sudden guilty washed his heart as he never thought that a girl who pretended so brave all the time could also be that fragile from heart

No its okay...u r safe now he collected words to console her as his one hand raised in air to hold her shoulder but all those scenes appeared like a film of how composed and calm she kept herself.....away from boys in all her grace and he didnt want to break her self confidence by breaking the barriers she had put around to protect herself..he didnt want her to get embarrassed thinking about her weak moment...thinking that manik took advantage of her state...removing his shirt's fabric from her small fist he took a step back and his this act also brought nandini back to world.....she tucked her hair behind her ear embarrassed as she sat on a small stone

Ye lo pani piyo he said throwing bottle water towards her which she caught in time....taking 2 3 sips she looked at manik who was chewing gum carelessly not even looking at her or avoiding her intentionally??

Ms world we dont have whole day cmng back to his teasing mode he said as he could sense her embarrassment and didnt know why but he didnt like her in that way

Dont worry Mr theif we wont loose she said getting up from stone as she closed the lid of water bottle and tightened her pony following manik......they were tekking silently and from that time Nandini's mind was stuck there only......manik teasing..their fight....how he helped her and in her moment of weakness how he chose her dignity over everything ....... the respect for him started growing in her heart as she stared at his back....stared at the man who was different from everyone....who didnt use to give her those creepy looks.....who found fun in fighting with her.....nandini smiled recalling that night incident which started a chain of fights and revenge in b/w them.......

So as expected manan were the last one to reach at the end point and aliya dhruv were looking at him and only their looks were enough to kill both of them

Khan mar gya tha to dhruv asked in irritated tone as he punched manik cuz of them they lost...manik looked at nandini and then at the duo and only pouted in answer

Wo bas he said scratching his scalp

Mjhe PTA hai tere hi ghalti hoge....bs larte rhe hoge dono aliya said rolling her eyes at both of them and manik made a puppy face at her statement not even revealing the actual thing

No it's not his fault..we stopped at a place cuz of me nandini said removing the blame from manik and dhruv aliya exchanged sarcastic looks at her concern......

Fuck u guys manik whisper yelled as he saw them exchanging meaningful looks and both smirked while nandini stood there clueless but jerking away her thoughts she went from there and she could hear their loud laughter behind her.....

Manik and his frnds grp were sitting at the pool area enjoying gossip with drinks......suddenly Rohan asked so manik how was ur day with that great girl he smirked as he reminisced the breakfast scene

Wonderful, amazing aliya and dhruv both shouted hurriedly having smirks on their faces while manik choked hearing to them........

Guys u know what aliya said extending every word but manik intervened

Stop it dhruv aliya he said rolling his eyes their is nothing like that

Ohhh really....but we didn't even say a word about that.....we were just talking that how our day went with a lopsided smile dhruv said and their laughter echoed in the environment

Kamine to chup reh manik said throwing the empty can at dhruv

Ohhh so manik finally u r over that prerna cabir said in excited tone as prerna used to irritate him often whenever their was some tension b/w her and manik

Pagal hogye ho tm log.....fazool manik got up to leave but everyone insisted him to stay promising that they wont tease him anymore

Achaw manik sirf 1 baat bta de..... Rohan asked for his permission

Ye to bta thje nandini lgti kese hai manik glared at her while everyone stiffled their laughs at his question

Nhi nhi just asking.....dont answer if u dont want to shurgging his shoulders rohan said and silence fell over there......after sometime manik broke the silence saying

I have never seen someone so graceful and sophisticated as her.....like she knows her boundaries he said with his eyes fixed at the sky as he reminisced all their encounters

Ohhhhhhhhhh their meaningful voices followed him and he went from there shaking his head in disbelief

And is that khambu gud to u.....he didnt tease u naa she asked in innocent tone concerned about nandini

Navya he is not that bad....aur khambu nhi uska naam manik hai she asked in light tone with a cute smile on her face as she remembered all his respect for her

Ohhhhhh manikkkk navya said teasingly as she nudged Nandini's shoulder

Kia baat hai nandini murthy....

Nothing pagal ho tm nandini got up and turned her back towards navya to hide her blush......she then moved towards window scolding herself as to why she was blushing.....her heart missed a beat as the handsome face roamed infront of her eyes and she couldn't help but admit that how handsome and of strong character he was

The two were in their respective rooms smiling thinking about each other

Yeah one more thing mukti is not part of manik's frnds grp...its my mistake that I end up including her in his frnds grp out of habit....she is his bhabhi only....sorry for confusion 🤐🤐
