Nandini it's just for few days he asked making a cute pout and nandini smiled at her brother

Ohooo dont make cute faces now.... she said pulling his cheeks and they smiled while soha made a face as she munched her food

Nandini ur brother has asked for just 1 favour and u cant even do that soha didnt really like nandini denying for help

Aap log tension na le she announced bhai I have already found an intelligent person to help u nandini got excited announcing it and then she saw manik descending down the stairs

Here he is nandini pointed at manik who had planned to just go out of house quietly and not disturb the family at the time of breakfast........it alerted manik and he stopped right there while closed his eyes in frustration of missing the chance to sneak out......soha stood up and called manik

Ao manik breakfast kar lo and manik had no option than to go there.....

Gud morning manik....

Gud morning he said in cheerful tone as he pulled back a chair to sit while soha brought fresh warm food for manik

Bhaiya manik has promised me to help u.....he is very gud at accounts stuff nandini said as if manik wasnt the one who needed the job instead he was just doing a favour

It would trouble him aryaman was hesitant to accept help from manik thinking that he should just focus on his acting career as that was why manik left his home

I thought we r brothers manik said in complaining tone and aryaman smiled as he patted manik's shoulder.....soon aryaman got up and manik stopped eating as he raised his head to look at nandini who was now busy with her nephew squashing his cheeks....tickling him who was giggling

Nandini manik called as he pinched the little one's cheek who raised his hands in air

Mamu rohaan called manik who picked him up and attached him to his chest

Mamu ki jaan he said and then looked at nandini who was just waiting for him to say sth

I wont forget ur favour he said in grateful tone while nandini just smiled at him

I did nothing....u r offering ur services to bhaiya....he needed u nandini said in gentle tone and manik smiled in return.....he kissed Rohan hard and left

As soon as he reached the shop he went thru the whole data understanding how their system worked.......he took hold of accounts and started doing his work efficiently....besides handling accounts stuff he was also helping salesmen......aryaman smiled seeing him working so dedicatedly

Manik plzz msg ur account details he asked manik who was busy entering details into computer

Bhai....mein ye sab is liye nahi kar rha he stopped working and looked at him but aryaman just looked at him and insisted yaar do to shi manik was about to say sth when aryaman stopped him raising his finger

No arguments he said strictly and went away and minutes later manik's phone beeped with a msg that 20,000 /- was transferred in his account........he gazed at the screen blankly thinking about such huge amount of money in his account.....and then when he realized it was aryaman his heart filled with gratitude and thankfulness.....he needed the money badly and his past few months whole income wasnt equal to what aryaman gave him on the very first day.......

At evening manik came into house loaded with shopping bags.....he went straight inside the lounge and placed food on dining table and called for soha and everyone else.....hearing noise from kids room he went there to find everyone sitting there enjoying each other's company

Manik agye tm.... Soha said getting up from bed to bring water for him

Shukar hai manik yaar tm agye....ye soha ne to ghar mein hunger strike ki hue aryaman said in joking way and manik smiled g bhai wo mene hi manaa Kia tha ajaye khana khate hain he said as he picked up riya and rohan and followed soha while nandini and aryaman followed him

Manik itna SB kuch aryaman said looking at the shoppers lying on dining table

Mein apni kushi se laya hn bhai he said as he really wanted to contribute otherwise his self respect wouldnt have let him live in peace

Riya ke liye mamu pasta laye hai aur rohaan ke liye pizza manik said as he kissed the excited faces of kids and opened the food packaging for them meanwhile nandini and soha arranged the table for elders

They all started eating in a good mood and nandini stared at manik's happy face whose face held a special glow.....he was chirping again....seeing him like that a smile appeared on her face immediately

Manik was looking at the saree he bought for his mother and he smiled caressing it....his eyes turned watery as he pressed his index finger at the corner of eye to stop tears from flowing......it was his wish to buy sth for his mother from his own money and he fulfilled it all bcz of aryaman's family........meanwhile his door knocked snapping him out of his thoughts.....he cleared his throat and looked at the door to see nandini standing there with mugs in her hands....she smiled as she entered and sat on a chair

Bht kush ho aaj she said handing him the mug which had coffee in it

Aaj mjhe lga mein kisi pe burden nhi hn sirf he said as he moved his finger over the mouth of mug

Thnku so much he said again and nandini just shook her head bas karo she said and manik smiled as he searched for sth from shoppers

Ye mein tmhare liye laya tha....idk about ur likings and dislikings so I just bought what I like he handed her a book with chocolates and nandini happily accepted it

Wow....I love reading books too she said surfing thru the pages of book

So have u visited ur mother ??nandini asked and manik shook his head

No , I can't meet her...she cant come out of house and abba wont let me enter his house he said grazing at the coffee mug....his voice held pain

U can try atleast she encouraged him to visit his mother as she knew the pain when ur parents arent there anymore

Idk he didnt know what to do

Okay choro ye sab....I bought saree for her he picked up the box and opened it showing a beautiful saree for her

It's so beautiful....ur maa will love it she said and manik smiled as he mumbled I know, even if I would have bought a crap she would still consider it as a most beautiful gift....she loves me he chuckled but still he felt a lump in his throat at the thought of leaving her and being not there for her when she needed him

Tm sorry kar lo baba se....wo tmhe mauf kar den ge nandini said in optimistic tone as she really wanted him to stay with his parents.....she knew the pain of missing ur parents badly and not being able to meet them or atleast see them

Abba ka perfect beta nhi bn ska mein....unhe nafrat hai meri acting se blke wo to mere se hi nafrat karte hai....achaw hai mein agya wahan se he said as he again experienced pain of that dreadful night when his father threw him out of his house

Bht maufi mangi thi mene....kha tha acting bhi chor dnga but wo mere shakal bhi nhi dekhna chahte manik said and he didnt know why he was sharing his pain with her but he felt like doing it.....nandini stared at his face which held pain and she felt bad for taunting him every now and then .....a deadening silence fell in room but soon manik got out of his thoughts and got up

Tm jao bht raat hogye he turned his back towards her....nandini just stared at his back and letting out a heavy breath she said

Idk when but everything will be okay 1 day she whispered and for manik it was nothing but a consoling sentence which wasnt going to happen in real life

Nandini left while manik landed on bed as his fingers messaged his scalp.....he heard his mother cries again and he closed his eyes in pain

Days went like this with manik's desire to meet his mother increased with the passage of time......although he was calling her daily but still his heart wasnt at peace.....he wanted to feel her presence and that made him go to his father's house forgetting how he vowed to himself to never even see that place again but love for his mother overcame everything.......as he stood infront of gate of house he rubbed his hands in nervousness and pressed the bell button wishing everything to go gud.....his every cell of body prayed that he dont have to face agha jaan .....abhi opened the door and the click sound brought him out of his thoughts.....manik smiled nervously while on the other hand abhi just engulfed him in a tight hug

Kaise ho he said as he kissed manik's hair like a father

Mein theek he said resting his head on abhi's shoulder getting the positive energy from him....he smiled as abhi kept ruffling his hairs

Maa se milna hai manik said parting away and abhi took a side making way for manik to enter but manik stayed rooted to his place

Can she plzz come here....I just wanna see her he wasn't ready to enter at his father's house from where he was kicked out without any mercy

Ajao manik....agha jaan is not at home abhi insisted as it pricked his heart seeing him denying to step into a house from where he spent his whole life

Nhi bhai plzz...I dont wanna come manik said as he was hesitant to accept the offer

Okay mein maa ko leke ata hn abhi said knowing manik wont change his mind as he didnt forget that humilation and few minutes later abhi came with mukti

Maa ke liye hi ajao manik....she is too weak mukti said and manik agreed...the first step inside his house felt like a slap on his self respect.......as he reached at the mid of porch he stopped and all those scenes roamed infront of his eyes........his eyes flickered with pain but within seconds he maintained a stern face and hanging his head low he entered inside the lounge and then to his mother's room

As soon as he entered he saw nyonika sitting on bed.....she tried to get up seeing him but manik took hurried steps as he said

Maa he warned her to not move and she smiled at his concern.......he bent down and hugged nyonika tight who held his face....she kissed his face and then palmed his face who smiled at her getting her warmth.....

Tm theek ho na she said with motherly concern and manik nodded as he blinked his eyes in yes

Sach keh rhe ho she asked again as her thumb pads moved to caress his cheeks

Mein theek hn aapne dekhe Kia haal Kia Hua apna he scolded looking at her and she made a face

Maa na bno mere she knew he would start lecturing her how to take proper care of herself and she was in no mood of spending that small amount of time in those useless talks.....manik smiled as he scratched his head looking at her with love and then all of sudden he raised his hands in air and grabbed hers one by one....holding her hands in between his masculine hands he bent down and kissed the dorsum of hand and touched them with his eyes in love and respect.....nyonika's eyes watered at his act and manik saw it as he was getting back into his position

Maa I want this meeting to be full of happy memories so that I can relish these moments until our next meeting he said as he rested his head on her shoulder and she ruffled his hair lovingly......

Idhar ao nyonika said as she patted on her lap and manik happily placed his head there....

Tm khana to shi se khate ho na....khayal bhi nhi rkhte apna nyonika said moving hand in his hair

Maa I specially dressed well so that u dont worry about me...aap ko abhi bhi lg rha ke mein khayal nhi rkh rha apna he said making a face and nyonika smiled as she slapped his forehead

Maa hn tmhare.....laadley ho tm mere and now I have to wait for days or weeks to see ur face...kese fikar na karo tmhare nyonika said and her face depicted pain

Bas kuch time aur....mera career bn jaye aur phir mein aapko aapke shohar ke ghar se le jao ga manik said in teasing tone knowing how family oriented she was and she would never ever want to leave her home

Fazool mat bola karo she scolded him and he laughed bas maa PTA chal gya kisse zayda pyaar hai aapko he faked sadness and nyonika laughed very well knowing his dramas

Maa ki jaan she said and kissed his head top.....manik smiled as he took manik's hand placing it on his chest as he closed his eyes feeling immense pleasure....they were enjoying their time when mukti and abhi entered with mukti dragging the trolley of food with her

Chalo manik get ready....aaj tmne ye Sara  khana kha kar Jana hai mukti said as she started arranging table with a smile on her face with abhi helping her but manik didnt react.....he kept lying on his mother's lap

Ajao manik....maa ne ye kebab khud bnaye the mukti took plate from the table forwarding it to him as he didnt move an inch from bed.....

Bhabhi m full.......sorry I wont eat anything he said not even looking at the table as he didnt want to eat sth from his father's home who had thrown him out of house

I cant believe u r saying that u r full abhi joked knowing how big food lover he was while manik just smiled but it was a faint one.....they all could sensed it

Manik what happened....why ain't u eating anything nyonika asked with concern

Maa plzz I came only to meet u.....mene nhi khana kuch he said in firm tone as he didnt meet gaze with any of them

Tm agha jaan ki waja se hme hurt kar rhe ho abhi said

Bhai yaar.....mera shi mein dil nhi....mein khana kha ke aya tha he said looking at abhi who just stared back at manik

Kha lo manik nyonika said and manik was about to say sth when she said

Its an order.....mjhe dukh hoga agar mere baat na mane tm ne nyonika said knowing he could never deny her and manik just tched as he took plate from mukti.....taking a bite he said grumpily

Sometimes ur husband's soul comes in u...... abhi laughed while nyonika just forced him to eat more...they all were chatting when manik got up and said

Arey yaar wait....maa I bought sth for u he rolled on the bed to grab shopping bag from other side of bed and nyonika's eyes twinkled at his words....he unboxed the saree and taking it in his hands he forwarded it to nyonika who had a bright smile on her face....she took it from him and as she traced her fingers on it......few silent tears left her eyes as her heart overwhelmed with happiness.......

I know itna achaw nhi hai

Bass karo she scolded taking him in a tight hug

It's the most precious gift I have ever received she said and manik smiled brightly feeling relaxed....all his tensions flew away the moment he heard his mother's words......

Where's my gift mukti asked with arms akimbo and a frown on her face

Konsa gift....btw u guys have to gift me a neice or nephew...ye to bhool hi gye aap log manik rolled his eyes at his bhai bhabhi and mukti turned red at his statement

Maa aap kehti kyon nhi kuch he turned his head to look at nyonika who was fully convinced with what manik was saying

U have any shame manik abhi said as manik saw him coming towards him.....twisting his ear he asked to which manik replied

No...sare to aapko de di hai he joked and abhi just smacked his head playfully

I think I should go now he said getting up from bed and it made nyonika sad all of sudden......

Maa I will come again....wese bhi these small meetings are more fun he said and she just didnt buy it

Ruk jao manik the mother inside her wasnt ready to let him go

Just give me a call whenever ur husband is not at home and I will come to pick u  he said winking at her making it look like a date offer and nyonika smiled at his choice of words....chuckling he bent down encircling his hands around nyonika's neck and then he gave her a goodbye kiss on her forehead

He then hugged abhi and moved towards mukti whose cheeks were still pink as she was blushing

Achaw bhabhi ye bhai ke samne sharmana he teased her again making abhi grab his neck from back as he punched him 3 times in a row

Okay okay m sorry he said struggling to get his neck out of abhi's grip

I was short of money actually he said to mukti telling her the reason of not bringing gift for her

It's okay......ur visit was itself a gift for us she said in loving tone...she always adored him as her little brother

I will definitely bring sth next time.....but plzzz I wanna shop for ur baby too he pleaded like a child stuck on one thing only........like this the sun settled under the deep covers of darkness with their laughter echoing in the house but the silence engulfed it as soon as manik stepped out of the house........nyonika felt it really hard as her lips curved down while abhi just side hugged her and she wept considering how helpless they were while on the other side manik who was at the end of street turned to take a last look at the house which he used to call as his home......he kept staring at it but then turned around sighing heavily knowing that staring like that wasnt gonna help anyways

So that's it....I tried to write gud...do tell me whether I succeeded in that or not
