Hands thrusted in his pockets manik was going back to flat after a hectic day at work......dragging himself on the way back with his eyes hodded with sleep and tiresome he looked around in search of some food stall or something to satisfy his appetite.....he only had one egg with bread and now the clock had struck 10 and his stomach was growling in hunger.......nearby  a fast food franchise was a small food stall.....he placed his order of anday wala burger.....sitting on nearby chair he started tapping on table waiting for his food anxiously.....while on the other side aryaman who was passing nearby saw manik and went towards him

Heyyy manik how r u he exclaimed in gud mood completely enjoying the sudden meeting

Tm yahan he asked manik as seeing him sitting on a dhabba was a shock to him cuz from soha he came to know how choosy and gud food lover he was....and also he had never seen him on such ordinary places

Yes...I was just going home now he shrugged ignoring his question about his presence there and to escape more such questions manik turned back thinking to leave without waiting for his order anymore

Manik aryaman called as he went 2 3 steps away from him soha has told me everything He said grabbing his hand and manik just looked down....seeing him sad aryaman patted his shoulder and said chalo ghar chalte hai dragging manik towards his car he said and manik stopped walking nhi bhai aap jaye....m also tired he said as he didnt want to go to soha's house

Aree yaar chal to shi without listening to manik's continuous refusal he dragged him to car and drove towards his home.....

Chalo tm andar...m just coming pulling car keys he said and manik just shook his head b4 coming out.....he pressed the bell Waiting for soha to come and open the door...meanwhile nandini who was making tortillas in kitchen came out to open the door as soha wasnt feeling well......she looked at her condition...hair strands out of the grip of pony with some flour on her clothes but thinking that it would be aryaman made her feel comfortable as she opened the door

Hello she greeted the person on door with a smile and manik who had his head lowered raised his head shocked as the voice sounded familiar but it wasn't of soha's

Tm his shock voice came out seeing her infront of him

Tm yahan Kia kar rhe ho she said in anger embarrassed at her condition and that too infront of him

Mjhe choro....apna btao bhai's princess he taunted referring to her talks when she used to say that she was her brother's princess wese tm se behtar mere ghar kaam karne wale maasi thi he added fuel to fire

Tm she got angry at his remarks...pointing finger at him she took a step towards him but b4 she could say something aryaman came

U both r still standing here wondering he said and Nandini's nose flared in anger as she stopped herself from saying anything while manik had an amusing smile on his face

Manik meet my sister nandini engulfing nandini in side hug aryaman said and manik like a gentleman passed her a smile

And nandini he is manik....soha's brother he introduced both of them

Bhai ye yahan kyon aya hai glaring at manik's back she whispered not liking his presence at her home

Nandini bache very bad aryaman scolded her and she made a puppy face

Bhai  she mumbled in weak tone and aryaman sushed her by saying

Baby he is soha's brother...we have to think of her happiness too he said and nandini whispered sorry feeling embarrassed at her words

While on the other hand soha came out hearing some noise.....spotting manik in the lounge she ran towards him with excitement

Manik....what a pleasant surprise she hugged him and kissed his cheek

Thank ur husband for this he said patting her shoulder as they both sat on a sofa I didn't want to come but he dragged me here  he informed further and soha looked at her husband with love and adoration in her eyes....her eyes thanking him for this act as she knew raj had thrown manik out of his house

Soha first give him something to eat aryaman intervened as he knew manik was hungry and dinner was served soon....while eating soha asked manik about how it happened and where he was living these days......they had dinner and in between the conversation soha and aryaman convinced him to stay with them until he doesnt find a residence of himself...soon they all retired to room

Next day

Soha yaar ab le bhi ao nashta manik who was tapping fingers on table shouted from living room as he was getting late....he wanted to try his luck again in acting as a person had promised to give him a small role in film and he was happy in that too but  his sister was busy in God know's which task and also wasnt letting him go without having breakfast

Awaaragardi karne hi Jana hai thora late chale Jana came Nandini's taunting voice who entered the hall hearing his words and manik stiffened at her words....it made him remember his father who used to insult him in the same way but then he composed himself and turned his head with a smile on his face

Their is too much dirt.....clean it properly he mocked her yesterday's condition referring her as a maid and she fumed in anger

Tm she pointed her finger at him

Yes mein he smiled adding much to her frustration

Bs karo I know m handsome but kitna ghoorna hai he taunted the way she was unknowingly staring at hi. in effort to form an answer and she let out a frustated breath

Shutup...bandar ho pure she stomped her foot in anger and left while manik chuckled at her...on the other hand soha heard her last words and came fuming in anger

Dfa karo....she is like this angry at nandini for behaving like that with her brother and then she started mourning over how difficult it was for her to live with nandini and how she was bearing nandini

Scene change

Manik was at some shooting venue hoping to shoot a small scene in a film which director's PA (ajay) had agreed for....as they entered the venue manik saw director busy in getting the leads ready for shoot

Hello sir came manik's excited voice but in return he got weird looks by the director

Who is he...ise kisne aane dia andar came his annoyed voice which startled manik a bit as he was expecting some gud response but the exact opposite was happening

Sir he is that guy...the one I told u about his PA said in buttering tone and still his expressions weren't welcoming

Ok le jao abhi ye scene shoot kar le....phir dekhte hai he said and without even glancing at manik went away while manik looked at him not liking the way he behaved.....ajay sensed it and patted manik's shoulder

These famous directors are like this...dont worry he said and went away guiding manik to do some tasks

The whole day went like that with manik hoping that his turn to shoot would come soon....that the director would spare 5 minutes to check his talent but it didnt happen instead everyone thought of him as a worker as the senior actors kept calling him to do small chores of them like bringing water for them....putting their phones on charger....taking care of their things and it was frustrating manik to no end

Subha se wait kar rha hn...when will my scene come he shouted angrily slamming his hand on table and silence fell over for a moment

Noone told u to wait the director gave him cold reply which infuriated him further as he went to ajay and asked holding his collar.....it was frustration of months which was coming out

Mjhe yahan zaleel hone ke liye bulaya tha tune he shook him by holding his collars and ajay just looked at him unable to find an answer....meanwhile director's annoyed voice solved his problem

Ajay....just take him out of here he didnt want to see manik even for a single minute anymore....taking him to a side ajay tried to calm him

Its okay.....the start is like this always

To hell with ur start and this crap..m going he growled in anger and ajay also got angry

People like u can never be successful....u wont become a big actor ever....ajay spatted in anger and manik's face turned red as he walked away.....his heart aching at the last sentence he heard....
