Harry sat shaking his head. It was his fault. "We have to do something!"

"And we are doing all we can, Harry."

"It's not enough. Ed is somewhere with them!" Harry argued back to his dad. They have been arguing for the past half an hour, it wasn’t going anywhere.

“That's enough,” Lily shouted with tears running down her face. “Go to your room, now!”

Harry appeared shocked and then huffed, turning to run up to his room. Slamming the door Harry fell onto his bed, angry tears falling down. He pulled out the crinkled letter one that he didn’t tell his parents.

My Boy,

If you hadn't left when you did, we wouldn’t resort to this. Your brother is safe as long as you get yourself here to fulfill your destiny.

We need you, you're our only hope.

Harry ripped off his tears, he had to go. It was him who started all of this. Suddenly there was a knock on  his door, he flicked hand and the door opened reveling his brother and sister. Both had blotchy faces and tired eyes. He has to be the big brother  right now planning would have to wait.

“Come in you too.” He told them and the youngest Potter was the first to make it to Harry and his bed.

“Will Ed be okay?”

“Yes,” he told her.

“How do you know?”

Harry looked at Damian “I made a promise to all of you.”

“Are you leaving?”

“I don’t want you to leave!” Alize exclaimed, holding Harry tighter.

He pushed her as more tears fell from her hazel eyes, “I am not living right now.” He looked up to Damian “mot yet anyway.”

The three stayed silent sitting together hoping that Ed would be fine. “Come on, let's try to get some rest.”

Carrying Alize over to the top of the bed moving the sheets. All three Potter children cot under the covers taking comfort from each other.

“Promise me you’ll both come home.”

Harry looked up to his ceiling in the dark room, he whispered back, “I plan too.”

The sun came up the next day, the three all woke up in silence they remembered yesterday. Ed was still gone.  They made it down to the kitchen seeing many people from their dads work milling around.

It has been officially 24-hours since they took Ed. Harry sat with Damian as Alize went to their mom. They all had breakfast in silence listening in on the whispers in the other room. It made Harry all the more sure that he had to go. He knew it was magic in order to protect himself, he just didn’t know what to prepare for.

As both Lily and James were preoccupied with the Aurors Harry was in his room packing. He was at his desk looking over his journal, going over his pan. He got his money for the tickets, he wrote everything he knew about the places that would be safe.

Pausing he glanced over to his door as he sensed someone trying to come in, a second later the door opened. Sighing he saw it was just Damian. Harry put his journal into his bag.

“So this is it.”

Harry nodded, “I’ll be gone shortly. I plan to stop at Thiego’s.”

Damian was silent talking in Harry’s room, “I really don’t want you to go.”

Harry grimaced, Damian was truly scared. “I made a promise. I am sticking to it.”

“Promise you will worry about yourself too.”

“I will try my best”

“Here if you're going to a dangerous position I want you to have this.” Harry looked down at his brother's hand, it was one of Harry’s first charmed necklaces. It would heat up when danger is near.

He raised his hand letting Damian place it into his hand. “Come home with Ed, not just Ed. But you too.”
Silently they shared a tight hug “I love you.” Harry whispered, which was echoed back from Damian. Once they pulled apart Harry watched his brother go towards the door to the hallway. “I’ll keep mom and dad busy for as long as I can.”

Harry nodded as Damian closed the door, he then turned around laying out his letter and the one that was addressed to him. So when his parents do realize he’s gone they have something to explain his reasoning even though he will definitely be grounded for a long while after he gets back.

Checking over his room once more Harry opened his balcony door and turned out his lights. After closing the balcony door he climbed down the side of the house but the vines. Once he got to the forest line he took one more look at his home and turned heading for his first stop.
