•Husky's POV•

I felt bad for that Adam kid. No one in the group liked him. Except for me. I never showed it, but I wanted to be friends with him. He looked like he needed a friend, because he seemed so depressed.

. . .

One day I finally went up and talked to him. "Hey. Adam, right?" I asked him. He slowly nodded his head.

"Are you okay? Again, another nod.

"P-Please don't hurt me..." He said almost inaudible.

"Dude, it's alright. I'm not like Ty and the others. You can trust me."

"Th-thank you... What's your name?"

"It's fine buddy! My name's Quentin, but you can call me Husky if you want! Hey, do you want to come over to my house later? We can hang out and get to know each other better!"

"Yes please. Thank you so much H-Husky!"

He came over to me and hugged me, almost like he really liked me. Strangely, I hugged him back, just like he hugged me. ((Fakh this crap! This is going to have some bootiful Skykippz!!)

After chatting for a few minutes, we decide to trade phone numbers.

•Adam's POV•

Husky is really nice to me! Not many people ever have. Not even my parents. They abused me when I was a child, then left me when I stopped emotion.

I've been living in a small, and I mean really small, apartment building. I have a friend who lives with me too! His name is Budder. He's a Golden Retriever. I found him on the street one day, and decided to take him in. We've been friends for about 4 years.

Some days, I think Budder can understand me. I tell him things that happen, and he reacts. I wonder if Husky will let me bring him over. Budder will be proud that I made a new friend!

-Time Skip to the end of the school day-

I waited for Husky outside of the doors (at school). I played with my amulet. It was the last thing my grandmother gave me before she left.

I finally see Husky trailing along with the rest of 'The Crew'. He waves me over.

Out of the corner of my eye, I see Ty shoot a strange glance at me. Almost like he wanted me to leave. I figured I should. Husky looked too busy with them anyway.

I started my walk home. About halfway there, I feel a slight buzzing in my pocket.

I investigate the buzzing; it's my phone. I pull it out and see that Husky texted me.

'Hey Adam! Where'd you go?'

'I had something come up. Can I come over later tonight?' I couldn't let him know about Ty. Husky idolized Ty!

'Sure!'

'One more thing. I know it sounds weird, but can I bring my dog over? He's really nice :)'

'Yeah dood! I love doggies!!'

'Yay! Thanks!!!'

'No prob man'

When I looked up, I was already at my apartment. I ran up the stairs and went to my place. I then unlocked the door to see Budder sit in his usual spot.

I ran over to Budder and hugged him really tight. Then I started crying happy tears into his fur. So soft... I thought.

Before long, I was asleep on Budder....

I have a lot to say guys. First off, I'm so sorry I haven't updated this. I just haven't had the time. Then, I got writer's block for it. Second, I'll try to update this a lot more! I get out school June 3rd. Third, thank you all so much for yelling at me in the comments. I think that was my inspiration to write more! Fourth, thank you sooooooo much for 100 reads on this! I love each and every one of you!
