Not long Shelley had all of the Wannabes on board with her fan club idea. Yeji, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, Yuna, & Lia were more than happy to discuss things with her.

            I was at Shelley first fan club mixer for the Wannabes. The girls each seemed to be entertaining a part of the room while Kyle filmed everything.

                       I made my way over to speak to Ryujin. This wasn't going to be hard was it ? She was just a girl who happened to be really popular. "Ryujin, can I have a word ?" She pulled me to the side. "You're Shelley & Kyle' friend, right ? What's up ?"

        I gave a smile. "Any particular reason you guys enjoy the spotlight ? Is ruling the school necessary ?" Ryujin responded very calculated. Almost like she anticipated a question like mine. "Nonsense. My friends & I just enjoy each other' company."

            So I excused myself & went to ask Yeji. Getting uer to talk with me was hard. Kyle kept insisting that he needed kore shots of Yeji. "What's up ?" She was so chill. I didn't know what to expect. "How does it feel ? Pretending on such a big scale ?"

                          Her face contorted in horror. "Pretending ? We aren't pretending. My friends & I are sincere. We just are having fun & enjoying life. It's not our faults you're bitter." I scoffed. I wasn't about to let her insult me, "I'm not bitter. You & your friends are using your popularity to your own advantages."

           It happened way to fast. I splashed a glass of punch in Yeji. Shelley quickly pulled me outside while the other Wannabes went to help Yeji freshen up. "Shelley--" I barely got a word in. Shelley was really angry with me. "No. Not again. Let me say what I need to."

          I was not prepared to lose. How was I supposed to know I'd react thag way ? I never intended for that to happen at all. "Shelley--" She cut me off again. "You've made a fool out of Yeji & out of me. This will be the first & last time that you do."

                      "Are you breaking up with me, Shelley ?" Her eyes will filled with tears. Clearly she didn't want to do this. Shelley rolled her eyes. "If that is what you want to call it. Stay away from the Wannabes, alright ? I can't afford you screwing uo my only chance for them to like me."

     Next thing I know she put me in a cab to go home. I just lost my best friend.
