Normani's P.O.V

I woke up with a pounding headache, not knowing where I was. I sat up and looked around a bit before I stood and walked around the house. I was trying to see if I remember coming here before. I checked my phone and Keke had called me like a thousand times. I called her back and she picked up instantly.

"Girl where are you? I stayed the night at your place thinking you were gonna come home last night."

"I'm-"

I heard a door open and Katherine walked into the living room with a gray tank top and pajama shorts on.

"Hey Mani. Sleep well?"

"Mani girl, who the fuck is that?"

"It's just Kath. She's Lisa's older sister."

"Why are you at her house?"

"I came here with Lisa, I think. And they share a house, I suppose."

"Okay well I have to go home bestfriend."

"Just lock my door on the way out. I have a key."

"And you will tell me all about this date later, right?"

"Yes I will. Bye."

I hung up and looked up to see Katherine wasn't standing by me anymore. I heard a noise in the kitchen so I went in there.

"What happened to me last night?" I asked her.

"Well, Lisa bought you home, you were drunk and kept trying to sleep with her but she said she wouldn't. You got upset and tried to leave but you passed out in Christina's arms as she was coming up the porch steps. You want some pancakes?"

"Wow. I am so embarrassed. I tried to force her to sleep with me? Omg who does that?"

"You apparently."

"Wow, you really know how to cheer a girl up, Kath."

"I'm sorry. Uhm, did you have fun with me when we went to that cafe?"

"Yeah I guess I did. Why?"

"Just asking."

A still tired Lisa walked into the kitchen mumbling something under her breath.

"Lisa, I'm really sorry about what happened last night."

"Oh, it's alright. As long as you had fun."

Christina walked into the kitchen but stopped as soon as she saw me.

"Normani, I thought you had left?"

"Nope. I was just about to but Katherine asked me if I wanted some breakfast."

"Hey Lisa, and Kath can I talk to you two in the living room?" asked Christina.

Katherine shrugged and Lisa slowly walked into the living room. I kinked an eyebrow and followed, careful not to let them see me.

"So you two really are going all out on this bet huh? Lisa you got her drunk? And Kath you wanna make her breakfast and shit?"

"Look, fuck the bet okay? I don't wanna do it anymore," Lisa stated sadly. What bet? What are they talking about?

"And Christina you're the one who was all into it, what changed your mind?" Katherine snapped.

"Look, It's one thing to take her on dates to try and woo her but to get her drunk and have her fall asleep on our couch, is another."

"Fuck the damn bet, I'm over it," Lisa said again.

"Oh what, so you guys give up?" Katherine asked.

"I didn't say I gave up, I said that you two were taking it too far, letting a woman we barely even know sleep on our couch."

"I give up man. I feel bad and I don't know why. I never feel bad for doing this type of stuff so I don't know what it is now," Lisa told them.

"I feel as if we are using her but I also feel that $2,000 dollars is a lot of money," Katherine whispered. Well she tried to whisper but I heard her.

When I walked into the living room, they all looked shocked.

"Hey Man-"

"Don't hey Mani me, Katherine. What the fuck is going on here?"

"Look, I can explain everything," said Christina.

"Well explain then!" Lisa spoke before Christina could say anything.

"We kinda made a bet that whoever could get you to date them first, got $1,000 dollars from the other two," Lisa shamefully hung her head, looking down at her feet.

Katherine looked at me with those sad puppy dog eyes like she was on the verge of tears. Christina looked pissed off, as if she had the right to be.

"You fucking played me like a game? For money? Yall are just like Zendaya, only care about money and fortune. Katherine I thought you were different, sweet and polite. But you're just a snake! Lisa, I knew you were a thot, but I didn't know you were a a fucking asshole! And Christina, you look evil as shit so I have you the benefit of the doubt and tried to be your friend. But fuck all of yall, go rot in hell."

I tried to leave but Katherine stood in my way.

"Normani it's really not all that bad. We all actually really like you."

"Move out of the way you lying ass skyscraper, I don't have the energy to deal with you."

"Normani please don't leave yet, we realize that what we did was stupid and we never-"

"Meant for me to find out? Yeah I know," I said, cutting Christina off.

"Can we still represent you in court?" asked Katherine.

"Omg leave her alone and let her leave already Kath," Lisa said, obviously annoyed.

"Well since all of you are great liars, then yes you can still represent me in court. And on top of that, you're the cheapest lawyers I could find. Outside of business, don't try to contact me okay?"

"But-" Christina started.

"No! That's enough alright? And go check your pancakes, they're burning."

I walked out of the house on the verge of tears. Why would they just lie to me like that?

Katherine's P.O.V

I ran into the kitchen and turned the stove off before I sat down in a chair and put my head in my hands. My sister's walked in and sat down too, but said nothing.

"We fucked up," Lisa burst out.

"Yeah, really bad. I actually liked her," Christina said sadly.

"Too late to go back now. Its going to be so awkward when we have to be around each other again," I shook my head.

I heard sniffling and looked up at Lisa who had tears sliding down her face.

"What the hell? Lisa are you crying?"

"Yeah. I can't help it. I just now realized that I fucking suck and don't deserve everything I have. Anytime I try to get close to someone, I end up fucking up and they leave!"

"We all fucked up Lisa. We all made a bet," Christina stated.

"Well, I can't lie, I really care about the woman too, even though I've only known her for a short time," I said.

"Me too. We have to do something to make this right," Christina suggested.

"Like what?" Lisa said through sobs.

"Like not only winning that case for her, but getting her half of the company back as well."
