2 DAYS LATER

MORNING

"Uncle, we should return now. We are here for a long time."

Jin Ling said to his uncle. When he saw his uncle gave no reaction, he continued,

"Uncle, you see, we have a lot of work back in Jiang Sect, you can't neglect it and your duties now."

Truth to be told, Jin Ling just wanted to leave the Lan Clan of Gusu and was making up all the excuses. He wanted to go back for a specific someone, because he, without his own will, was constantly getting jealous and he was not liking it.

Unaware of the hidden truth and also the fact that he had to go to Lotus Pier, Jiang Cheng sighed and said,

"Hm-mm okay, we will leave tomorrow."

He looked at his nephew who had the expression that was pleading him to leave that very day. However, Jiang Cheng wanted to spend some time with his newly found lover, so he was not buying his nephew's look. Remembering about his Lan Xi Chen, a smile spread all over the cocky and sassy guy.

It was Jin Ling's turn to sigh at his uncle's behavior. In all reality, he was happy, very happy for both of his uncles. Although it was a bit weird to see his uncle having a smile and a sweet expression on the usually angry and irritated face, maybe Lan Xi Chen has spoiled/changed him for good. Taking a deep breath, he left his uncle to be in his own chain of thoughts.

Jin Ling thought of going to his room to have some rest. The little trouble lover was exhausted. He was going towards his room when he saw Lan Jing Yi whose arms were around Lan Si Zhui's shoulder, coming towards him. He felt that again, experiencing that same tinge of feeling in his stomach that made him want to hurt someone.

He thought of ignoring them but Lan Si Zhui was not taking it and stopped him. He looked around for help but his other uncle, Wei Wu Xian just waved at him with a weird smirk on his face, who was walking away with his husband. Jin Ling could swear, he just wanted to fall in a pit hole. When Lan Jing Yi spoke.

"Where are you going now?"

Lan Si Zhui continued,

"If you are not busy, you can come with us. We are going to feed the rabbits."

He said while raising the basket that Jin Ling had no idea from where it came. The Gusu people wear so many layers of cloth that maybe even a body could be hidden in it, was the thought of Jin Ling. Although he wanted to reject but thought otherwise.

"Sure."

He would be returning the next day so there was no way he would miss the last day by sulking and sleeping in the room. He smiled at them and was following them when he heard someone barking, they turned to see-

It was none other than Fairy who was wagging his tail. Jin Ling smiled at him, a genuine smile and opened his arms. Fairy came running, making Jin Ling fall to the ground, so as to Jin Ling was of Fairy's level. Jin Ling was patting Fairy's head, was cuddling with him, was kissing him and was soon covered with dust.

Lan Jing Yi was laughing and Lan Si Zhui had a smile on his face and was shaking his head. He then extended his hand when he saw Jin Ling was now lying on the ground with Fairy beside him. Jin Ling gladly took his hand and got up. Both "Queen" and the Fairy then followed the two white clothed boys.

Jin Ling from the start has muttered up only one emotion that he could use to hide all other emotions, that was anger, and different stages of anger. Well, thanks to the person who raised him, all praise to Jiang Cheng, who himself did not know any feelings.

----RABBIT ZONE----

Even when they reached the rabbit zone, Jin Ling was having only that one expression on his face. Lan Jing Yi picked up a rabbit, followed by Lan Si Zhui who took out a carrot from his basket. When Jin Ling saw Lan Si Zhui how he was feeding the rabbits, a smile unconsciously formed all over Jin Ling's face.

However when he saw how Lan Si Zhui and Lan Jing Yi looked together, he could not help but wonder how good of a couple they would become and also imagined how he and Lan Si Zhui would look as a couple. Jin Ling slowly realized he had fallen in a more dipper pit. He has fallen in love with Lan Si Zhui.

As realization came to him, everything around him started to appear slow motion. He heard Lan Si Zhui calling his name, holding a carrot up for him to feed the rabbit. However, he could not concentrate on anything, slowly slowly everything started becoming black.

'Maybe now I can meet my parents,' was the last thought of Jin Ling before he collapsed.

Well, was about to collapse if not Lan Si Zhui held him like he was holding Jin Ling now. Lan Jing Yi set the rabbit down and soon helped Lan Si Zhui to carry Jin Ling. They started walking towards Lan Si Zhui's room with Lan Si Zhui carrying Jin Ling, bridal style, followed by Lan Jing Yi.

Jin Ling woke up from the ground and noticed everything was too black when he saw a white light coming towards him. The white light soon changed into two figures, they were none other than his parents, Jiang Yan Li and Jin Zi Xuan. Jiang Yan Li opened her arms for her son to enter. Jin Ling ended up hugging his mother so tightly with his father patting his head.

Jin Ling after a long time, cried holding his parents tightly. Jiang Yan Li would give him kisses all over his face and Jin Zi Xuan would give him light pecks on his head occasionally. They were just as happy to meet their son as Jin Ling was happy to finally meet them.

'Am I gonna stay with you from now on?'

Jin Ling asked when all his tears had dried up and no water was left to fall. Both of them gave each other a small smile before Jin Zi Xuan began,

'As much as I want to spend time with you, it is not your time yet.'

Jiang Yan Li continued,

'You have to muster up courage and confess your love to that person.'

She finishes it off with a big proud smile which was soon joined by her husband.

'But you guys also died-I also want- to be - with you guys-I don't wanna go.'

Jin Ling tried to convince them but they wanted the best for their son. They sat down on the ground and Jin Ling soon followed them. Jiang Yan Li patted her lap as if to say to lie there. On understanding, Jin Ling kept his head on his mother's lap with his hand safely secured with his father's who was holding the little hand with his big hand.

Jiang Yan Li while stroking her son's hair, told him a story, a story of two boys who were madly in love with each other. In spite of all the odds, by the end of the story, they were happily married together.

'Will I also be able to be with Lan Si Zhui one day?'

Jin Ling thought.

'Of course you're gonna be with him and one day marry him and have children with him. We wanna be grandparents and will give our blessings from above.'

Jiang Yan Li could not help but chuckle a little at what his husband said.

'Do you still wanna not go back?'

Jiang Yan Li asked, still smiling.

'I want to go back.'

Jin Ling said and got up, followed by the rest. They hugged him one last time and kissed him one last time.

'Go to that person, son and remember don't think of coming up here any time soon, you have enough time.'

Jin Zi Xuan said before he wrapped his hand around his wife's waist and disappeared to where they came from.

"Wake up, Jin Ling, please wake up."

Jin Ling heard some voices which he immediately recognized as Lan Si Zhui's voice. It was followed by his two uncles, Fairy's bark.

Jiang Cheng, "I knew it, you love all sorts of trouble. But if you don't wake up now, I am gonna punish you myself."

He could hear sobbing and Lan Xi Chen trying to calm his uncle down.

Wei Wu Xian, "Hey kiddo, we don't have the best of memories, I can hardly say we even have any moments together. But for the past month, the time we have known each other, you are a nice kid, like your mother although you have got a temper of both your father and mother, you have been raised well. I could not even properly apologize for what I said that day. Please wake up."

He could not understand what happened to Wei Wu Xian after that. He could only hear Fairy's barking, who was on the left side of him.

"BARK BARK BARK BARK"

"I think it will be better if you all go to your rooms and rest and let him rest as well."

Was that Lan Qi Ren's voice? Jin Ling wanted to open his eyes and see who they are but he could not bring himself to do that. He heard some noises before he heard Lan Si Zhui spoke up,

"I will stay here."

'No one's gonna object to that?'

Jin Ling thought.

'Please let him stay.'

He thought again but when he heard a small "ok" from his uncle, Wei Ying, he felt happy. He could hear Jiang Cheng telling Fairy to come with them but Fairy was just barking.

'Fairy wants to stay, can't you understand?'

Jin Ling thought when Lan Jing Yi said,

"I think Fairy also wants to stay."

It was soon silent again except for the occasional sobbing and the kisses that Lan Si Zhui was placing on Jin Ling's hand. Lan Si Zhui sighed and began,

"I don't know if you can hear or not. But, I want to say this, I like you, I truly do. At first, I thought you were some annoying little guy, you can't blame me for that, you proved that yourself every time we met. I slowly started to grow fond of you. I started noticing all your little behaviors, let it be being the annoying guy, sweet , caring everything. It might sound creepy but yeah." He started rubbing his neck before continuing. "When you cried holding that sword, I wanted nothing but to hug you and say, 'I am here, you are not alone.' But, I did not have the right that time. Some might think I am brave, but I am a coward, I could not tell you how much I love you. Love? This is what my feelings are for you. I love you, I want to spend my life with you, grow old with you. Please love, please wake up. Please, I am waiting for you."

The urge to open the eyes again hit Jin Ling hard. He was fighting it, he wanted to tell he heard Lan Si Zhui so he did what everyone would do, squeezed Lan Si Zhui's hand. Lan Si Zhui noticed it and could feel nothing but happy. Lan Si Zhui,

"Take your time love, I am waiting. I will always wait."

It's been one whole week since Jin Ling was unconscious. Wei Wu Xian and Lan Wang Ji, Jiang Cheng and Lan Xi Chen, Wen Ning and Nie Huai Sang, Lan Jing Yi, all took turns and stayed with Jin Ling although Lan Si Zhui had spent the most time. They always talk with him. Lan Wang Ji and Lan Xi Chen stay with their wives to give them support. Although Wen Ning, Nie Huai Sang and Lan Jing Yi had not spent so much time with Jin Ling but they all loved him nonetheless and spent time with him.

Fairy was always the first one to notice if any small changes were seen in Jin Ling. Lan Si Zhui would sing him a song or tell him stories or just sit there and wait for him to wake up. Everyone seemed to understand him so no one asked him any question.

"Wake up, please love, wake up, we all are waiting for you."

That thought made Jin Ling to force himself to open his eyes. Everything was too bright for him. Fairy started barking, catching everyone's attention. When everyone noticed that Jin Ling had opened his eyes, Lan Si Zhui hugged him, followed by the rest, well, except for Lan Qi Ren who still had that "no emotion" face.

"Water."

Jin Ling muttered, loud enough for Lan Si Zhui to hear who had already brought a cup of water near his face. Everyone set him free from the "free" hugs and let him drink some water. After he had finished, Jiang Cheng smacked his head.

"Ouch."

Jin Ling complained, loud enough for everyone to hear.

"That was for making me worry."

Jiang Cheng said without hesitation and was about to hit him again, lightly, when Lan Xi Chen stopped him by hugging him. Everyone started laughing when Wei Wu Xian said,

"Get yourself a room."

He said while already clinging to his husband's side and giving Lan Wang Ji a peck on his cheeks.

"Seems like we are not the only one who need a room."

Jiang Cheng retorted back to which Wei Wu Xian happily replied,

"That's the correct thing you have said so far, come on hubby lets go."

Wei Wu Xian who already knew Lan Si Zhui and Jin Ling might want to talk with each other, took his hubby, Lan Wang Ji and set off although that was only one-third of the reason and we all know what the real reason is.

Jiang Cheng kissed his nephew's forehead and left with his lover. Nie Huai Sang who was already tired and was literally supporting his body with his lover's let out a small yawn, smiling, Wen Ning, picked Nie Huai Sang up and carried him to their room. Before Lan Jing Yi could say anything, he noticed how the two were looking at each other.

He wanted to distract them but Fairy took hold of his cloth and pushed him outside, leaving the two to solve their own matters by themselves.

Jin Ling comfortably shifted in his bed and looked around him and realized it was Lan Si Zhui's room. He smiled but looked at Lan Si Zhui with a raised eyebrow. Lan Si Zhui returned it with a smile.

Jin Ling motioned Lan Si Zhui to come closer to him, Lan Si Zhui came closer and he then gave Lan Si Zhui a peck on his lips.

"I love you too."

Jin Ling smiled, Lan Si Zhui blushed thinking about all the things he had said and Jin Ling had heard. As if on cue, Jin Ling nodded. Lan Si Zhui got hold of Jin Ling's neck and kissed him. This was far more than just a kiss. A way to express your feelings. They gave every feeling, be it love, anger, jealousy, hurt, sadness, everything felt perfect. The kiss was perfect, the people kissing was perfect. Soon they were out of breath and pressed their foreheads together.

"I love you."

Lan Si Zhui confessed again. Jin Ling let out small adorable giggles and replied back,

"I love you too."

And gave him a small peck on the cheeks. Jin Ling patted the side of the bed and Lan Si Zhui got in. Jin Ling pushed him and fell on top of him and let out a small yawn.

"You are still sleepy?"

Lan Si Zhui asked chuckling, to which Jin Ling just nodded in reply. Jin Ling wrapped his hands around Lan Si Zhui and kept his head on Lan Si Zhui's chest, listening to his heart beat. He in return, wrapped his hands around Jin Ling's waist and they both cuddled themselves to sleep some more.

NEXT DAY

MORNING

---ASSEMBLY HALL---

Lan Si Zhui and Jin Ling walked into the assembly hall, holding hands. Except Lan Qi Ren, Lan Wang Ji, and all old members of Lan clan, everyone showed a happy expression, expressing their happiness for them.

"Are you two a thing now?"

Lan Jing Yi asked to which Lan Si Zhui kissed Jin Ling in reply and took their seats, sitting together for the first time.

"Okay, okay, time to eat."

Lan Qi Ren quickly announced before any other person could kiss their lover. Everyone chuckled by themselves and began eating.

"We have to go, big brother."

Nie Huai Sang said to his favorite brother, Wei Wu Xian. He had already stayed there so long, he looked at his lover, Wen Ning who was beside him and gave a little kiss on the cheek who smiled at him. The best Wei Wu Xian could do was hug his brother and tell him to stay healthy and visit him soon and he did. Nie Huai Sang and Wen Ning, along with his few members, left for Nie Sect after telling everyone their goodbyes.

"Uncle we still have to go."

Jin Ling told his uncle, Jiang Cheng. Jiang Cheng was a bit not impressed and said,

"You still want to go?"

"Come on, uncle, you still have your duties to follow."

Jin Ling retorted quickly. Wei Wu Xian who was along with Lan Wang Ji, Lan Xi Chen, Lan Si Zhui and Lan Jing Yi, watching them, asked Jin Ling

"Tell me the real reason."

Jin Ling gave him a big smile which matched his mother's before speaking,

"I want to show Lan Si Zhui our Jiang Sect. He agreed to come with me. Right?"

Jin Ling fondly looked at his lover and Lan Si Zhui said,

"Yes."

And remembered their conversation the night before.

NIGHT

"Please, Lan Si Zhui come with me, please na~"

Jin Ling requested him with his best puppy dog eyes which now matched with Fairy's eyes. Lan Si Zhui chuckled but still trying to reject it, he just wanted to tease him a little. He was liking the look on his face, it was not everyday you get to see such a face.

Jin Ling got more closer to him and began,

"Please *kiss* come *kiss* with *kiss* me *kiss*, please *kiss*."

He kissed everywhere on Lan Si Zhui's face but his lips.

"Are you coming *kiss* with me *kiss*, I can *kiss* be your personal *kiss* guide and show *kiss* you around."

Lan Si Zhui sighed and said,

"Okay, anything for you."

Jin Ling this time, gave him a full kiss on his lips. Lan Si Zhui asked for entrance to Jin Ling's mouth which Jin Ling lovingly granted. He then explored every corner of his love's mouth and let him do the same to him.

"You managed to make him agree?"

Lan Jing Yi asked, surprised.

"Yes."

Jin Ling replied and went to hug his lover who returned it back. Unwillingly, Jiang Cheng, Jin Ling, Lan Si Zhui and other Jiang members left for Jiang Sect only after Lan Xi Chen promised him he would come to visit Jiang Cheng and Lan Xi Chen show the proud love bite mark that Jiang Cheng gave him to display to all. Well, Lan Xi Chen was too shy to give Jiang Cheng one himself.

Wei Wu Xian and Lan Wang Ji were too tired to give any more tension to the world so they went to their room to rest and maybe to do something else.
