FIGHTING GROUND

Jiang Cheng and Nie Huai Sang reached there to see both Lan Xi Chen and Wen Ning present there. But they waited for the boys to finish the match. Jin Ling was the first to see them. He greeted,

"Good evening uncle."

Jiang Cheng just waved his unoccupied hand and smiled. He then removed his hand from Nie Huai Sang's shoulder and gave him a small nod. Nie Huai Sang returned it and went towards Wen Ning and Jiang Cheng towards Lan Xi Chen.

"Hey, Wen Ning."

Wen Ning turned to see Nie Huai Sang looking in his eyes, having an awkward smile. Wen Ning returned the smile with a whole and no awkward smile. Wen Ning stopped whatever he was doing and asked,

"Can I help you?"

"Hmm...yes...actually can you come with me for a second?"

Nie Huai Sang held his hand-fan on his face with his right hand and with his left hand, rubbed the back of his neck. Upon hearing Nie Huai Sang needed him or his help, Wen Ning started nodding his head. Only if he was a human, will his neck fall by now.

"Yes."

Wen Ning smiled and said. Nie Huai Sang then took hold of his hand and started going somewhere with him.

"So why did you pull me here?"

Wen Ning had started to become open around Nie Huai Sang and started talking more freely. After Nie Huai Sang's awkward level has gotten down, he thought of confessing what he actually wanted to say.

Nie Huai Sang has a feeling for Wen Ning which slowly turned into love. He actually started having a crush on Wen Ning from the time he saw Wen Ning practicing archery. He clearly remembered everything that happened that day.

Nie Huai Sang was freely roaming in the woods of Gusu Sect during his free time. When he heard someone shouting in joy. He then followed the voice and was shocked to see Wen Ning's archery skills.

He was so mesmerized when he stood there watching him. He was about to go there and praise him when Wei Wu Xian saw Wen Ning and praised him. He noticed how the usually shuttering and shy Wen Ning was so happy.

Although he then started having a crush on Wen Ning, he never got to tell him. The only time he muttered up some courage and wanted to tell Wen Ning about his little crush, his only elder brother Nie Ming Jue died. Or better say, murdered by Meng Yao.

He had to temporarily stop his feelings and find the murderer of his brother. When he got the news that Wen Ning had died, he was emotionally shattered. He advised Mo Xuan Yu and provided him all the things necessary for the ceremony.

Nie Huai Sang waited for Wei Wu Xian to come back and bring the love of his life back. He transformed himself into something completely different. A clever and intelligent guy, masked with a coward face to escape from the crowd. He just counted days for Wen Ning to come back and the perfect plan he needed to avenge his brother's death.

When Nie Huai Sang heard that Wen Ning had come back and had become the Ghost General. He did not care but when he wanted to go and meet him, he noticed how Wen Ning always follows Wei Wu Xian. Although he knew Wei Wu Xian loves Lan Wang Ji, he could not help but feel jealous.

That was when he knew he had completely fallen in love with Wen Ning. He calmed himself down and started suppressing his feelings for Wen Ning. He then started moving according to his plan, the perfect mastermind plan. Everything was going smoothly, Lan Wang Ji and Wei Wu Xian getting all the clues.

Even when Nie Huai Sang's plan succeeded and Meng Yao was killed, Wei Wu Xian kind of or fully caught him as the mastermind. He couldn't care less. He finally thought he had moved on from his love. With this thought in mind, he started ruling the Nie sect.

Years after his last meeting with Wen Ning when he saw Wen Ning at his favorite brother's wedding, he realized he had not yet gotten over from his first love. He then started trying ways of confessing his love but each time he failed. However, he made up his mind that today he would confess everything.

Wen Ning started waving his hand in front of Nie Huai Sang, in an attempt to bring his back to earth, which unfortunately did not work. Wen Ning sighed and shook Nie Huai Sang's shoulder. It worked and Nie Huai Sang finally escaped from his daydream.

"So?"

"I-I want to confess to you something."

"Hm?"

"I love you. I started having feelings for you when I saw your archery skills."

Wen Ning's smile grew much bigger but by the end, he blushed remembering that Nie Huai Sang actually was watching him and it was not his dream.

"I-I lo-love you too."

"You do?"

Nie Huai Sang never felt this happy, not even when he started his collections of fans. Wen Ning nodded his head and Nie Huai Sang hugged him tight. If Wen Ning was still a human, he would have been suffocating with the tight hug.

Wen Ning hugged back but softly. He did not want Nie Huai Sang to suffocate like he was doing. After Nie Huai Sang was satisfied with the hug, he retreated and asked Wen Ning,

" Will you become my boyfriend?"

"Only if you are my boyfriend too."

"I am."

It was a happy moment for both the new lovers. Nie Huai Sang could not help himself but kiss Wen Ning on the lip. It was supposed to be a soft, gentle kiss but it turned out to be a heated kiss, tongues involved. Can you blame them? They were in love for so long.

Yes, just like Nie Huai Sang, Wen Ning also loved him. At first, when Wen Ning saw him, Wen Ning was jealous about how freely he could talk, make jokes, the complete opposite of him. However when Wen Ning slowly started to know Nie Huai Sang, he could not help but start liking him.

When the liking turned love he did not know. He for some time, forgot about Nie Huai Sang when he was turned into a corpse and Wei Wu Xian helped him recover but he always knew he was missing something great. The second time when he met Nie Huai Sang after he turned into a corpse, he remembered everything about him.

When he saw Nie Huai Sang again in Wei Wu Xian's marriage, he could not help but feel happy. However now that Nie Huai Sang confessed his love for Wen Ning and asked him to be his boyfriend, he could not help but feel like the happiest person.

"You know, we could go and tell everyone. I want to tell everyone that you are booked."

Nie Huai Sang told him as Nie Huai Sang remembered how some girl followers were looking at Wen Ning. Wen Ning somehow understood and nodded to his lover as he kissed Nie Huai Sang's forehead and both got up.

Nie Huai Sang and Wen Ning then moved towards the fighting ground, holding hands. The moment they reached, they saw everyone present there. Nie Huai Sang could not help any more but literally shouted at them, telling about his lover and when he finished, he kissed his lover's lips fully.

They got congratulations from Lan Wang Ji, Lan Xi Chen, Lan Yuan, the limping Wei Wu Xian, Jiang Cheng, Jin Ling and everyone else.

That night, Wen Ning and Nie Huai Sang kissed a bit and cuddled each other to sleep. They forgot about everything else, it was just their night and no one could ruin it. They fell asleep in each other's arms.
