Chappie 3
Percy Jackson and Harry Potter were shocked into place, which doesn't happen very often. Three dreceane burst through the broken window, which was the property of a pretzel shop.
All was silent and still.
Then total chaos broke loose. Screams erupted and people ran around blindly, whipped into a frenzied panic. Trains where stopped, as passenger tried to climb aboard for safety.
"Blimey," Harry said, taking off his glasses for a moment, "is that a snake women?"
"You can see through the Mist?" Percy said, uncapping Riptide. Harry stumbled backward.
"You have a sword!?" Percy grinned.
"Yeah, and this is what I use it for." In two quick motions, he slashed the two dreceane into dust. A simple job compared to what he had to face with Geae. He scanned the pandemonium for the third dreceane.
Then, when he found it, his heart stopped. Positioned right over Harry was the third and final dreceane. Deja vu struck him as he thought of. Nico's final moments. Shaking, he hefted his sword to kill the dreceane. Harry immediately pulled out a... Pointed stick?
"Percy," he asked calmly, "what are you doing?"
"Harry stay still."
"I said, what are you doing!?" Percy had no choice. He couldn't let this end like it had for Nico. He threw his sword like javelin, disintegrating it. Golden monster dust sprinkled over Harry.
"It's called saving your life," Percy said, capping Riptide.
"Thanks," Harry breathed, trying to decide if what he just saw was real or not. Had that been really just turned into a sword? What were those things Percy had attacked?
"If you can see through the Mist, and a monster just attacked, well, I suggest we get to camp." He forgot all about visiting his mom.
"What about Ron, Ginny, and Hermione?" Harry asked. Percy looked sympathetically at the three. He took is sword out again.
"What is this?" He asked. All four took a step back again.
"A-a sword."
"Good, correct answer," Percy grinned, capping Riptide once more.
"Where are we going?" Ginny asked. Hermione looked at Percy skeptically.
"Camp Half-Blood."
The five set on their way, following Percy, wondering what they should do. If any of them were paying attention, they would've seen a girl with curly light blonde hair, step out of the wreckage of the pretzel shop with a bow poised. She scowled, and stomped on, following them.
Annabeth Chase was worried. Luke had been very vague on HOW he had gotten out of the Underworld. She knew he wasn't lying when he said he was with the good side now, but she had no way of knowing what other people would think.
So far everyone was fine and dandy with one of the heroes from the Titan War returning, but Annabeth was afraid that it was only a matter of time before someone stood up and started asking questions.
On the bright side, to take her mind off that debacle, Percy was headed up half-blood hill, with four new friends in tow. He's back early, Annabeth thought. Then she and Luke rushed to meet them.
"What are you doing here?" She asked.
"Found four kids, they can all see through the Mist."
"Are they all demigods?" Luke asked incredulously. Percy nodded.
"I'm pretty sure, yeah."
"Wait," the red-headed boy said, "Demi-whozits now?"
"Demigods, half mortal, half god."
"Harry," the calm girl with frizzy brown hair piped in, "tell these nice people we're not part god. And we can just be on our way."
"I-"
"Hey!" A new voice called. A girl with a bow and arrow made her way up half-blood hill. "It's not them who the dreceane was attacking. It was me."
"Who are you?"
"Alice Clark."
"That doesn't give me much detail to clear this up."
"Fine, Alice Clark, demigod daughter of Morpheus."
Percy and Annabeth seemed satisfied of the answer, and all the demigods turned to the Golden Trio plus Ginny.
"If you can see through the Mist and you're not demigods, what are you?"
Hey guys! I have been a bit procrastinating, when it comes to finishing this chapter and I am truly sorry.
Don't kill me!
Anywho, I need your honest opinion for this question:
Is it weird that I put my own characters in?
