Actual Final Chapter
Hermonie Granger was quite certain that they were in so much troubled. And this was the kind of trouble she wanted to avoids, not the trouble that usually ended in 'Oh, you broke over a hundred school rules? Two hundred points to Gryfindor.' No, now someone could actually kill them all because of the boy who was currently unconscious on the ground.
A small patch of blood smeared on his forehead and peaked out from under his hair. His right ankle was twisted in a way that definitely wasn't natural. His face was pale and gaunt, his eyes firmly closed. It was a shallow drop but Hermonie gessued that he'd already been a bit battered when he was riding the gryphone. Now, though, if was a matter of who wanted to get Annabeth. Hermonie liked Annabeth. She was smart, seemingly trustworthy, and not someone Hermonie wanted to be hated by.
"What are going to do?" Ron ranted and paced. Luke was trying to force feed Percy something the demigods called 'ambrosia' but his mouth wouldn't open.
"I don't know!" Hermonie replied. An audible gasp echoed through the forest. Well, maybe it didn't echoed but there definitely an audible gasp. It wasn't like Hermonie to not know anything. But this was the world of demigods, not wizards. Rules were different here.
Suddenly a loud shriek cried from over head. A navy blue streak raced across the sky like a speeding bullet, circling the forest around camp. It wanted to attack the camp, Hermonie could tell, but the forcefeild like border that kept Harry out must be keeping it out. Another streak of black soared across and faster than Hermonie could comprehend, the two colors went to war. Black and blue, clashing like a throbbing black eye.
Suddenly Percy gasped and sat up, oblivious to the nasty head wound he was sporting.
"It's her..." He muttered. Before Hermonie could comprehend the black streak zoomed out of the sky and came to rest beside Percy's body. It was a sleek black peagasus, battered, bruised, and bleeding in various places. In whinnied and Percy nodded.
"Who? Who is her?" Harry asked. The figure of blue from the sky came to rest on the ground. A group of demigods sprinted across the border, led by Annabeth. Oh no, Hermonie thought. They were about to be killed. But Annabeth seemed more consumed with taking care of Percy's head wound and feh black pegasus than punishing their group. Two demigods in orange shirts, a short Latino boy with curly black hair and a toolbelt on, and a girl with hair braided with a blue feather and a jagged sword, stood in the back as if keeping guard. Two other demigods, a bulky Chinese kid that looked like a quarterback with a bow and quiver slung over his shoulder and a girl with frizzy brown hair with a jewel incrusted sword in purple t-shirts stood up.
"Lady Hectate," the girl called. The navy streak zoomed down and it came abundantly clear it wasn't navy, it was black surrounded by wist mist. The blur turned into a young women with a Greek-style haircut, in a black dress, carrying two torches with a Labrador and a weasel by her side. Despite their best efforts, Harry, Ron, Ginny, and Hermonie all stumbled back.
"Dearest Hazel," the woman replied.
"Why are you here?" Hazel asked, in the most polite tone she could muster. A distasteful look came across Hectate's face.
"See, wizards are a little group I put together a while back, blessing a few demigods with magic. Salazar Slytherin was a son of Hades, Helga Hufflepuff was a daughter of Demeter, Rowenna Ravenclaw was a daughter of Athena, and Godrick Gryffindor was a son of Ares. They started a school called Hogwarts, but made sure no one knew of the demigod world."
"Why?" Hazel asked, still very confused.
"Because, dead, you'd rip each other to peices. It would be Rome and Greece all over again."
"What are you going to do to us, ma'am?" Harry asked. Hectate gave them a smile that held no warmth.
"Send you back."
Before the blink of an eye, she waved her hand and the white mist enveloped the four. Memories were wiped and they were brought back to Hogwarts, exactly seven minutes before the last class was let out. Ron, Hermonie, and Harry all stood in a corridor.
Ginny came rushing out, "guys! I know I still have one more year here but look! We should go to New York this summer!"
For some odd reason Harry, Ron, and Hermonie all screamed simontaniusly, "NO!"
Meanwhile...
Back at Camp Demigod, Hazel Levesque was very worried. Worried for the wizards who had just left in smoke, worried for what Hectate was to do to them, and worried for Hectate herself, who was looking worse for the wear.
"Lady Hectate," Hazel started. Hectate held up her hand for them to stop.
"This should have never happened. And I hope it shall never again. You've agitated something the gods feared since the beginning of time, something that should've stayed hid-" Hectate looked at the ground as thunder. Rumbled across the sky. "I've said too much. Just know, that if you ever cross paths with any wizard of any kind, it may cost you your life."
"Man," Percy grumbled, attempting to sit up, "why are the Olympians always trying to kill us." Hectate swiveled her head to face him.
"It is not the Olympians who will kill you." All the demigods were now very, very confused. Would the person that less the wizards kill them? And what did Hectate mean by 'Something the Gods feared since the beginning of time'? They've already defeated Geae, would Chaos or something be next?
"What I don't get-" Annabeth started. Hectate smiled sadly, looking at Annabeth as if she was a ghost.
"Annabeth Chase, I'm afraid I musn't say much more. But don't worry," she looked precociously at her staff, "you won't remembered a thing." Suddenly, there was a very tense atmosphere as Hectate raised her staff and proclaimed a word that probably didn't even exist to anyone but wizards. The word for a memory charm.
With everyone blinking slowly, recovering from the charm, Hectate turned and disappeared, convinced her work was done.
Little did any of them know... This is just the beginning.
