Two days have passed and no one who went towards Gods finger has returned. Three hundred soldiers, a house head and two eldest sons. Lady Tamara Astem got impatient and called Ember and Rudolf to talk in private. Both of them had hunch of what could be the reason.

"Thank you for accepting my call Ember, and you too Rudolf." The two me silently bowed as a response. "I believe you know the reason I called you. I'll have you go and check for situation."

"Pardon my interruption my lady. Would I not be enough alone? I am fast, won't traveling with an old man be a hindrance for gathering intel?" Ember expressed his thoughts on the matter. Even as a half elf he is a proud person despite hardships that came with his lineage.

"Worry not. Rudolf may be treated as a butler but he uses peculiar magic which allows communication over long distances. During skirmishes this house suffered from, in the time of my father-in-laws reign, this butler helped significantly while battles were fought on two fronts. As fast you can reach the place, information from there will travel faster back with magic Rudolf has." Tamara has shut up Ember with that. No one in the castle could win an argument against her, as unpleasant as it was for the loser.

Silence filled the room, Ember wanted to lash out to strengthen his words, yet he couldn't. Unless if he could teleport there, he would just further dig hole for himself. Tamara, sensing her opponent gave up, smiled victoriously.

"Off you go. I want the information as fast as possible with more details than biology book has. Understood?" They bowed once again before turning to leave room for preparations. "Send Evan to kitchen on the way out. I'll wait him there."

The moment creaking stopped. Lady Tamara slouched in chair she sat one.

"Please, all of you, be well." Sighing, she stood up and pushed doors with both hands to leave room. Neither of men that would open it for her was accompanying her at the moment.

Her regal aura returned once again.
