"Oh boy, I'm so glad to see you old chum," said the professor. "You must be the singer he's been talking about, the one who came with Pauline, it's nice to meet you," he said as he let them in his tiny lab. "So, what brought you here, did the backflex break, do you want me to make a new machine, whatever you want buddy, Hahaha," the professor smiled.

"Actually, we're here to talk about a case I'm on right now," Waluigi said.

"What case is it?" he asked.

"The case of the missing lumas." The professor froze in shock to here missing lumas.

"He actually is succeeding," he whispered."Boy, I don't know how you found out, but you are really lucky you did," E. Gadd smiled at a thought he had. "His rein of villainy will end."

"So you can help us," Waluigi said.

"Oh yes, of course I can, I'll tell you my story, one time, I walked into an alleyway, when bandits curled me, when some toads and shy guys beat them up, and said to follow them. So I did, and then, we stopped, and a mysterious voice appeared, he said that I could trust him, that we could be partners. Sadly, I found out about his scheme, plan L, left, and took the evaporator and microphone out, and now I'm here to tell you everything I know," Professor E. Gadd said.

"So, what do you know?" Jerome asked.

"He is going to use the lumas as a battery for a machine I built for him, while he built those machines, those things that captured the lumas, and I had no idea," he said.

"Wow, that's really, depressing," Waluigi said.

"Wait, if you had all this information, why didn't you or Ashley tell the police about this?" Rosalina asked.

"The real world doesn't care when you do the right thing, they only see the sun in us, I would never be forgiven," he said.

"But you didn't know his intentions, though," Jerome said.

"It doesn't matter, I helped, no one will forgive me for that," he sniffed.

"But we do," Rosalina said, while smiling at the saddened  professor.

"Thank you, you should go see a minion of his, Howard and his crew, they can sneak you in," E. Gadd said.

"Where are they?" Rosalina asked.

"They live in Diamond City, go, and find them," E. Gadd told them.

"I hope you'll be safe, professor," Waluigi said.

"Good luck, guys," the professor said as they left the lab.

"Boss, the machine has malfunctioned again, what do we do?" a hammer bro said.

"Do what you did last time," the voice said.

"But we've done that 10 times this month," he said.

"Don't question me, just do it," the voice shouted.

"Fine, fine, fine," the hammer bro said. "Someday, you'll regret shouting at me like that," he whispered.

"Oh, hello good citizens, and, is that who I think it is, Singer Rosalina, it's an honor to meet you," said the purple toad.

"The honor is mine," said Rosalina.

"Come on in, I'd like you to meet my friends," he said. "I'd like you to meet Collin the hammer bro, Gramby the shy guy, Crag the lakitu, and Rosey the female yoshi," he said smiling. Waluigi looked at them all.

"They're all purple," he thought. The toad kept blabbing about random stuff, which made Jerome snap.

"Hey do you want to bring justice to Henry, or what?" He shouted.

"Wait, you mean, he died," Howard said.

"We're on a case on missing lumas, and he was linked towards it, he told us about the boss, and he was evaporated," Waluigi said.

"Why did we never tell him about the professor," Howard said.

"So did he help you guys take put the evaporator and microphone,"
Rosalina asked.

"Yes, he was very careful with it, it takes one touch in the wrong place, and it explodes, you have five minutes until your time is up, then your a goner," Howard told them.

"The professor told us you can sneak us in, how?" Jerome asked.

"We still serve him, but just in case a time like this," Howard said. He took out two outfits that looked like Collin and Rosey. "Put these on, pretend you them."

"Nice thinking," Rosalina said.

"It was my idea," Collin said.

"Okay, tomorrow we defeat the terrorizer," Rosey said.

"Is that his nickname?" Jerome asked.

"Yeah, it's a stupid name, we know," Crag said.

"Ha, six more days left, and the investigation will begin for me," Luigi said while giving Daisy a highfive.

"I'm so glad to see you like this, my darling," Daisy said.

"I'm not surprised that Waluigi hasn't been seen since thenlast four days, he's probably hiding in sjame," Luigi said, laughing his eyes out.

"Soon, you'll be greater than Mario, you'll be a legend, the one who found the kidnapper, and bring the lumas back to their owner," Daisy said.

"Yes, I, the almighty Luigi, will be the best detective to live," he said. But in the window you could see the red hat with an M on it. Yes, Mario was watching the whole thing. He went back and sat next to peach in the garden, at a table.

"Is something wrong, Mario?" Peach asked.

"It's just, that isn't the Luigi I know, Luigi does cares for others, if he didn't, he wouldn't have saved me from King Boo those years ago, right?" Mario said.

"Sometimes, people change, that's what happens in life, the same goes with my sister, Daisy, I know what your going through Mario, please don't think on it too much," she told him. Peach gave him a kiss on the cheek, and went inside the castle. Mario looked up into the sky.

"Wherever you are Waluigi, please hurry, this jealousy of my brothers is getting out of hand, and I think you are the one who can help him find the right path," Mario said. Mario waited, and went back inside.
