The next part of the book, this time, it begins, and it will start at the scene of the crime, the hotel, let's see if Waluigi can find any evidence to who did it. So, letsa go.

While Rosalina and Pauline were sitting at the table, the door knocked. Rosalina went to open the door, it was Waluigi and Jerome.

"What are you doing here?" Rosalina asked.

"I've come to solve the mystery before I lose my job," Waluigi said.

"Lose your job, what do you mean," Pauline said with worry.

"Luigi made a bet with Peach, if I solve this mystery before Christmas, I get my own company, if I don't, I won't have my job anymore, she took the bet, now, I need to solve this case before it's to late," he said.

"What are you going to do?" Rosalina said.

"I'm going to ask Palori questions of course," Waluigi said with a smirk.

"Alright, question away," Palori said. Waluigi went up to the little star, and started questioning her.

"What did the robot looked like?" he said in no time.

"It was weird, it looked like a luma, it tricked us, and it left this." Palori went to one of the drawers, and opened it, and he pulled out a cake.

"What the heck, why did it leave a cake?" Rosalina asked. Waluigi took the cake, and as soon as he touched it, three it out the window. "Why did you do that?" Rosalina yelled. Suddenly they heard an explosion.

"That's why," Waluigi smiled. They looked out the window, and saw frosting all over the alleyway.

"Oh, sorry for shouting at you, I just love star-bit cake," Rosalina told Waluigi.

"Suprisingly, that cake is an old trick, so I'm not surprised you shouted at me." Waluigi smiled at Rosalina.

"You deserve more than to be treated like a criminal, you deserve something great." Palori said.

"My job is the best thing that has happened to me, there's no other job I'd want," Waluigi said. "Also, who ever tried to kill you knows you very well, meaning you have to know the criminal." Waluigi said. "Can you name anyone you know besides the Mario Bros. and the Mayor Sisters?" Waluigi asked her.

"Yoshi, Birdo, Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Birdo, Toad, Toadette, , Toadsworth, Kamek..."
Rosalina was paused by Jerome.

"Kamek, you speak with Kamek?" Jerome questioned.

"Yes, he's really fun to hang out with actually." Rosalina started to laugh.

"Jerome, even though Kamek's a criminal, doesn't mean it's them, don't leap to conclusions," Waluigi warned him. Then Waluigi heard something strange.

"What is it, Waluigi," Jerome asked. Waluigi looked under the bed.

"Well, gootta go," a weird voice said. Suddenly a drone came out of the bed, and jumped out the window, Waluigi following behind.

"Get back here, I might be human, but my legs make me faster than the Mario Bros.," Waluigi said.

"You'll never catch me, gamma boy," the drone laughed." The drone started running faster, so did Waluigi, on and it would go on, until the robot went as fast as possible, Waluigi on the other hand, started going faster, until he caught the drone.

"Gotcha you little tin-can." Waluigi said with glee. He went to the police station so they could interrogate the drone.

"Thank you, Detective Waluigi," a Toad said to him. Waluigi went back to the hotel and started to search for clues. He looked until he saw something, Kamek's wand.

"Now can we go get Kamek." Jerome said.

"Now we can go get him." Waluigi said.

So they went to see Kamek, but before they went in the car.

"Wait, I want to go with you." Rosalina shouted.

"This mission is a man's..." Jerome was slammed on the head by Rosalina.

"I am not a damsel in destress, I can pertect myself." Rosalina said.

"Come on Jerome, remember when you let your friend come along," Waluigi said.

"Alright, you got me there," Jerome sighed. The three hopped in the car, and they were off. The lair stood 1,000 feet tall, and 500 feet wide, they went inside and started sneaking throw the castle.

"So, what are you doing good friend," a Goomba said to a green shelled Koopa Troopa.

"Oh just walking back and FOOOORRRRTH," the koopa responded as he fell into a hole.

"Sorry about that," as the Goomba went back to work. Waluigi rolled his eyes and Jerome giggled. They saw a room labeled "Kamek's Room." They smiled and opened the door.

"Hey, hey, hey, you just don't open the door, I could've been naked in..." Kamek looked to find the three glaring at him. He suprised, then confused. "Do you want anything," he asked.

"What was this doing in Rosalina's and Pauline's room." Waluigi showed Kamek his wand.

"My wand, I've been looking everywhere for it," he said. "That scoundrel must've tried to make it looked like i tried to kidnap one of them, huh." Kamek said.

"What do mean," Jerome said.

"A Toad came in my room while I was working on this," Kamek took a blanket off his bed and it revealed a machine.

"What color was the toad, did you get how many spots he had on his thing on his head," Waluigi asked.

"Well, he was a green Toad, and he had five spots on his thing," He told him.

"I know that Toad, but are you sure we can trust him," Jerome asked.

"King Boo one time gave us a clue, and that clue helped us the most, it even was the clue that solved the whole mystery," Waluigi said.

"You got me once again," Jerome said.

"Thank you for this great information," Waluigi said.

"You're going to trust me." Kamek said.

"Why wouldn't I, it's part of the detective code, always trust anyone, even if it's an enemy," Waluigi said.

"So what do we do now," Rosalina asked.

"We go see the toad Kamek told us to find," Jerome said.

"That works for me," Waluigi chuckled. They said goodbye to Kamek, and they snuck out of the evil lair, heading back to the city where they'll find the next clue.
