Knuckles woke up in a strange room, he could see cement on the ceiling, and the walls, he turned his head to see bars on the door so he couldn't get out.

"Espio, where are you?" Knuckles asked.

"Right here," Espio said behind him.

"Where are we?" Knuckles questioned. Espio looked around, seeing if anyone was there.

"I think we're locked up one the Olympics jail cell," he answered. Knuckles sighed in disbelief.

"Who the heck was that?" Espio recalled. Knuckles thought for a moment.

"Well, lets put things together, Waluigi has told me some things about Dimentio and her friends, and what's their goals, Omega came out of no where, and tried to blow us up, then Infinity came to destroy us, so he could destroy our world. But Omega was different than Infinity. Omega didn't say anything about Dimentio, and he had to be tampered with, so Dimentio couldn't have turned Omega against us, so it has to be..." Knuckles was still thinking. "I got it, it's-," he was interrupted by some slow claps in the darkness.
"Mr. L." He appeared out of the shadows, with a smile.

"Well done, I have to say, you're smarter than most people say," he grinned. Knuckles was confused at the statement.

"What do you mean most people say?" he asked. Mr. L laughed at the question.

"Right, you don't know, let me tell you, it's really funny when people talk about you behind your back, Blaze is the worst out of them all, even Robotnik thinks the same as well," he told him. "To most of your "friends," you're just a dumby, the only people that actually respect you are a few of them, Sonic, Tails, Amy, Shadow, Silver, the Chaotix, Cream, and Cosmo," Mr. L cackled. Knuckles was upset, very upset.

"You're a liar!!!" He shouted in anger.

"Oh, and Rouge, she's the best one out of all of them, how she thinks how easy it is to steal the emerald from you, the way you walk, and how easy it is to tease you..." there was a long pause. "She hates your guts, and she loves to pretend she likes you just so she can humiliate you someday," Mr. L snickered after what he said. Knuckles looked down, then his hands turned into fists.

"If your saying it's true, why would you tell me this," he growled.

"Just so you know when you become slaves of mine," Mr. L smiled, and walked off to retrieve more victims. Rouge and Shadow looked at the red robot with its grey eyes, and turned it back on.

"Finally, the team back at it again," Shadow said. Omega shook rapidly, and looked down at the two.

"Surrender, or be killed," he told them. He shot out some rockets at them, they both summersalted at opposite directions, Omega jumped up, and hit the ground near Rouge, making her fall unconscious.

"What the heck is wrong with you Omega, you're supposed to be helping us, like the old days," Shadow remarked. Omega turned to him, walking up to him. "Alright, are we-" Omaha slapped his head, as Shadow turned his head, all he saw was a robotic fist coming staight for him, and then, stars. Omega carried them both to the cellar, where it would turn more interesting.

"Hey Sticks, where are we going now," asked Blaze.

"We should go to the kitchen, I bet no one has looked tgere, and also, I'm starving," she told them. Silver looked at Blaze, and she shrugged. They went to the kitchen, and was surprised by a big crash.

"Well, well, well, look what the cat dragged in, to bad she was dragged in as well," Mr. L smiled. "Now get ready for Knuckles you three, and your fault for talking about him like that," He laughed maniacally.

"Tails, we have to ask you a question," Cream said.

"Y-yes," Tails said, knowing what was coming.

"Which one of us would you want to be with?" Cosmo said, Both blushing. Tails gulped, looking at the two.

"Uh, I don't know, it's hard to choose, you both are so cute and soft, and sweet, I just don't want to hurt anyone's feelings," Tails sighed. Cosmo and Cream looked at each other, and Cream stood bacl, and smiled.

"Thank you," Cosmo whispered to her. She walked up to Tails, and hugged him. Tails looked at Cream, she was smiling. Tails smiled, but that's when Cream was dragged into the darkness.

"CREAM, NO!!!" Tails couldn't see her anywhere. Cosmo walked up to Tails, confused as well, then a net caught both of them.

"Aww, a new couple on the list to ruin," Mr. L snickered. He threw a bomb under them, and it blew up with gas, sleep gas. The gas dissapeared, Cosmo was still awake, Mr. L cut the rope, with Cosmo trembling.

"So, when should I kill you, not, or later," he said, with a matchin his hand. Cosmo gasped at the sight of it, she started backing up. "Na, to easy, Omega, take the two away," he said. Cosmo was blinded by Omega, and the two were taking to the cellar. Time went on, and only a few people were left.

"Where is everyone," Waluigi thought to himself. He looked, but couldn't find anyone. Then, he heard someone from behind.
He took out his whip to defend himself, and turned. "Stay back," he said. It was only Sonic, Amy, Luigi, Daisy, King Boo, and Vector.

"Whoa, it's just us," Sonic said.

"Sorry, have you seem anyone else," He asked.

"No, not ever since we found Mario and Peach," Sonic told him. Waluigi thought for a moment. He looked at the watch, only Pauline to go.

"Where have guys gone to," Waluigi asked.

"We've all asked to each other, we've nailed it down to three locations, the shop, the field, and the backyard," Luigi told him. Waluigi started thinking. He thought of a plan.

"Alright, we have 30 minutes left, if we split up, we can do it, Sonic, Amy, backyard. Luigi, Daisy, Vector, the field, King Boo and I, the shop," Waluigi told them.

"Who made you the boss," Daisy said. Luigi nudged her, and whispered in her ear something. "Alright," she said. They split apart, Waluigi and King Boo looked threw the shop, and looked at the back door. They nodded at each other and opened it, revealing Pauline. Waluigi untied her and took the tape off.

"Thank you," she said. Waluigi smiled, they found everyone, and in ten minutes left. They walked out of the shop, and a cage came out of no where, and trapped them.

"Hello, son," Mr. L said. Waluigi started crying. "It's nice to see you again, to bad I didn't get to turn you into me," he said. "Now I guess it has to end this way, and the for the rest," he snickered. Waluigi realized about the others, maybe they could save them. "Oh, and if you're wondering about you're friends, Omega and Metal Sonic are taking care of them," he said with a dark tone. They were knocked out, except for one. Waluigi woked up, surrounded by Mario, the gang, and all the other Mario characters. He could here some arguing in another cell.

"You lied to me, why, I thought you were better than this," Knuckles screamed.

"Seriously, you've always been stupid, then you go and Now you're being brainwashed by this lanky scumbag, that you never even have met, how do you know he's working with them, since he's their son and all," Blaze yelled, with almost everyone behind her.

"Tell us, what makes you think he's different," Eggman growled. Waluigi was worried, would he lose a friend once again. Knuckles looked up at them all.

"Because I know how it feels to be alone," he shouted. "I know how it feels to be kicked to the curb, left, forgotten by the things you love, to feel..." he didn't want to say it. "misunderstood." They looked at him confused. "Now the people I thought who were my friends are saying that my brain is a size of a walnut, what friends you turned out to be," Knuckles said. Then he turned to Rouge. "And you," he said. "Mr. L told me quite the story," he said. Espio realized what was going to happen. "You're a pretty good actor, all that convincing blushing, flirting, everything, just to embarrass me, huh." Rouge was confused.

"I don't understand," she said, raising her hand to touch her cheek, but Knuckles slapped her hand away.

"No, I've learned a lot of things in my years, but now, I see what this world really is," Knuckles grumbled. "A place where everything is unfair, a place where you can't trust anyone, not even your friends," Knuckles finished. It was complete silence, all hope seemed lost. Unripe a key was floating in the air.

"What the heck is that," Daisy said, trying to grab the keys.

"BOO!!!" King Boo screamed, appearing with the key in his hands. Daisy screamed with fear. "Never gets old," he said, laughing.

"Just let us out, alright," Daisy said. King Boo smiled, letting Waluigi out, but shut it as soon as Waluigi, Knuckles and the crew got out of the way.

"What the heck, let us out," Luigi said.

"No, you want to know why, because you all have been treating everyone so badly, I think it's time to show you that hero's aren't born, they're made," King Boo told them.

"LET US OUT YOU STUPID KING OF WHITE BALLS!!!," Daisy said.

"No Daisy, let them go," Mario said. He had his head down.

"C'mon Mario, Waluig I and King Boo are obviously planning on betraying their team-" she was stopped by Mario.

"This is all my fault, it's my fault this is a mess," Mario said. "You wanna know why I invite everyone," Mario started tearing up. "Because I'm trying to set everything right, I let this happen to everyone, Bowser, King Boo, Wario, Waluigi, all the said villians, I made these games so they felt appreciated, but it just kept maki g things worse, the scorers cheating, my engineers secretly turning my bike into higher acc then it should be, I made this so everyone could get along, but people just see it as conpetition," he finished. "I just wanted to show everyone they're not as bad as they think, and I thought Knuckles would help Waluig I find his way to us, but it didn't, nothing has never worked, and I'm afraid it never will," he finished. Everyone was shocked, Mario, trying to get everyone to get along, but just made things worse.

"When I first appeared at tennis, you tried to stop me and Luigi from fighting, but neither of us didn't listen," Waluig I realized.

"I was sick of everyone telling lies about Wario, that he stole my mansion because he was greedy, when he was just a fan, I was sick of everyone being afraid of King Boo and Bowser, and when I saw you and Luigi getting mad at each other, I knew what was going to happen," Mario sighed. Waluig I smiled, and looked at Mario.

"Thanks for trying," Waluigi said.

"Now go show everyone that you're not who they say you are," Mario said. Peach clapped, and kissed Mario on the nose. Mario smiled, waving to Waluigi and Knuckles. They left, knowing that someone was on their side.

"Knuckles, can I-" she was stopped by Knuckles.

"Don't try it," Knuckles said. Knuckles left her side, she slowed down, left by everyone, and she fell down, and started crying. She didn't know what to do, except for one thing.

"Are you alright Rouge?" Rosalina said.

"What does it look like," she whined. Rosalina walked up to her. She touched her, feeling her aura.

"Is she really thinking of doing that?" she thought. Rosalina looked at her with concern.

"Are you really sure?" Rosalina said.

"If it will show him that Mr. L is wrong," she answered. Rosalina sighed, and teleported them to the gang.

"He, he, he, looks like your plan failed Mr. L, and you guys look like you completed my game, good job," Dimentio said. Mr. L was unconscious, on the floor, TD and Chaos were with Dimentio.
"But, of course, I'm still gonna make you my slaves, cause I'm evil like that," Dimentio laughed, now the battle truely bagan.
