So I know approximately 80% of this book so far has been about villains, so I thought, why not make a chapter about princesses?

You read that right. Princesses. Do not @ me.

Here the thing. And before you ask where I'm getting such wacky conclusions, weird thoughts come to me at any one of like three times in the day: when I'm either a) walking the doggo (aka big floofy boi); b) trying to sleep; or c) just waking up. In this case it's the first one.

Now let's start why don't we!?

K so age check first. Snow White was 14 in her movie. Which came out in like 1939 and had women in the animating crew which was his she got the realistic blush on her cheeks. Anyway. That's conveniently the age of consent in Germany, which is the origin of this tale (originally called Schneewittchen; thank you Google for helping my non-German-speaking ass spell it).

In comparison, Sleeping Beauty/Aurora (who was in a fucking coma for like half her movie and only had 18 lines; RIP) was 16. But back to the age of consent thing because yeah, my ass is bitter about that. Sleeping Beauty originated in France (correct me if I'm wrong) and the age of consent there is 15. But back in the times that these stories were set, nobody gave a fuck about consent. It was the dark ages, okay? They had worse shit to worry about, like plagues and famine and death and evil fairies who were salty about not being invited to the party of the century and queens who just wanted to win a damn beauty contest.

But I digress, let's get back to the main point, shall we?

Ok so we all know the stories, I don't have to recap them. Anyway. I wanna talk about the princes.

Prince Phillip was like 20 when he met Aurora in the woods where she lived with the good fairies. Not a huuuuuge age difference, so that's fine.

But Prince Florian was... wait for it...

Wait for it...

31 years old! Twice Snow's age! That's some creep energy right there. Plus the fact that she was kissed while unconscious with witnesses. The dwarves just like... stood there. And because Snow was dead/comatose, I guess that makes it okay? I dunno, I didn't write the script.
