One warm spring afternoon in the neighborhood, you and wally were finger painting when you both hear the doorbell.

To wally's shock, his parents tackled him into a hug!

Mom: wally darling! I've missed you so much, baby!
Dad: how was life in the neighborhood?
Wally: mom? Dad? I thought you're busy with work!
Mom: we decided to have a vacation here in this colorful neighborhood and we thought we come see you for a bit.
Dad: *sees you* oh is this your boyfriend/ girlfriend?
Wally: *turns red in the cheeks* ugh Dad! He's/ she's just a friend of mine! Just friends!
Mom: awww you didn't tell us you two are dating.
Wally: *turns darker red in the face than his bandana* MOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

Later on in the evening, wally's parents say goodbye and head kn their way to their vacation.

You: r u ok?
Wally: sorry about my parents.... they desperately want some grandkids now that I'm an adult.
You: tell you what. How about we go out so you can cool off your embarrassment?
Wally: *hugs you tight* oh! I'd love that!
