okay but "in my blood" by shawn mendes perfectly describes peter parker/spider-man during spider-man: homecoming and i am prepared to fight anyone who tells me differently.

that's pretty much peter after he's crushed under the rubble and struggling to lift it. because he's a kid and tony stark usually comes in to save the day, and part of him wants tony to do it again. but even though he's just a kid, that doesn't make him anything less. peter refuses to give up and saves himself.

and then the part in the song:
"i need somebody now
someone to help me out
i need somebody now"
is peter when he's crying and calling out for help before he finally frees himself.

i just have a lot of feelings about peter parker, okay?
