i love chris pratt.

mostly because of his character from "parks and rec" but he's such a good person, too. (good person = hasn't sexually assaulted anyone). plus, he's really funny. have you seen any of his interviews? some of them are hilarious.

while watching the super bowl (which i hate, don't get me started), an ad came on, and he was in it. and i said something like "i love chris pratt" and my dad asked if it was because he was hot.

yeah, he's attractive, but that's not the only reason i can like a celebrity. chris pratt makes me laugh, which is a large reason why i like him. and, i started liking chris pratt before he became "hot" (hot = totally ripped and muscular).

but this happens a lot, especially with teenage girls. our likes are laughed at and seen as silly. when one direction was huge, a large part of their fan base was tween and teenage girls. and soon, one direction was almost laughed at by the male population. why? because teenage girls liked them. (p.s. girls didn't like the band just because the singers were hot).

another example: i went to see "the greatest showman" multiple times, and i was asked if it was because zac efron was in it. partially, yeah; he's very attractive, and a talented actor and singer. but know why else i saw the movie?

because it was amazing. the songs were so good, and the story was captivating. and zendaya was in it. that woman is amazing and talented and beautiful, and i have more of a crush on her than i do zac efron. also, most of the songs give me the strongest emotions.

i can like people without thinking they're hot.

now, if they put halsey or cara delevingne in that ad, then i'd definitely say that they're hot.
