"Spent the night on a riverside"

After the incident Pipin was carried back in Lia's arms, she sobbed into the white and scarlet red fur. The rest of the day went slow after that. Each moment dragged. Lia distanced herself from everyone.

Night fell, and Lia left the manor to walk, she desperately needed to clear her mind. The cold air bit the skin on her face; the snow continued to fall. Her footprints disturbed the fresh white blanket that had fallen.

The white haired man had heard the main door open and close. He would always check the manor at night, making sure all fires were out, all window were locked as well as any entrances. He had been ready to lock the main doors, since he always left them for last. Having a quick glance out of a window he saw blonde hair that was pinned up. He knew who it was. To ensure that she was in no harm while out there he put on a coat and followed her out, locking the doors behind him. The butler followed her footprints, they led to a river. He saw her. Hunched over by the river side.

Her eyes were glued to the water. The light gusts of wind that would pass every so often would cause ripples in the water.

"So, is following me now part of your job?" Her voice was dull, it hadn't shown emotion like it usually did.
"Well making sure that you're safe is part of my job, if it means that I have to follow you to make sure that you are alright, I will most certainly do that." It sounded harsh, the tone he used, but he was just getting him point across, making sure she understood his role. She fell silent before her tear stained face made visual contact with his. She looked lost, damaged and of course upset.

"Will you sit with me?" It came out almost like a whisperer, her voiced framing while she spoke.
"Of course, ma'am."
They sat there in silence. Ash removed his coat and wrapped it around her shoulders, in response Lia rested the side of her head on his arm. She began to cry which led Ash to put an arm around her.

"It's not fair..."

I may try and push you away, don't let me isolate myself behind the walls. I don't want to be alone at this time.
