"You feel more like home to
me than any place I've ever been."

Jungkook POV
It was harder than I thought it would be. There was something about his eyes constantly fixed on my moving form that had my stomach fluttering and cheeks heating up, the slight rosy color dusted on my cheekbones could easily be blamed by the couple hours of vigorous dancing.
"You need to quit that." I mumbled, my chest rising and falling in an attempt to catch my breath. The students were more out of breath and falling to sit on the cold studio floor while their friends grabbed them water bottles. Taehyung spun around in the chair, his fingers messing with the chord that hooked my phone up to the sound system, eyes blinking up at me in innocence, "Quit what?" he had asked, handing me my own water bottle.
I just shook my head and chugged almost the entirety of the bottle in one go, leaving Taehyung to mess on his phone. "How much longer?" the boy asked in boredom.
With a quick glance at the clock on the back wall, I shrugged and tossed the water bottle at the small trashcan beside be sound board. The plastic hit the rim and fell to the floor beside the can. "Twenty minutes maybe." I frowned.
"Fuck yeah." Taehyung quietly cheered as he spun around in the chair, his long legs dragged him to a stop eventually but he kept pushing the seat in circles.
I rolled my eyes at him but smiled regardless, the childish nature to some of his actions was always amusing. Especially the silent glares he continuously throws at Kino, thinking I don't notice them. "Think about what you want for dinner baby." I said, the color of the older boys cheeks turned a pink shade and he hid the light tint but spinning in the chair with a nod.
It went by pretty quickly, the students had somewhat nailed the last moves of the number and left without too many questions on the piece we were working on. "I'll bring my laptop next time Jungkookie, I think it'll help a lot with the studio and your exposure." she smiled, a girl who's signed up for my classes nearly every time. Her black hair cut in an abrupt bob right below her ears that swung when she walked, her pink lips were stretched in a strong smile as she talked about posting videos of our dancing on the internet for more people see. It was an interesting idea.
I tried to respond and politely decline, I had my own ideas with Jimin on our growing studio plans, but she wouldn't let me finish. "That, or I could text you and we can meet up.." Miyeon trailed off and she pulled out her phone, no one else was in the studio as every one cleared out and left me alone with her, until a strong hand placed itself on my back.
"He's busy every day from now on." his deep voice was easily recognizable and as familiar as his hands touching me. Taehyung smiled at the girls advancing motives and leaned further into my side. "We have dinner plans, remember Jungkookie?" he said with a pointed look at me. I nodded and smiled amusingly at my boyfriend, "Of course Tae, why don't you get my bag while I finish talking?"
The cute smile fell from his face and Taehyung narrowed his eyes in a somewhat playful manner that still seemed to border genuine annoyance, "Get your own fucking bag kid."
My head fell back with a loud laugh and Taehyung shoved me away with a pout. It was quiet and my outburst echoed in the studio obnoxiously, but I didn't mind as I watched his face struggle to hold back his own smile. Miyeon seemed beyond confused and just stood there watching the two of us, "I'll see you next class." I managed to say with a soft chuckle following.
Taehyung had walked off and stood by the door with his arms crossed in a stubborn stance. It was mildly surprising when he nodded at Miyeon to have a good day as she left.
"I was going to beat your ass." he mumbled once I grabbed my bag and pulled it over my shoulder to meet him by the door.
It was funny that he thought so, leading to me pinching his bicep and listening to him squeal, "With these muscles? I don't think so sweetheart." I laughed quietly.
He whined the rest of the way, out the studio and back down the sidewalk and even throughout the store. It eventually turned into mindless rambling about whatever came to his head, whether it was some child's cute light up shoes that he wish he had when he was little or if it was the sales on the grocery store shelves. I ended up picking out the vegetables and meat, assuming he had ramen at home for dinner so I didn't need to buy any.
Taehyung was only interrupted once we made it back to his apartment building and walked down the hall to his door. My arms carried the bags as he held my backpack on his shoulders, he said he liked the smell of my cologne that was on it. "It's Jimin." he sighed after digging for his phone out of his tight skinny jean pockets. I noticed his slight struggle holding onto one of the bags and trying to answer the phone, so I grabbed his apartment keys, "I got the door." I whispered as he smiled in thanks and answered the phone.
"Hey Jimin," he said, "We're right outside-" he started to say but abruptly stopped. "Wait, what?" Taehyung said, seemingly not understanding what he was just told.
I only payed a little attention to what he was saying as I unlocked the door and shoved it open to a semi-familiar home, my boyfriend suddenly calling my name in a quiet shriek, "Jungkook wait!"
To say I was caught off guard would be an understatement. Someone suddenly calling your name is already alarming, but seeing a middle aged couple in front of a wide-eyed Jimin was also very concerning. "Uhh, hi?" It was the only thing I could think of as no one moved to say or do anything else. My arms were full with groceries and I looked at the couple in front of me with slight confusion.
The woman was tall and appeared formal, based on the ironed pastel blouse tucked into a black pencil skirt that matched the short heels she had on. Her black hair was straight and pinned back to reveal strong eyebrows set in subtle disapproval with everything around her. She looked a lot like a more mature version of Taehyungs little sister. The man beside her was obviously her husband, but seemed much less dominating with his repressed stance and less intimidating stare.
"What are you guys doing here?" a quiet Taehyung had finally spoken up from behind me. The door shut just as quietly once he stepped inside his own apartment and brushed past me. "You didn't call." he said.
My fingers were starting to hurt as he plastic of the grocery bags cut into my skin with the weight of the food we bought, I silently excused myself around the three people and walked into the kitchen with a silent Jimin following.
"I don't need to call, I am your mother." the woman spoke up, and my guesses were correct. I figured they were Taehyungs parents.
And guessing by the negative tone of her diction, it didn't seem like it was a happy visit.
