I open my eyes for the first time, I was surprised at what I saw. "So this is Earth, hmm". I start scanning the ground for any organism that's able to photosynthesize. I've been to a lot of planets before but I can tell something's different about this one.

I hear the ship take off behind, going to drop off more scouts to there designated planet. I look back and check to see if it's completely gone. It has left the atmosphere, " Perfect" I smile to myself. I slowly ascend then take off. Flying around broken pillers, performing loops in the air.

I take off once more, breaking the sound barrier as jet streams follow, along with the dust I've picked up. Mo's not gonna be too happy about that. And then I just glide, sailing through the sky so peacefully before breaking the sound barrier once more. "That was very delightful" I say as I land.

rumble- *click* BOOM!!!

...Just a pebble. I continue with my search for organic photosynthesizer. I wandered everywhere and found nothing. I made my way to an old power plant. Nothing here either, I continue down the path and find a pile of rubber doughnuts, odd.

Ruff *click*

It whimpered at me. It's some kind of animal. "Im sorry, I thought you were a threat." I crouch down and reach my hand out to pet it. It seems to like it and licks my chin. I giggle and heared another in response

*click* BOOM!!! BOOM!!!

"WOAH!!" I heard it yell. "Who are you?" I asked. It didn't respond so I walked closer. It was too dusty to clearly see the silhouette clearly. "Who are you?" The dust settles a bit and I can see, it's a person. A rather scrappy looking one at that. I see the animal rush over to there side. It seems to be a male, and by the animals reaction he seems to be harmless. I scan him just to make sure and then continued my searches elsewhere. What an odd individual.

The next day I search again. Finding a shopping megaplex. I decided to search there. Then I saw the male from before. I think I startled him, he ran into some carts and then got chased by said shopping carts. He ran into a door trying to open it, only to be tackled by them all. That man is something else.

I finished searching for the day and decided to sleep near an old oil plant. The next day I woke up to a statue made of garbage. Strange, I wonder if that was there last night.

I spent all day searching and found nothing. I searched a vehicle with a rocket on the hood, a waste container, an old space shuttle, an entire cargo ship and still nothing. I was frustrated, so I left. "DANG IT!" I scream as I slam the ship hatch.

THUNK

"OWWW" I got pulled up by a magnet!!! I tried to fly away but it pulled me back in. "SCREW THIS!" I scream as I blast away the magnet before destroying the whole ship. Which triggered all the ships to topple over and explode.

Nothing's going as I planned it would... I thought this planet would be different from the others but I guess I was wrong.... So I stay in silence, wallowing in my own despair. I have to wait almost a year before I can go back and then it's off to another god forsaken planet.

"Ahem" I hear to my left. "Hmm." I respond a bit too quickly. "AHH" it's him, it seems I've startled him again. He didn't respond to English last time, I wonder. "Bonjour, Ciao, Hola, こんにちは、" I'm glad I took that language debriefing.

"U- um, hi?" Oh, he can speak English. I disengage my helmet so he can hear me clearly.

"Do you have a directive?" I ask.

"I- uh, w- well, just watch" he turns around and gathers a bunch of scrap and compacts it with his hands and cuts them into three perfect squares. "Tadaaaaa" he says proudly. That was... Pretty impressive."Dooooo y- you have a directive?" He asked hesitantly

"Classified"

"O- oh" is all he says. I feel kinda bad now.

"Hey, what's your name?" I ask him.

"I'm w- Wally" he says shyly. I giggle a little, he's kinda cute. "I- is it b-bad?"

"No no, it suits you" I reassure him. Can you believe I almost shot him. He seems nice. "I'm Eve by the way" he struggles to say it but tries again anyways.

"Almost, it's Eve. E V E" I explain.

"Oooooh, Eva" I laugh a little. His accent is adorable.

Something on his tool belt is flashing red, I wonder what it means. He looked around panicked. What's got him so worked up. "Uh oh, Eva we gotta go" he tried to grab me but I step back. What's gotten into him, I hear a rumbling and look behind me. A dust storm, that's what's got him worried. He could've at least said something.

The dust hits us and I can't see a thing. "WALLY" I call out. "WALLY WHERE ARE YOU" I engage my helmet and move around a bit. Then I felt a hand grab mine.

"I got you Eva" he says reassuringly. I couldn't help but feel vulnerable in that moment. Maybe it's all the dust in the air, or maybe...

Two days in a row!?!?
That's insane, only a mad man would do such a thing and yet here we are
