Chapter 6
She went screaming, only in her heart and soul she knew she was alive... because this thing inside of her could eventually kill itself or so to say kill her. Running from something is what most people think is cowardice, but in reality it means more, being afraid never meant that you were a coward, it just proved that everyone is afraid of something, most afraid of death, who wouldn't. But it happens, so what we are afraid of is not necessarily fear, it just meant weakness, and weakness is not really something to worry about half the time, it's just there to balance ones self, after all no one is perfect, no one is afraid of nothing. And if you say you aren't afraid, then that just means that your a coward, a person who cannot admit their fears and faults is no man, but a coward.
She was left screaming for what felt like hours, but only mere seconds, that's when she landed into some dark room, banging her head on a metal wall 'well, what felt like a metal wall' recent memories had passed though her eyes, she sat there leaning her back against the wall, letting out a very frustrated sigh she stood up and kicked a piece of metal? 'what is it with this place and metal' she was mentally and physically tired. She was for sure lost, not knowing where to go she wandered down the blue light-ed dimly lit like hallway? Corridor? She didn't know anything at this point, her brain clouded, her eyes feeling dizziness take over and her body feeling every bit of pain for no known reason "what the-" the hallway thing ended, revealing a giant glass like cage, lifted off the ground, just a little, with a 'metal' platform going all the way around. Lead by a staircase. She walked up, her legs ready to give out at any given moment, leaning against the railing on her hands, she met the most beautiful pair of green she has ever seen, just those two green eyes seemed to of taken all her pain away, taken her dizziness as well as her breath.
The green pairs of eyes belonged to a very handsome man dressed in what she presumed to be Asgardian armor, mixed in with a variety of blacks and greens, he was just sitting there holding a book in his hand, staring very intensively at her. Instead of fear, she felt very comforted by those same green eyes, eyes that showed pain, and a heck of a lot of it, it was almost as is if she could sense his pain without the need of reading his mind or whatever, she couldn't even think, his eyes bored into her own her body taking control of itself, her legs just walking around the circular cage, his eyes never leaving hers. "Who are you" she asked "I should be asking you" he retorted, looking every bit annoyed "someone" she answered, looking directly at him, watching his movements, assuming he was watching hers "Princess of Vanaheim" not giving him her name just yet. His eyes almost shot up, scanning her body up and down, his actions making heat rise to her cheeks, her head turning the other direction afraid he'll see.
"Loki" this time it was her turn, her head snapped towards him 'Loki, the prince' her mind was racing with different thoughts, 'was he always this handsome' or 'it's not like I like him... right' 'I like him, oh heavens no' 'but yes he's good looking, we should marry him' 'no!' she was having a mental argument with herself debating whether she tell the Alfather that his son is down here or that she could go ahead and marry Thor... 'The first option is preferable' "so your Odin's other, unrelated son" she didn't want him to get angry spite his past, not wanting to bring up something that she'll most definitely regret "yes, you know of me" "of course! I-I mean who doesn't r-right" 'nice, your stuttering, great way to make first impressions' 'shut up!' she hated her conscious even though it was herself arguing with herself, it still felt very weird on her behalf.
She just saw him give out a devilish smirk 'oh gods, why must beings be created this handsome and delicious...wait delicious' she didn't even know where that came from. "You are very strange" he said to her keeping his eyes trained on his book while sneaking glances into her direction occasionally, giving him her own award winning smirk, she smiled evilly before teleporting directly in front of him, inside the cage, without triggering any warnings what so ever "surprise" she smirked, a shocked expression evident on his face, disappearing quickly as it came, he scoffed "hardly" "you sure" she walked up to him, making him stand, she stood directly in front of him, no trace of fear anywhere.
Face to face, Loki himself was shocked, someone other than himself this bold, this brave, this beautiful, this- this mischievous 'daring, intriguing' he thought. "Think twice" she told him, before disappearing into a cloud of a bluey white mist "beautiful" he said aloud, he hadn't even noticed he said that, before something snapped him back to reality, his mother in her holographic form was standing directly in front of him like she did. "Loki" he looked back at his mother "yes" "I said thank you" his eyebrows furrowed "you called me beautiful" he was at that moment very confused, was he dreaming, or was it real 'maybe it was my imagination' he thought 'no' 'it has to be'.
'Too Beautiful for the heavens' 'gods' he said looking at his reflection from the glass of the cage 'what is wrong with me'.
