Chapter 18
She didn't care about what happened last night, instead, she lay on top of Loki's chest as she listened to his gentle heart beat and feel the rise and fall of his chest as they both lay there enjoying each others warmth as they smiled in their sleep.
But not everything stays that way for long "good morning" he mumbled while pulling his arm away to stretch "good morning" she smiled while sitting up and looking down at his disheveled inky hair as some loose strands fell over his face in a very, very handsome way "like the view, darling" he smirked "no actually, I don't" she smirked back "sure you don't" he smiled before sitting up directly in front of her "I know you love it" he smirked before tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear, causing her cheeks to heat up "n-no I don't" she stammered as she tried to cover her flaming face from his view.
"Darling, you know you can't lie to me, I'm the God of Lies" his award-winning smirk was plastered on his face "watch me" she had on a goofy smile as she was now sitting down with her legs tucked underneath her. "Oh!, Can you show me around Asgard" she was bubbling with excitement "no" her smile faded "why not?" Her lips puffed out as they formed a pout "please" she gave him her best innocent and angelic face she could muster. He got up and walked over to the bathroom before she spoke up.
"Please, Loki" "no, go ask Thor" he immediately regretted saying that "Enchessa, I-" "save it" she snapped "if it makes you feel better..." he sighed as he wiped his face with his left hand as the right rested on his hip "I'll show you around Asgard" her glowing smile reappeared as she jumped off of the bed "thank you!" She cheered while placing a small kiss to his cheek but she took a step away the second she did so "I-uhh" she was blushing more than she was before, her face visibly redder than the most ripest fruit you could've ever imagined "sorry-I-I didn't-" she teleported herself into the bathroom and slammed the door shut.
"What did I do?" She covered her face in her small hands as her face felt hot "his face" she chuckled as her hand rested on her chin "what will he think of me now" she groaned while throwing her head back "ow!" She rubbed the back of her head from the small impact of the door as she walked over to the tub while muttering curses under her breath.
"What better way to relax than a bubble bath" she smiled weakly as she began turning the faucets to her desired temperature. She waited a minute for the tub to fill up to her standards before she popped in small purple pearls that erupted into a lake of fizzing and foam "pretty" she smiled as her hand moved figure-eights in the water, dissolving some of the bubbles.
She pulled off her robe just a little when the door opened "Loki!" She screamed as she tried her hardest to cover up her exposed skin "I-" he mumbled as he slammed the door closed "Gods" she chuckled "what a morning" she sighed before she climbed into the tub-clothes off. She let the warm water envelop her skin as her eyes closed from relaxation.
After drying herself off she pulled on a green dress that had a slit running down the middle of her thigh as the long sleeves hung loosely around her wrists "so pretty" she twirled around as her magic instantly dried her hair as she left it out in natural waves.
She slipped on her nude strap heels before walking out of the bathroom and into his green room filled with gold and black accents. She sighed when she noticed Loki was gone "what am I to do now?, He said he would show me around Asgard...lying bastard" she laughed while she walked out the door "leaving so soon?" She turned around and saw the women from a few days ago, or was it a week ago.
"You again" she looked at the lady dressed in all purple "yes me, and what did I tell you" "y-you didn't tell me anything" she was getting frustrated, how can someone randomly appear and ask such things when they hardly even spared you their name "or you just don't remember" she held her hands on her hips as she stared at Enchessa expectantly. "What?" "do tell me, why wasn't I informed of your betrothal?" "I don't even know you!" She looked at her with disbelief "how can you not remember me!?, I've known you since we were children!" She looked at her as she felt more confused than ever "I'm getting a headache" she leaned against the pillar "remember me Chessie" her head snapped up at her.
She was gone, but the way she said it, it didn't sound like a desperate 'remember me!' It sounded more like something she should worry about, the way an evil man would tell his next victim. Like a 'you better remember me' sorta way.
"Asgard is hurting my brain" she mumbled as her fingers massaged her aching temples "it's not all bad" her eyes slowly looked up to see Sif standing there "are you sure, because I have never felt like this in all my life, and least to say, I don't like it" "you'll get used to it, after all" Enchessa looked over to Sif with a raised brow "after all?" She questioned as she stood straighter "you're getting betrothed aren't you" "y-yes" she whispered "with that creature who destroyed half the realm of Midgard, blew up half of Asgard and on many occasions had tried to murder us all" she flinched at her harsh words "I would like to think that it wasn't that bad of a problem" she coward as Sif's angry demeanor was kind of scaring her.
"He killed thousands, Enchessa if not millions, what he has done is unforgivable and cruel" she looked away as her mind was processing Sif's words of 'kindness' "all mistakes can be forgiven, all faults can be replenished and all pain caused can be healed" she looked at her as Sif's eyes were searching the one's of hers. For any sign of misunderstood humor "everyone makes mistakes, we're not born perfect, Sif" "but those mistakes can't be forgiven, under any circumstances I will never forgive him for what he has done" "I'm not asking you to forgive him, I'm asking you to give him a chance" "he has gotten one too many-" "then spare him another, spare him one where he has a real chance to make a change" she pleaded as her eyes felt and showed nothing but pain and hope "give him a chance when no one else will".
"I'm not asking much of you, Sif, just pleading with you that you give him a chance, one I hope you find in your heart to give" Enchessa walked away with that, she didn't have the strength in her to deal with these kind of things right now.

Her legs carried her to wherever they wanted, meaning to no place in mind. "What to do, what to do" she mumbled as her eyes continued to scan the golden halls of the palace, the beautiful statues and lush gardens that filled the place as maids were cutting and trimming the many rose bushes in the variety of colours they had.
"Enchessa, be a dear and come with me" she was confused as to why she would ask that "may I ask 'why' my queen?" She asked while she followed the queen from behind "you'll see" Frigga smirked as her hands clasped together over her stomach, her heels clicking on the golden tiled floor.
The walk they took wasn't long, but wouldn't be considered short either. "My apologies for asking your highness-" "Frigga" she interrupted with her back still facing her as they walked "right, sorry. But where exactly are we going?" Enchessa asked as she looked at the back of Frigga's head. "You will see my dear" the queen smiled as her she turned right on the next T-intersection that divided the hallways.
"But Frigga-" "hush, you will see when we get there" she smiled at the slightly irritated posture of the princess behind her "have some patience my dear, when we arrive, you will like what you have for offer" the queen grinned at the girls' awkward smile "as you say".

Enchessa was wonder struck as the gold seemingly glowed, it was more vibrant than anything she had ever set her eyes on. The gold she knew back in her home never looked this beautiful, nevertheless this stunning as it sparkled and shimmered in a way she never thought possible.
"You ready?" She never realized that they had stopped in front of great double birch doors "where are we your majesty?" "You'll know" Frigga smiled warmly "after all, you should remember" she was confused as to why she would say that, for all she knew, she has never been to Asgard in her entire existence.
"What do you-" "hush darling, you'll see" with a flick of her hand, the great doors opened themselves and revealed a long golden hallway. Filled with aisles' oak shelves that reached one end of the room to the other. "Wow" she stood there astonished at how the room the size of massive ballroom held all sorts of books "so many books..." she trailed off as her feet subconsciously walked forward, while her eyes remained on the oak shelves.
Her hands slid along the smooth wood as the smell of the books reminded her of home, the sweet pine smell that filled her senses "I'm in love already" she mumbled with a smile "as I am" she turned and spotted Loki standing there with a few books in one hands as the other had one opened up as if he was reading as he walked around "really" she smirked with a hand on her hip "yes" he answered with his signature smirk "okay then" she flipped him off as she walked passed him, wondering through the room as the shelves upon shelves filled with books were going to keep her busy for a while.
Her hands glided against the wood as her eyes held the most precarious wonder she could've ever though imaginable. Her whole existence was shaking with curiosity as she had the urge to read every book placed on the shelves of the glorious library that looked as though it could hold every single book ever written "gods" she squealed as she skipped along the many shelves that had their books for offer "I'm going to die" she hopped onto the shelf height ladders as she slid along on the railing, enjoying the small wind created as she flew.
Loki watched with the corner of his eyes as they followed her every move, watching how her eyes glowed when they saw something she liked "I know this one!" She exclaimed while pulling it off the shelf. He smiled to himself as he watched her with his full attention. His eyes trailing every movement, every little turn and twist with full adoration as she somehow brought a smile to his face, one he hadn't used in long while.
"Like that one" he asked while he walked to her "yes! Very much" her smile illuminating his insides as he felt.. what seemed to be a form of joy.
He felt like he was whole again, his life finally having it's long lost meaning as he saw something he never thought to see. "You alright?" Enchessa asked with a concerning smile "never been better" he answered with toothy grin, her smile widened when she saw it, 'it', that smile she thought she would never witness "what're you smiling at, love?" He asked while tilting his head a little to the side "nothing" she blushed at the nickname "you sure" the back of his phalanx' caressed her cheek and pushed a strand of her raven hair behind her ear.
"L-Loki" she closed her eyes and tried to control her feelings as she felt a blush forming "yes, love?" He smirked at her flaming face "w-what-what are you-ohh" she let out a shaky breath as he pulled her closer, threading his fingers into her hair from the back of her neck "nothing" he mocked with a devilish smile.
His long arm wrapped itself around her waist and gently pulled her to him, lifting her up slightly to her toes as his hand cupped her cheek "Loki" she whispered as he leaned down to her ear "yes" his hot breath sent chills' running up and down her spine she pressed her forehead into the crook of his neck. He held her close to him as if he needed to, his thoughts told him he had to, that something bad was going to happen. He had a gut feeling that something was wrong "Enchessa" he murmured into her ear "yeah" her eyes remained closed as she breathed in his musky scent, a deep rich pine as the smell reminded her of the mountain forests back home in Vanaheim.
"Somethings wrong" her brows creased together as her arms wrapped around his neck "like?" "Something doesn't feel right" and bet he was correct. A loud explosion rang through the halls as the book shelves wobbled with the force, begging to come tumbling down, taking the books with it. "Loki!?" She was alarmed, as she held onto his shirt "it's okay, The Alfather is probably handling it as we speak, there's nothing to worry about" he cupped her face in his hands, looking into her worry filled grey eyes of hers.
[A/N: Sorry for these slow updates, I'm trying, but it's so hard when other books and movies are screaming for me to come and watch them, enjoy this chapter...for now :)
