When I have a goal
I aim to achieve it
But this one
I'll need to extend

I promised to finish
My scuba diving certification
This summer
But it's simply
Not doable

Tuition is taking the money
Need more time to practice
Out of my phobia
I am not ready

Not this year

I am not giving up
I waited 3 years
To start my PhD
Illness didn't cooperate

Now I'm being smart
I can wait
I need to save
I need time

I can dive on my
Partial cert right now
A lot can happen in a year

But I make my decisions
With careful thought process
And this goal will have to wait
Till 2018
