Fear is rampant

Right now in this country

As is hatred

And anger

Every negative emotion

Describable

Is it unfounded

Yes and no

Everyone is allowed to be fearful

Of the unknown

But not without

Strength in self

Have faith

That what you fear

Will not bear fruit

That the hot air blown

In the beginning

Was just used to power

A balloon to a positive future

Have faith

In yourselves to be better people

To help others through difficult times

To stand up for what's right

Have faith

That fear mongering is wrong

That nothing has been done

One way or another yet

Have faith

That this country needs to get strong

And that the only way that can happen

Is if we stand together not

Continue on this divided mess

That us here in the first place

No matter who sits in the oval office

Change cannot happen without us

Us working together

Fighting for the greater good

Leave the propaganda machine

The garbage spewing

Back and forth

In the past

Have faith

That the future

With hard work

Will be great

For us all

Put the hashtags away

Lay down your posters

Go back to class millennials

Entitlement won't win you any favors

Stand together America

If you doubt everything

If you fight against him

If you continue on the negative path

Than whatever positive things

He would do

Will be undermined

Have faith

Be thankful for the fact

That we live in democracy

Where we can vote

Instead of being forced into a corner

Can we all stand together?

Whether you like him or not?

What would it hurt if you stood together?

Or perhaps you're afraid that you may be wrong?

That he will actually do a great job and undermine

All of your negative thoughts

Have faith

Be thankful

Love

Find peace

Within yourselves to heal

Many of us

Wake up each morning

Thankful to just be alive

To be awake

To breathe

To be able to get out of bed

The rest

Is small fries

Stand together America

And always

Have faith
