Glenn

Nicholas and I stand on that dumpster, hopeless. One part of my mind tries to figure a way out, the other part says I'm going to die.

I see Nicholas just stare at the walkers. I yell his name, trying ty o get his attention to help me figure a way out. He finally looks at me but pulls his out his gun and points it at his head. I scream "No!"

"Thank you." He whispers and he pulls the trigger. His body falls forward, and I reach out to catch him but miss and he falls off. Into the walkers who devour his dead body. I stare in shock as they pull his stomach out and I think I throw up a little.

I go to look away and find myself staring at the fence to my right. There are no walkers there and it's only a couple of feet away.

I walk to my left till my foot hits the edge and I feel hands grabbing at my leg. I run forward and make a flying leap to the fence. Time freezes and I can feel the adrenaline pulsing through my veins.

My hands grab onto the chain linked fence and my feet struggle to find a hold. Walkers try to pull at my feet and legs to drag me down. I kick them off and loose a shoe in the process.

I scramble up the fence and reach the top where I then pull one leg over and straddle the rail at the top. The noise only attracted three walkers on the safe side of the fence and I pull my gun out and shoot them. They all fall lifelessly to the ground.

I climb down halfway and then jump the off, running as soon as my feet touch the ground. I want to get far away as possible.

Maggie

My head is pounding. I hold my gun to my side as I run down the street. A wolves member comes out of a house to my right and comes charging at me with a metal pipe in hand. I shoot him in the head and continue running.

My side hurts and I want to throw up. What's wrong with me? I've been through harder and never felt like this. I almost shoot another wolves member in a black jacket but they remove the handkerchief and I hear Carol say my name.

"Carol? " she nods her head and beckons me over. I run towards her and she hands me another gun and runs off towards two other Wolves members. I run the other direction and kill two more wolves and a walker.

Soon the invasion is over and I head back to Glenn's and my home, still keeping my gaurd up. I reach the front door and carefully open it.

After I check the house I lay down on the bed and close my eyes. It's a bloodbath out there. "Almost worst than a woman on her period. " I joke to myself. Then it hits me.

I'm late. Like really late.

I jump up and grab my bag from under the bed. I dig around for the pregnancy tests I keep in there and rush to the bathroom closing the door behind me.

With trembling hands I open the box and read the directions.

A couple of minutes later I stand at the sink looking at the results.

Positive. All three of them. Positive.

I sit down hard on the toilet.

I can't be. I can't bring a baby into the world while it's like this. We barely got Judith through it so far.

Glenn.

Oh my God what will he think! We didn't think one time without protection would do anything! Does he want to be a father? What if he doesn't and leaves me? I strip off my cloths , not wanting to think like this anymore, and turn on the shower.

Glenn

I can see the walls. They are so close. I stole a car along the way and was driving it now. I start to laugh as I see the gates come closer, ignoring the dozen of walkers that try to follow me. I drive up to the gates and yell out the window.

"Hey dumb asses! Open up! It's Glenn!"

The gates clink and the first gate slides open, reviling Morgan. He opens up the second gate and lets me pull through.

I hop out the car and run to my house. Along the way I see burning bodies and a sudden wave of panic takes over me as I begin to worry that Maggie is in trouble.

I reach the house and find that the door is locked. I stumble for the key under the flower pot, and with shaking hands I open the door.

The house seems quite and untouched. My worry begins to disappear and I run up the stairs, calling Maggie's name.

"Glenn!" I hear her call from the bedroom. I open the door to find Maggie standing there. Her hair is wet and she has on a fresh pair of clothes.

She tackles me in a big hug and kisses me hard on the lips I kiss back and pull my fingers through her wet hair.

She pulls away with a huge smile on her face.

Maggie

He explains to me what happened and after that I held him as he cried. Talking about how he thought he would never see me again and how he could've saved Nicholas. I comforted him and when he finally calmed down I told him what happened here.

"Glenn, I have to tell you something. " I say. My stomach does flip flops and I bite at my lip.

"Anything ." He says , taking my hand in his.

"I- I. I'm pregnant. " I blurt out.

He looks at me with a shocked expression.

'He's really gonna leave me.' I thought to myself. ' He's gonna say how we can't afford to have a baby in a world like this.'

But to my surprise, he grabs my face and kisses me gently.I kiss back.

"That's great!!" He exclaimes after we pull apart. "I've always wanted to be a dad! What are we gonna name it? What room theme is it gonna have? We need baby clothes and-"

"Whoa there," I say, cutting him off. "We still have 9 months!"

"I know, I'm just so happy right now!" He says kissing me again.

It feels like I'm whole again and not like someone who lost all their family like I did a few hours ago.
