Here they all were, or, what was left of them, trudging down the road to reach the bunker on foot.

They had been walking for ten minutes now, just another ten, then they should be able to find the bunker.

"Are you alright, Tae?" Jeongguk asked, gripping his thighs more tightly once he pushed him up a little.

"Hmmh. I'm doing fine. The question is, how are you?" Jeongguk chuckled, a breath escaping his throat once he needed to jump over something whilst carrying Taehyung on his back.

He suggested it, knowing that it would be better than supporting him with two people. That would mean the brunette still had to hop himself, and they all knew it would take ages like that.

So, Jeongguk offered a piggyback ride.

And Taehyung's eyes had lit up like a little kid at that suggestion.

"I'm doing fine. But, it would be great if you could lessen the grip you have around my neck. It's getting hard to breathe."

"Oh, sorry." Taehyung immediately did as asked, a small laugh escaping him when he heard the boy take a dramatic breath in.

"We should be able to see it now." Namjoon stopped in his tracks, glancing around.

They all helped him look, trying to peek through the trees.

"Let's walk into that direction." He commented, already walking ahead.

They reached an open place. A small river contrasted perfectly with the greens around it, it was a beautiful scenery. But to the boys, what was even more beautiful right now, was the scene of another bunker right at their side. It faced the river.

Jeongguk held his breath, carefully lifting Taehyung back down to the ground.

Jimin supported his friend whilst Jeongguk walked towards the scan for his hand. Namjoon and Seokjin stood ready, prepared to fight if they had to.

"Here goes nothing." Jeongguk whispered, placing his hand on the scan.

The white line went up and down, it flashed blue once it was done.

Permission to enter granted.
Opening up the bunker.

Oh, how familiar that sounded.

When he looked back, he saw the others standing there with hope all over their faces.

The door opened slowly. Once it hit the ground, he, along with Namjoon and Seokjin, entered.

Please step in the next room for the further decontamination process.

Jeongguk held up his hand, trying to peek through the doors to see anything that wasn't supposed to be there, just like the last time.

He slowly walked ahead, doing as the bunker instructed.

This time, his gut didn't warn him. Instead, he got a rather hopeful feeling inside of him, this bunker reminding him of the one he resided in for that long.

He gestured for Jimin and Taehyung to hide, so they'd be safe for now.

Once the bunker closed and they finished the decontamination process, they entered.

"No Virtue, there isn't anything right now." Jeongguk answered, cautiously looking around.

He opened up every door, peeking inside to see if there wasn't any creature lurking around, ready to attack them at any second.

It was simply too good to be true. There was no way it was this easy.

Finally, he opened up the last door. The door which would lead to all of the food.

He pressed the handle down, stepping inside.

It was a good thing that he had quick reflexes.

"Fuck!" He cursed out loud. Namjoon and Seokjin rushed to his side immediately, killing two walkers themselves.

The three stared at the three dead walkers, 'phew'ing once they were safe.

"I knew there had to be something." Jeongguk mumbled.

He nearly didn't dare to look at the food to see what was left.

But he had to.

And so he did.

His eyes widened, breath picking up.

"The food- there's still so much." He looked back at the others in ultermate joy.

"Let's drag these three rotten corpses outside, then we'll get Jimin and Taehyung inside."

With that, they all took one body, holding their breath because of the terrible smell.

"Virtue, can you open the bunker?" Jeongguk asked, not being able to contain his sudden joy.

The sound of the previously closed door opening again, made Jeongguk smile widely. He couldn't wait until his other friends entered, until he could close the door for real.

The bunker opened completely and the three men dragged the creatures outside, throwing them aside and looking around for the other two men.

"Tae? Jimin! It's safe, come on out!" Seokjin yelled.

A few blonde hairs appeared from behind a bush and soon enough those few hairs turned into an entire head.

"Coming!" Jimin shouted back, supporting Taehyung.

They all entered again, standing inside, waiting till Jeongguk gave the command.

They took a last glance outside, Namjoon patted Jeongguk's shoulder.

"Virtue, can you close the bunker, please?"

With that, they watched as the door came off of the ground, slowly sealing the entire place off.

"We're safe." Jeongguk said breathlessly.

"We're- we're safe." He repeated it, not quite believing it himself.

"Holy shit, we're fucking safe!" He shouted, looking at the others.

Jimin and Taehyung went through the decontamination process as last and then they all sat down in the main room of the bunker, looking around.

"We did it." Namjoon whispered, not being able to believe it.

That's all it took for them to break down in tears, but this time because of relieve. Happiness.

They did it.

They were safe.

For a long, long time.

They had food and water, access to a shower and a functioning toilet. There were spare clothes and enough beds for everyone.

The bunker's system roared once more, a smile appearing on Jeongguk's face.

They had many questions.
But right now, all they wanted was to celebrate.

It was guaranteed that they lived, for what seemed like months.

And they couldn't be happier at the moment.

The questions would come later, all they wanted to do right now was freshen up and do all the things they weren't able to do in a long time.

And they were for sure as hell going to enjoy every single second of it.
