Ste POV

I can feel a weight beginning to lift from my eyes. It feels like i am slowly awakaning. With every minute i feel the energy to open my eyes. Every time Doug squeezes my hand i feel my life ebbing back. Doug has not left my side once, he comforts me and tells me what the weather is like and how ignorant the nurses are. He makes me smile. I can't wait to see his ocean blue eyes light up. I want to kiss him and tell him how i feel. That time is coming closer and closer. I can feel the sunlight shining on my eyelids. Almost there. Slowly i fluttered my eyes open. Clouds bobbed lazily in the clouds the sun trying to break through. My body was attatched with lots of wires, my body was bruised and i could begin to feel a growl of hunger in the pit of my stomach. My legs and arms looked frail and weaked. My eyes then scanned over to the sleeping form of Doug. His skin was tinged grey and he looked like he hadn't shaved for weeks. His clothes hung loosely of his skinny frame and one of his arms was in a sling. I tapped him lightly on the hand. Slowly he looked up, when he saw me he blinked several times. "Ste! Are you awake or am i dreaming?" asked Doug

"Nope! Ere' i am! And Doug." i grinned

"Yes?" questioned Doug

"I love you too." i smiled. Doug turned a violent shade of red

"Y-you heard what i said?" stuttered Doug

"Yup. Every word, Doug i love you, always have always will. Until the day we die. " i laughed. Doug smiled, slowly we leaned in, our eyes both already closed. Our lips connected and i felt the same feeling in my stomach as i did when we kissed for the first time. I placed my hands on his cheeks and he placed one hand (as the other was in a sling) on my waist. Our lips moved in unison as our tongues fought for dominance. I was winning of course! We got so into it that we didn't notice the nurse walk in. She coughed loudly. Embarassed we broke away. "So Ste, you feeling ok? Well i'm sure your feeling fine because you know. I'll give you two some time alone." babbled the nurse and promptly left the ward. I laughed loudly and Doug joined in. "You know, that's the first time i've laughed in a while."sighed Doug, "I don't think i could ever loose you again. "

"And you never will." i promised. Doug squezzed up and snuggled up next to me. I felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. I looked lovingly down at Doug, i was never going to let him go.

Heeyah! Bonjour! ¡Hola! So who's still mourning over Doug's death? I AM :'(:'( I had to through some of those ironic lines in there "I was never going to let him go" wahh *crying* has anyone seen the storyline for James Suttton in January, you should check it out if you haven't! Won't be updating next week because I'M ON HOLIDAY!! *Holiday dance*

So this book has only really got a couple of chapters left :( but everything is sorted for the sequel so yazzooo! I'm going to stop writing because i need to do french homework!
