Alright folks! You know what time it is! It's hero time...

Whoops wrong intro, alright this is chapter will involve the USJ incident and a small bit of the Sports Festival arc at the end. Hopefully you people enjoy this story as much as I do writing it.

Devin woke up harshly as he groans slightly. Recovery Girl walked over seeing Devin awake as she smiled at him.

"Hungry?" Recovery Girl asks as Devin nodded slightly being handed a plate of food from the Cafeteria, "Boy, you gave everyone a scare a couple of days ago."

"..." Devin was silent looking down as Recovery Girl sensed the dismay coming off of Devin, "You were out for two days."

Devin looks at Recovery Girl with wide eyes as she frowns sitting next to him.

"You had seven cut marks and nine bruises over your body," Recovery Girl then added causing Devin to frown slightly as tears fell onto the sheets, "You can't weep over something you can't control. You can only see it as another major obstacle you have to overcome."

"...Thank you," Devin said quietly as he nodded a bit understanding wiping his tears, "Anyone come by and visit?"

"Yes, everyone from Class 1-A came to check on you," Recovery Girl said as Devin raised an eyebrow causing the woman to laugh slightly, "Yes, even the Katsuki Bakugo boy also."

"Alright, thought I heard correctly," Devin said finished eating as Recovery Girl grabs the tray letting Devin finish his drink quickly. Knocks then echoed throughout the room as Recovery Girl walked over to the door.

"Ready for some visitors?" Recovery Girl asks as Devin nods. she opens the door speaking to her left as the entire Class 1-A student body came into the room with Mina and Momo rushing Devin in a hug.

"Devin! You're awake!" Mina said worriedly as Devin was blushing insanely hard from the two girls hugging him.

"Did give us quite a scare as well as hard time during the trials," Kirishima said as the girls released him smiling, "How are you holding up?"

"Sore but I will live," Devin replied as Kirishima nodded.

"We should apologize for pushing you to pass your limits once again," Tenya said bowing quickly as Devin laughs a bit which caused everyone to look at Devin.

"Apologize? Really, I should be the one thanking you," Devin said to Iida, "Don't feel bad about what happens to my body. That'll be something that I'll probably deal with for the rest of my life until I can surpass that weakness."

"But...?" Iida said as Devin took the blanket off himself thanking All Might that he was wearing his black pants. He slowly raises up grimacing in pain as he places his bare feet on the cool floor. Slowly he stood up hearing his bones cracking from the lack of movement.

"No buts," Devin said walking over to Iida placing his hand on his shoulder smiling, "Don't apologize for something i can't control."

Recovery Girl smiled nodding at Devin as Iida looked at him smiling.

"Alright glad you're alright Devin," Iida said hugging the teen who was wide eyed slightly but hugged back.

"We all are," Deku said as everyone nodded, "Well most everyone."

Bakugo scoffed slightly smirking at Devin.

"I'll be honest," Bakugo said frowning walking over to Devin, "I don't care about your survival or anything else for the matter."

Devin frowns slightly as Bakugo smiled wickedly.

"But you have earned my respect," Bakugo added extending his hand to Devin, "Glad you're still kicking."

"Thanks?" Devin said shaking Bakugo's hand as Bakugo laughed a bit.

"Even the newbie is scared of a simple handshake," Bakugo said as Devin raised an eyebrow.

"We should get to class," Jirou said as Devin eyed Recovery Girl who tossed his shirt to him.

"You've been released already since you can walk," Recovery Girl said, "Take it easy for a bit."

Devin nods slightly putting his black turtleneck on as Iida gave him his UA jacket smiling. Devin nods thanking Iida as he puts it on walking with Class 1-A to class. After a few minutes, the class reach their homeroom listening to Devin talk about his home.

"You lived in clay houses?" Ochako asks as Devin nodded, "Cool."

"We lived by nature's laws for years using the resources presented to us," Devin replied as the class entered the room.

"How about you stand at the front and continue telling us about yourself?" Iida suggests as Devin nodded walking to the front, "Any other topic you want to ask me?"

"Your quirks are fascinating," Momo said being honest as Devin smiled, "Can we get a little insight on them?"

"Eh, why not," Devin said, "For those who don't know or don't listen to Mr. Aizawa. I'm an Avainian, a clan that protects the two quirks out of the Hereditary Quirk Series."

"Hereditary Quirk?" Kirishima questions, "I thought all quirks were hereditary?"

"Not all of them," Devin said, "Some quirks are produced through marriages and those would be considered Hereditary quirks. My quirks are a bit more different from those kinds of quirks. All the males in my family are Yin quirk users prominently fathers and sons going down the line."

"Wow, so what about the Yang quirk?" Mina asks, "Is that only for the mother to daughter line?"

"Yes," Devin replied smiling, "However, as fate would have it my mother and father were two possessors of the quirks were they married and had me."

"So, you're another quirk married child?" A male with red and white hair with heterochromatic eyes one being brown and the other a light blue color. A red mark was over the skin where the light blue eye was as Devin nodded, "Did you face criticism from others around you?"

"Yes, i did," Devin said, "Todoroki is it?"

The male nods slightly frowning at him.

"You understand me a bit," Devin said as Todoroki nodded, "But yes, I faced criticism from people around me especially the other children. I was picked on for being different but I never raised a hand in violence never once."

"How come?" Bakugo asked curious seeing how violent Devin was first hand.

"Simple, because I knew I could easily beat them," Devin said, "At age five, I could take on five adults at once and never break a sweat. Because that was my training as well as discipline for the Yin quirk."

Devin began snickering a bit.

"And plus I figure the violent one would ask the 'How come' question," Devin replied causing Bakugo to laugh a bit, "But does that satisfy your needs?"

"It does," Bakugo said as Mr. Aizawa enters the room nodding at Devin.

"Glad to see you up and moving around," Mr. Aizawa said as Devin nodded, "What's been going on here since you all came fifteen minutes earlier?"

"They were asking me questions about my life before coming here and about my quirks," Devin replied as Mr. Aizawa nodded.

"Alright, why don't you take your seat then you can continue your explanation afterwards," The Erase Hero said as Devin nodded walking up to his seat and sitting down, "Alright, you all need to decide on a Class President and Vice President for your class."

The class began discussing possible candidates as Ochako stood up.

"What about Devin or Deku for the president and Momo for the Vice President?" Ochako suggests as most of the class agreed. Devin shook his head violently.

"I wouldn't be a great president," Devin said being humble a bit, "Though i do agree with Izuku and Momo as the representatives."

"Why don't see yourself as a president?" Tenya Iida asks as Devin sighs.

"Well, being the clanson of Aviane," Devin said, "Naturally, I would've been a leader anyways. So, why do I deserve that leadership role in a school environment when there's someone else that is more better for the job than me."

"..." The student body fell silent staring at Devin with wide eyes.

"...What?" Devin asked genuinely confused as Mr. Aizawa sighed a bit.

"They're shocked by your humbled personality," Mr. Aizawa said smiling a little bit. Devin blushes a bit in embarrassment chuckling a bit.

"Oh..." Devin smiled slightly as the class began snickering amongst themselves.

"Alright," Mina said, "So, it's Izuku and Momo for the final decision?"

Everyone nodded as Mr. Aizawa nodded looking at the two.

"It will be Izuku for Class President and Momo for Vice President," Mr. Aizawa said as Deku and Momo went to the front with Deku showing his nervousness very hard. Devin snickered a bit just as the bell rung releasing everyone for lunch.

"I-I don't know if I can handle the responsibility," Izuku said stuttering as he, Devin, Ochako, and Iida ate together.

"You'll be great Midoriya!" Iida said with praise causing Ochako and Devin to look at Iida with curiosity.

"You seem formal about this," Ochako said to Iida as Iida smiled.

"Of course," Iida said, "I come from the prestigious Iida family that have been in Heroics for generations."

"Really?" Devin said now looking at the Engine Quirk hero with curiosity as Iida nodded.

"Yep," Iida said, "My inspiration for being a hero comes from my big brother, Tensei Iida, who is a famous Hero in the family."

Ochako, Deku, and Devin smiled at Iida but jumped when an alarm sounded indicating someone had passed through the UA Barrier. All the students became disorganized as they rushed towards the nearest exit. Devin calmly got up and walked behind the disgruntling students.

(Timeskip... Majorly)

Everyone reentered class 1-A as Devin looked at Iida.

"Nice way of handling the situation, Class President," Devin said as Deku made the announcement of his stepping down and giving the position to Iida, "Just don't let it get to your head."

"What do you mean?" Tenya asks Devin who chuckled.

"Lets use the Battle Trials as an example," Devin said as Iida laughed a bit.

"Good point," Iida said as Mr. Aizawa sighed.

"Alright, the next lesson in your Foundation of Heroics will be the Trial of Rescue," Mr. Aizawa said, "So, go get changed into your hero costumes-"

"Actually, can I stop by the costume design building?" Devin asks as Mr. Aizawa nodded with Devin running. After ten minutes, Devin ran back jogging to a stop as everyone looked at him with wide eyes, "What?"

"It took you ten minutes..." Iida said impressed as Devin chuckled a bit.

"Yeah, there's more to my quirks than just what I stated," Devin said smirking.

"Have you told them your heritage?" Mr. Aizawa asked with a raised eyebrow.

"...No, I rather keep that to myself till the time is right," Devin said as Mr. Aizawa nodded. Devin was holding his bag was a note on it from Mei Hatsume as the girls got suspicious looking at Devin with giggling looks.

"And get your minds out of the gutter," Devin said sighing, "I had a request unfortunately Mei was the only person who picked up the phone."

"Oh really?" Mina questioned then quickly yelped seeing Devin's right eye changed to a gray hue blending harmoniously with his dark blue eye color, "Alright point taken."

"Thank you," Devin said smiling as the class went to change. Denki quickly grabbed Devin's shoulder as the dark blue haired teen looked at Denki who was smiling.

"What did Mr. Aizawa mean by your heritage?" Denki asks as Devin sighs a bit; however, he looked at the rest of the guys who all held the same smile on their faces. Devin slowly raised his hand to his left eye thinking slightly having a frown on his face. The guys noticed Devin's lips form in to a smile as Devin gently brushed the left side of his hair behind his ear. The guys' eyes widen a bit as they noticed Devin's left eye was closed having a cut that went from the upper left to the lower right diagonally.

"Dude," Denki said as Devin gently grabbed Denki's hand placing it over his left eye, "That's not a tattoo..."

"Nope, i got this scar along with the severed arm at the age of thirteen," Devin said as he released Denki's arm then smiled, "But that hasn't stopped me from attending school."

The guys began walking into the changing room as Iida frowned slightly.

"So, what happened that caused the accident?" Iida asked boldly as Devin stops placing his bag on a bench. Devin sighed slightly looking at the guys who were crowding him slightly some in the process of changing.

"Well, it was the night of my inheriting the Yin Quirk," Devin said, "my dad and I finished our spar to see if I was ready to lead the clan..."

Devin kept explaining what he witnessed when he was thirteen as the guys listened. Devin made hand gestures as he explained recalling every detail in his mind. When he finished explaining leaving the revenge detail out, he looked at the guys as most of them had tears in their eyes with a couple of guys looking at him in shock.

"Now you know the truth," Devin said sighing a bit then felt a hand on his shoulder as he looks at the male that had multiple arms conjoined as one.

"We're so sorry that you had to go through that," the male said squeezing on Devin's shoulder, "No child should have gone through that. We hope you can find peace with us as your friends

"..." Devin looked at the guys who smiled at him as Devin went wide eyed slightly. Tears began forming in his right eye as he smiled at them, "Thank you..."

The guys introduced themselves properly as Devin smiled a bit laughing.

"We should get changed," Tokoyami said as the guys shouted slightly changing quickly.

The girls along with Mr. Aizawa was waiting as the guys came running towards them. Jirou checks her phone as the girls giggled amongst themselves.

"You're late," Mr. Aizawa said as Devin explains to the Erase Quirked teacher, "Alright, you're excused on that."

"Lucky! How come you get know his backstory!?" Ochako yelled as the guys snickered.

"He trusts us," Denki said as Devin sighed through the scarf. His gloves were redesigned to included gray bracelet that were the same size as his hands. A dark blue line encircled the bracelets as Devin smiled. His boots were redesigned to included anklets also matching the design of his bracelets. The jacket and shirt were restitched to fit Devin better since he wore his father's old fighting gear. The girls noticed that the turtleneck was shimmering a bit as well as revealing Devin's upper body.

"Hey, what did Mei do to your hero costume?" Mina asks Devin.

"Well, she and the other guy redesigned the clothes since these were my father's old fighting gear," Devin said, "The black turtleneck is now made of a breathable and very lightweight polyester material. Same goes with the jacket."

"Nice," the invisible girl said.

"What's with the bracelets and anklets?" Jirou asks as Devin smirked slightly.

"That's a secret," Devin said as they boarded the bus.

(Another timeskip... Majorly)

The students enter the Central Plaza looking around as Devin whistled in marvel.

"Never have I ever seen a building specifically for rescue protocols," Devin said in awe as everyone nodded.

"Why thank you Devin," a male said as the class and Mr. Aizawa looked at a being that wore a space suit looking like an astronaut, "I'm Thirteen by the way, one of the teachers that will be teaching you..."

Devin's mind quickly blocked out Thirteen's explanation frowning slightly. His mind began thinking something bad was about to happen and this wasn't the first time that this had happened. There were other times but this moment was the worst and for good reason.

As soon as Thirteen finished his explanation, a black portal opens up as Mr. Aizawa looks at it in horror. Bunches of villians began pouring out of the portal as Devin's eyes widen.

"This is a real situation!" Mr. Aizawa yelled, "Protect the students especially Devin, Thirteen! And get help!"

Devin's eyes burrowed then widen in horror seeing two specific villians. The black being with yellow eyes as well as the male wearing the blackish purple skintight suit having hands over his body.

"N-No..." Devin said as Thirteen saw this and grabbed Devin pulling him towards the rest of Class 1-A.

"Hmm, All Might was supposed to be here..." One of the villians said as Mr. Aizawa realized that they were the ones who broke through the barrier.

"Maybe he'll show up if we killed the children," Another said disappointed that All Might didn't show up. Mr. Aizawa then was surrounded by villians as he prepares to fight.

"Get the students to safety and get help!" Mr. Aizawa yells at Thirteen who nodded. Shota began taking on groups of villians at a time with the villians realizing who they were dealing with.

Thirteen and the entire class began trying to run towards the exit. However, the dark being wearing the bartender suit quickly surrounded the class and the pro hero. Devin's eyes widen noticing the villian.

"Kurogiri..." Devin whispered as his hands tighten into fists.

"We're the League of Villians and our mission is to kill All Might," Kurogiri said as Kirishima and Bakugo attempted to strike him but failing horribly. Kurogiri uses his quirk and transports most of Class 1-A to the different zones in the USJ. However, Devin quickly used his Yang quirk putting several shields around himself and some of the other students as well as Thirteen remaining unaffected.

"Thanks!" The group remaining said.

"Sorry about not getting the others in time," Devin said as he motions his hands releasing the shields. Kurogiri noticed this appearing next to the guy in the body suit having multiple hands on it.

"Tomura, have you noticed the kid," Kurogiri said as the male frowned nodding.

"Yes, what about it Kurogiri?" Tomura responds as Kurogiri whispers to him, "There's no possible way that an Avainian was able to survive."

"Sir, i know the Yang Quirk when I see it..." Kurogiri said as Tomura rubbed his head, "What shall you do?"

"Get that kid with the dark blue hair!" Tomura yells at some of the villians. The villians look at Devin rushing towards him.

"Watch out Devin!" Mezo yelled as Devin quickly turned jumping backwards dodging a villian who had a transformation quirk that increased his strength.

"You won't win that easily!" The villian yells as Devin lands growling. Devin rushes towards the small group of villians which contained about five villians within it.

"Hmph... Fifty percent release," Devin said as his body releases the gray energy with his left eye opening. The bracelets and anklets glowed as they energized Devin's gloves and boots. Devin leans back taking on an unusual stance which no one recognized easily.

"What's that stance?!" One of the villians yelled out of mockery. By this point, Thirteen had ordered Iida to run and get help as Iida was skeptical about running. The other students encouraged Iida to as Devin frowns.

"It's alright Iida to run and get help in certain situations," Devin yelled in an encouragement supporting manner, "Now go!"

"Right!" Iida yells and runs towards the exit with Kurogiri on his tail. Thirteen blocks his path as the two began fighting.

"As for your question..." Devin said as the mask energizes onto his jaw and his voice changes to a robotic style, "Come and find out..."

The five villians growled and rushed Devin who held his ground. Two villians jumped towards Devin while the other three tried to rush him on foot. However, the area around Devin darkens as a massive Yin Yang symbol appears underneath Devin catching the villians off guard.

"Gotcha, my favorite move from a manga I used to read... Eight Trigrams 64 Palm!" Devin yelled as his body began spinning around with his fingertips striking all points of the villians' bodies in the matter of seconds. After the sixty-fourth strike, Devin straightens his body as the villians dropped one by one not being able to move.

"Incredible..."  Ochako said in awe. Devin looked at Togura frowning as Togura began walking towards him.

"Who are you?" Togura asks as Devin frowns.

"Aviane," Devin simply said as Togura's hands grabbed his head, "I'm the last one of my people. Now..."

Devin's fists glowed energizing with gray energy. Cracking his knuckles, Devin runs towards Togura as Togura does the same. The two began fighting as Devin quickly lands a punch but gets grabbed by Togura with his right shoulder decayed quickly. Devin growls flips Tomura onto his back harshly.

(Timeskip... Cause I'm over 3000 words by this point)

The incident at the USJ quickly changed once All Might and the rest of the teachers arrived at the scene. Devin had held off Tomura and Kurogiri while All Might dealt with the Artificial Human known as Nomu. Devin fell to one knee as All Might and Deku walked over to him.

"Are you alright Young Ying?" All Might asks Devin as Devin nodded despite the agonizing pain he was in due to his quirks drawbacks.

"Sorry about letting those two get away," Devin said panting, "They're going to pay with their lives for what they have done!"

Devin's fist collides with the ground causing a small crater to form as Devin cried.

"Chelsea... I'm so sorry..." Devin said over and over as All Might walked over after deflating from his muscle form placing a hand on Devin's shoulder.

"I sorry for your lost," Toshinori said as Cementoss covered the three of them beforehand, "Come we need to get checked out by the hospital staff."

Devin nods being helped by Izuku as they headed over to the EMTs.
