Goryhell these damn wolves.

I don't even know why I'm out here? Oh, that's right, because Alex can't get his shoes dirty. Bastard won't do his own dirty work. God, it smells like dogs here, and of course, they're all fighting like dogs do.

Elliot and Derek are going to be livid. Well, I guess they won't know now, will they? Too easy to sneak up on. They won't remember because I told them not to.

God, it's so hot here. I didn't think it could get this miserable, of course, I am wrong, per usual.

I need a sippity sip.

Too bad wolves taste like rot. Good thing there is a port of humans close by.

Now. To business.

"I said stop!"

Jesus these wolves, if they would just listen. I shove my way past the frozen warriors falling over themselves, unable to do anything. "All of your freeze and keep your mouth's shut."

They're struggling now like fish wrapped up in nets. It's almost comical to watch. I almost want to sit here and watch, but I don't have any refreshments which would be needed for me to tolerate this mess.

I walk towards the middle where the three alphas are about to charge at each other. God, they just all needed a reason to get into it, eh? I look at each of them, their eyes looking at me in horror, bodies still frozen in position.

I didn't come here to for this information, but now I have to know.

"Well bloody hell, all of you—what—three packs now in war? Honestly, you are all exhausting." I pinch my nose, the thirst creeping up quickly. It's always been that way since she was taken from me. "All of you—pardon me. I'll be right back."

I zip around the forest, finding more warriors and trackers frozen amongst the trees. My God, it's about to be a damn war here. I'm just here for some damn deer and now we've got a bloody war!

So annoying.

There's a rabbit that's unlucky. I would rather he be a human, but he'll do I suppose. He only screams a little until I break his neck. I carry him back with me and sink my fangs into the extra part of his skin so he won't bleed all over my suit—now I can have a little refreshment while I have a little fun with these morons.

I mean, Alex never said I couldn't have a little jest. Well, he did say to behave—he should know better by now that I don't follow rules well.

I walk back to the middle of the alpha's and look at each of them before I take a small sip from the rabbit. "Right then. Now, I want you," I say to the male with blazing silver eyes—Luca Thorne. Easy enough to spot. "Tell me what this is about."

"My son is his daughter's mate," he says, his eyes looking towards Emmett Everette in the flesh. Angry as hell. He's always angry. "He promised his daughter to him—" he looks to Jeremiah Black—bastard he is.

I don't have much tolerance for wolves, but I especially don't have tolerance for this one. He is vile, and I would know because I am one evil bloody demon when I want to be.

I look at him and see something worse than myself, which isn't good—even I know that's not good. "Alright, go on," I tell Luca.

"He was going to force her to mate Jeremiah on the summer solstice. Before she left her pack—escaped, her father held her prisoner, and her and my son marked each other. She belongs to him and he to her! This is—"

"All right, enough." His lips quiet.

I walk around, I have to make sure they're not lying. I take another sip from the rabbit and walk to a male with Chocolate hair and wild eyes. "You, what's your name? Answer me."

"Christopher Everette."

"Ah, perfect." I take another sip from my rabbit. "Now, is what Luca says true?"

"Yes," he replies.

"Goryhell, really?" I walk back to Emmett Everette. "You were going to force her?! With him?! Do you know what he does to his mates that can't pop out a baby for him?!"

It's worse than many things I have done.

I look around and find the younger version of Luca with a red head's hand in his. As I approach he struggles to growl. His eyes are showing his beast that wants to tear into me—she's just as vicious.

I look her over and she isn't bad on the eyes. Lucky pup he is. "Well, this is her? Answer me."

"Yes," he tells me through his teeth.

"And did you kidnap her in any way? I ask because I overhead earlier."

"No, she came on her own. Her father locked her up, struck her, she—"

"Right, shut up right." I take a look at her cheek and click my tongue. "Oh don't worry love, it will be gone soon enough," I tell her.

"And you are?" I ask the male.

"Levi Thorne."

"Yes, yes I knew that." I honestly didn't but I'm trying to be polite.

I take another sip of my rabbit. "Who are you?" he forces out.

"I'm so rude," I say, taking another long sip. "Right then, well hello to all you filthy bastards. I'm sure some have heard of me, other's will only dream of me after tonight in ways that I hope haunts you."

I walk past a female with a small knife in her fingers that she's about to throw. She's the Luna. You can see that much in her eyes.

"Right, I am Dominic, first progeny of Alexander, the ancient one." I inspect the knife then take it from her dainty fingers. "If you don't mind, I'll return it when I'm done."

Luca tries to growl but I wave him off. I cut a bigger hole in the rabbit then take another long sip. "For some of you that means nothing," I say. "For some of you, that means everything.

"If you can not already tell, the moon—yes you soddy bastard," I say to Emmett. "The moon up there in the sky that birthed you from between her thighs gifted me with this useful knack—you see, I can compel, or command, anyone to do anything that I so desire. For example—this is so fun Emmett, I'm so glad you're here to see it," I say because the man has defiled the name of vampires—of me time and time over and it's time that I defile him.

I step closer to him and put an arm around his shoulder. "Piss your pants," I say, a breathless feeling running over me. I step away and there's a wet patch starting to grow right where his crotch is.

His eyes go wide as I laugh and laugh and laugh until I take another sip. I walk towards Jeremiah, a smile on my lips because I have wanted to torment this wolf for quite some time. "Oh you are a devilish little dog aren't you? You and Emmett have been playing with some of your old friends, haven't you?

"I want you to—no, oh the fun we will have today," I say before I step between them, my mind churning at the best ways to sully him.

"You see, all of you, you may be the law here—the power here. But I can take that away with a breath, even your alphas cannot protect you now. With simple words, I can make them piss their own pants like children."

I take another sip. Some of the wolves are whining, trying to break the compulsion is painful. I almost hope they keep trying, they'll learn soon enough that it's easier to bend to my will.

I finish off the rabbit and sigh. "I'll be back. Sorry, this dirty business makes me thirsty."

I run and find two more rabbits then carry them back. There's a wolf with a knife out close to Luca. I slid the rabbit onto the knife through his neck then give the wolf's shoulder a squeeze. "Mind watching this for me? There you are—good boy."

I sigh and take the other rabbit, fangs descending as I drink into its neck. "Now, I don't really give a flying shit about your little dispute. Although it is interesting enough. But you and I have business Jeremiah, and now you have drug your friends into this."

I turn to Luca and Emmet. "I'm sorry about all this, I'll try to make up for it after I'm done with him. I'm sure you won't mind Luca?" I wait then laugh because I've ordered them to be silent and I know he can't respond.

Weak dogs.

I turn back to Jeremiah. Oh, the fun I'm going to have. I take another sip of the rabbit and step towards him. "I've heard rumors that you and your friends have been playing with things you're not supposed to."

I pause and zip over to the redhead. She's gorgeous. I can't deny that. And I do enjoy teasing her mate enough. "Right, tell me then dear. I've heard that this man, has been taking deer, harvesting things like their brains, stomachs, hooves—nasty bits—and leaving the rest to rot? Tell me."

"We don't know if it's him," she struggles to say through the growl.

"You don't?" He's better at covering his tracks than I thought. "And why not?"

She whines but eventually her lips have to move because I told them too. No one can resist the compulsion, even the ancients. Although they can break it; I've never met another that can break it besides them.

"We found them on my land, near the mountains, and Levi's. There were no tracks. Nothing to trace," she whines out. "The only reason, we think it's Lusa, is because we saw wolves disappearing over their line after they harvested from the deer." She lets out a gasp while I take it all in. "What are you going to do to us?" her voice shakes, eyes wide with this fire that says she's not as scared as she should be.

I tuck a lock of her hair behind her ear. Her mate tries to growl at me but I wave him off. "Take what I want, then leave," I answer, loving how her mind turns the vagueness into horror. "Now silence."

I look up at Levi. He's a lot like his father just better looking—smarter in the eyes. "So, Levi, tell me, do you think Lusa had something to do with this?"

"Yes."

"Why?"

"Jeremiah is a bastard," he struggles to say through a snarl he wants to hurl towards me.

I laugh and clap his shoulder. "Oh I agree, he truly is. Now tell me, how many times did you have her last night? That mark is fresh, you had to have taken her last night."

His lips want to move but his mind is fighting it.

I love creatures like him. I love watching it.

The veins in his forehead are starting to show. He's shaking his head more furiously now while a whine is struggling to come out from her closed lips

I sigh because I can see why he's fighting it. I don't blame him. I was that way with my mate before she was taken from me. "Easy, you don't have to answer that," I tell him. He calms down, a long breath through his nose. "But whisper it, just to me."

His eyes go wide but he's too tired to fight his lips that whisper a number to me. It's now my turn to drop my mouth sightly. "Really? That many?"

"Yes," he mutters.

"And you can walk? Good for you darling. All right, silence—both of you." I pause and take a sip of the rabbit. "I like you two. I don't really know why. I don't really like anyone—in fact, I don't like anyone. Anyhow, know that I won't toil with you further. Actually, God, you're lucky I am feeling charitable today. I mean you are freshly mated—" Honestly Lizzie would have wanted me to be kind to them, and even in her death I cannot deny the things she would have wanted—well, I have trouble denying them. I hope this at least gives her hope wherever her soul is. That and, well, thinking about what I'm going to do to Jeremiah puts me in a lovely little mood.

I take another long sip from the rabbit. The blood is warm and sweet on my tongue. But it's not a human. I need a human.

"You're both going to go home and make love to each other like it's the last night of your lives—it's not, but I promise, you would thank me for this but you won't be able to, because when you turn around, you're going to forget all of this. I was never here. There was never another vampire here besides the two in your cottage—who I have ordered to go to bed so you can thank me for that when you're banging about—you won't remember my scent, but you will remember my name, and you will remember that I am not someone to toil with.

"You will also forget about this deer mess. I am going to handle it, so don't bother with it—" she's whining now, so much that I pause and nod to her. "Well go on, say it."

"It's how we met—I don't want to forget that."

"What do you mean by that, go on?"

"We were both looking into the deer on our pack lines, tracking the scent. We ran into each other. I don't want to forget."

I nod in understanding. Would be a shame to take that moment away. Lizzie would kill me if I did. "Right, I see. Well, you're going to forget all about these deer. There were never deer poached, ever. Instead, you will remember the day you met the same, but instead of tracking deer, you were both hunting and happened to run into each other. The deer are good here, bigger and you both wanted to see if you could take one. Does that work? Go on, tell me, honestly I don't want to be a bastard about this."

"That's fine," she answers quietly.

"Good then, so no deer. I was never here. This mess," I say, waving my arm back towards the alphas, "Is entirely about you my little redhead, but no worries. You father, once he sees the mark on your neck, understands it cannot be undone—" I shoot a pointed look towards Emmett, damn dog—"and because you are his darling daughter, he concedes this happiness to you and tells you not to worry of Jeremiah. In fact, he tells Jeremiah that if Jeremiah is to try to take you, that he will declare war." Oh, this is rich. "Right then, so off, both of you. Go have a little honeymoon for me."

They both turn and soon are running back towards the house from which I came. At least I can say I did a good deed today. I walk towards the alphas but pause at a young wolf and his female. He looks like Levi but younger, more hungry for blood. There's a look in his eyes I find myself admiring. He's bloodthirsty, savage in a way that's unique for a wolf.

"You, who are you?"

"Lander Thorne."

"Lander Thorne," I say. "What were you going to do before I stumbled up here?"

"Tear his kidneys out," he says, his eyes on a Lusa warrior.

My brows go high. Specific he is. He was really going to do it too. I can see that much in his eyes. I like him. I guess I'm finding a lot of wolves I like today. Rare. "Right then, and this is?" I point to the female behind him, just as vicious in the eyes as he.

"My mate," he answers.

"Ah," I say with a nod. "Well, let's not get all the children in this mess," I say to Luca. "Lander Thorne and—darling, what is your name?"

"Claire," she whines out, her beast hating being trapped by the compulsion.

"Right, Lander and Claire—well bloody hell I do like you too. Bloodthirsty little savages aren't you? A shame I can't let you finish what you wanted to do Lander, believe me, that truly pains me. If I wasn't trying to keep this clean, I would let you."

I take a sip from my rabbit and nod to him. "Right then, you two will go home and—well go have some bloody good sex—last night of your life type shag—and you're both going to forget all about this deer business. You're brother dear Lander, met his mate hunting—were you there by chance?"

"Yes," he answers like it pains him.

"Right, you were all hunting," I tell him. "I was never here. You won't remember my scent. This here, this squabble is over here, but as you overheard, her father, upon seeing her mark cannot help but conceded to his darling daughter and tells Jeremiah that if he misbehaves that his pack will declare war. I was never here. Lovely. Right. So off with you ."

They turn and start to run in the direction that Levi and Eve ran to. Job well done I say.

But now for the fun to begin.

I walk over to Luca, his eyes are blazing right at me. "Oh Luca stop, you're going to enjoy this. I can't imagine that you haven't wanted to get a piece of Jeremiah, and this one—" I'm stopped as a growl gurgles in his throat. "What's that?" I turn and cock my head at him. "Oh, Luca what are you planning?"

I look back at Emmett and I can see it in Luca's eyes. He's smarter than Alex thinks. "Tell me Luca, and listen, we're friends now—thank your kids for that, they are quite something. So I won't tell what you disclose and I'll ensure they don't remember, but how are you going to get at this bastard here?"

He struggles longer than his son did. Sweat is rolling off of him by the time his lips move. "His pack. Going to take it from him," he pants out.

"You? You want his land?"

"No," he pants. "His son. I'm going to help his son defeat him."

My eyes go wide. I look back at Chris, eyes big in horror. His father is trying hard to break the compulsion but not even he is strong enough to do that. "Piss your pants again Emmett," I say before I clap for Luca. "Oh, you clever dog. You're going to help his own flesh tear him apart. I love it. It's brilliant. Honestly, lovely work. I'll make sure he doesn't remember. Good Lord, I almost want to be here for that."

I walk over to Chris as piss is drizzling down Emmett's ankles. I snicker a laugh and take another sip from the rabbit before tossing it aside. "So is this true? Go on, tell me—and silence Luca, it's not your turn anymore."

"Yes," he says like he was holding his breath.

"Clever boy, tell me, have you been thinking about this long?"

"Somewhat."

"Somewhat? Go on, explain."

"I knew I needed—" he's pausing, trying to fight it but he can't. "Help—" he pants and looks over at Luca with an apology in his eyes. "Was waiting for the right opportunity."

"And Luca gave you that?"

"Somewhat?"

"Somewhat? Chris, be specific, it's going to come out eventually."

"He gave me an idea," he says before I cut him off. Luca is a smart bastard. An idea is more deadly than an offer.

"Well done Luca," I say before looking at the wild-eyed pup. "Honestly, I hope this works out for you. Don't worry, I'll keep it quiet. But really, well done," I say. "Now be silent."

Casually I go back for the other rabbit hanging on the knife. "Thanks for holding it for me," I say to the wolf with the dagger.

I bite into the rabbit and walk back to Jeremiah. "Now love," I say before I take a long sip. "I know I am everything you hate, which is why I am going to enjoy this.

"Because we both know you've been quite naughty. You've sullied the name of my maker, me, and bondmates who had faith that you were their future—and I honestly don't care about a lot of that but after seeing young Levi and Eve, I find myself in a different light.

"You have sullied so I will sully you." I smile and take another sip of my rabbit. "Orgasm."

His eyes are wide and his body is frozen in place. He's trying to hard to fight it but his body can't help but obey me.

He lets out a series of noises; a grunt, growl, almost a whimper I think. I can smell it, the minute I do I smile. "Never thought a vampire would make you come, yeah?"

He wants to growl but he can't. He's been silenced. It's beautiful.

"Now then," I say. "Have you been poaching the deer?"

"Yes," he huffs out.

"Does Emmett know?"

"Yes."

"Emmett," I say in a playful dramatic way that I know annoys Alex all the time. "Naughty boy, go on and piss yourself again for us."

This time it will hurt. I know that. There's no piss left but his body will struggle to obey.

I hear him whining behind me while I turn back to Jeremiah. "Now, are they your wolves?"

"No."

"Rebel wolves then?"

"Yes."

"Ah." I sigh and take a sip of the rabbit. "How many?"

"Ten."

"Ten?"

"Yes."

"Shite," I breathe out, taking another sip from the rabbit. "When you get back to your pack, I want you to hang all of them, you can choose the reason."

I take a sip and smile as he struggles. "Orgasm," I tell him while I take another long drink from my rabbit.

It hasn't been long since his first one but his body only fights for so long until I can smell the sex in the air. "Right then, so, why are you taking the deer?"

"To feed the rogues."

"How many?"

"Thirty right now."

"Where?"

"In pits. Hidden."

"What of the mountains?"

"None yet."

"Ah," I say with a nod. "And what would you do with said rogues?"

"They are to be dispensed where needed."

Those rebel twats. "To fight vampires I assume."

"Yes."

Part of me wants to tell him to forget it. But part of me also knows that we need to catch these wankers, and the only way to do that is to follow the trail of rogues.

"Orgasm," I say while I think.

This one is more painful for him. His balls aren't going to work properly for a while thanks to me. I smirk. "Have I given you more than a female has yet Jeremiah?"

"No," he answers, he can't help but tell me the truth, it's how the compulsion works.

"Ah, we can fix that," I say. "Now, what to do—" I pause and look around. Jeremiah was always more connected to the rebels than Emmett was. Really, Emmett is just on the frays, but Jeremiah is the line to follow.

"All right. Emmett, you're going to go home. You've seen the mark on your daughter's neck, and you love her. You won't deny her the mate that she obviously adores. At this decision, you call off your agreement with Jeremiah and threaten that if he tries anything stupid, like trying to take your daughter, that you will declare war.

"You're going to forget about me. I was never here. You won't remember my scent, but just my name. When you remember my name, I want a little pee to dribble out of your prick in fear because Emmett Everette, I am a Goddamn nightmare and today you're getting off more than easy.

"You're going to forget about the deer. Your daughter met Levi hunting. This was all about her, nothing more.

"And! When you think of me, I hope you get a little tingly sensation in your balls. Actually, when you think of all vampires, you will get a little tingly sensation down there.

"And all of you!" I say to his men. "Did you hear what I said to him?"

They all nod. "Right," I say. "Go home. If you have mates, go make love to them—honestly, I am spreading the love to today." I take a sip from my rabbit and look back to them. "I wasn't here. Ever. You won't remember my scent, even if you run up on it again. This was about Eve. There are no deer. Eve met Levi hunting.

"Also, Emmett—this is for you too, except you Chris don't listen to this—Chris does not have a deal with Luca. You never heard that. As far as you know, Chris is loyal to you. Emmett, you will forget all of that conversation."

I take another long sip, the toil of today wearing on me. "Right, go home then."

Emmett turns, begrudgingly and walks away with his men. "All right Jeremiah, I think you have more for us—orgasm."

He wants to cry out but can't. It's too many too soon. I smile at his torment. This has to be one of my favorite ways to torture—death by pleasure.

"Jeremiah, you cocksucker, Emmett, your dear friend, has decided to not uphold his deal with you. You will not kill those men on your land, but you will not be poaching anymore—it's annoying so stop. You will continue with what you have agreed to do with the rebels, but you will keep it quiet.

"Eve chose Levi over you. She has a mark and that cannot be undone. Soddy bastard—orgasm." His beast is crying out now. I wonder if his balls will explode? I almost hope they will. Another day, I decide. "This whole event, however, is over Eve. They never found out about the deer, you haven't been caught." Giving him some arrogance will only mean more mistakes.

"Once you found that Emmett would not back you, you decided that she was not worth the trouble because you don't want anyone finding out about the deer, so you went home where you jerked yourself off to the thought of shagging Helen of Troy—you know her, Alex's mate? You hate that she's a vampire, but God she's gorgeous, a whole war just for her. I would know, I was there.

"Every time you think of her, I want your dick to get a little hard. You're going to feel such shame for this. You're supposed to hate our kind, but you just can't help yourself."

I pause and take another long sip. Lizzie would've loved this. Also would have had more fun with them, she was always the creative one in our duo.

"Now, I have more questions for you dear one, but first, orgasm."

He's crying out now. Maybe his balls did explode? Honestly ending his line with him wouldn't be the worst thing.

"Have I made you come more than a female Jeremiah?"

"Yes," he wheezes out.

I chuckle, so satisfied with my work before I take a sip of the rabbit. "Now tell me, what are the rebels planning? Whose in charge this time?"

He's struggling hard this time, harder than before. Interesting...

I cock my head and take another sip, slowly enjoying the rabbit because Jeremiah mutters a word I didn't think was possible.

"What was that?"

"Kings," he murmurs. "They—"

"Stop." No one needs to know more than that. It's too dangerous.

I turn to Luca who is watching with great distress but when his eyes find the wet spot on Jeremiah's crotch, they dance in delight. I smile and stroll to him. "Luca, I think out of all the wolves I have dealt with, I hate you the least. You have lovely children and a lovely new addition.

"I also appreciate your cleverness sir, and I do hope that young Chris can defeat his father. What a sight that will be. Anyhow, you—and all of you!" I say to his men. "There are no deer! This is all because of Levi and Eve, who met hunting!" God, I hate repeating myself but it's necessary. "Emmett has decided to let Eve be, but you still loathe him and your deal with young Chris is still valid. In fact, when you get home, you're going to link him immediately and, I don't know, just 'check in.'

"I was never here—all of you I was never here! This never escalated, none of you will remember my scent. Today was just, overdramatic if anything. You will just remember this as a tiff with Emmett and Jeremiah, and Emmett giving in. All right, did I miss anything?"

"No," Luca stumbles out.

"Right, when you turn, you will remember what I have told you to, and forget what I have instructed, all of you!" I take another sip. "Go home, Luca. Make love to your mate. Save this war for another day."

I'm so full of love today, I have no idea why people think I'm such a monster. Well, I do, but today I think is one of my better days.

After the wolves leave I walk back to Jeremiah. I want to make him orgasm again but I need him to be able to take.

"Lusa wolves! Did you hear everything I just said to the Tikanni wolves?!"

"Yes," they collectively say together.

"Good, when you turn around, same orders to you all. Now go home."

They all leave until it's just Jeremiah and I. His eyes go wide and I smile with fangs. "If you were a human, this would be more fun, but you smell horrid.

"So tell me sir, you talk of Kings, but that line has been dead for some time. I would know. I was there. So tell me, why speak of them now?"

"They aren't dead."

I arch a brow. "Indeed?"

"Yes."

I suspected but Alex didn't believe me. I take another long sip of my rabbit and eye him. He's not lying, he can't but I was there when we thought the last of the line gone. It's not that it's impossible, just quite improbable.

"How many?" He says nothing, he's fighting it. "How many!" I bark out.

"Four!"

"Four? Who?"

"A mated pair and children."

"Shite." I take a long sip, Alex will love this. He's going to shit himself. "Young children?"

"Babies."

"Boys? Girls?"

"Two boys."

More to carry the name. "Where are they?"

"I don't know."

I nod. They're smart. Before they were like this. Never giving their location to anyone, always hidden. God this is going to be a pain in my ass.

"Right then, I wasn't here. You won't remember my scent. This was over Eve like I said. You're furious at Emmett. He went back on a deal the two of you made.

"Do you have a bondmate now, tell me?"

"Yes."

"Ah," I say with a nod. "One day you'll have children, and I hope that the thing you wanted most tears you apart," I tell him. "When you hear my name again, I want your dick to also get a little hard, just enough that later you'll have to take care of yourself.

"And you're going to stop lynching the women and cutting them up. It's not their fault if you're swimmers are as worthless as you, now is it?" I sigh. "That was rhetorical. Anyhow, off you go. You'll forget this, but in this moment I want you to remember that I am watching you Jeremiah Black. I never forget a face. Never forget a name. And if you take a step that I don't like, well, death by a thousand orgasms is going to be the last thing you will have to worry about dear. Now off with you."

He turns and leaves me alone in the woods. I sigh and walk over to a boulder to finish my rabbit. It's a job well done today I think.

"Alex, soddy bastard are you there?"

He loves my pet names for him. "Dominic." Always so formal. I'm not that much younger but the years between us, he ensures that I feel. "How were the wolves?"

"Fighting like mad dogs, very long story I rather not get into. But I found what you wanted."

"What do you mean fighting like dogs?"

"It was about to be a war between three packs! Emmett's daughter is Luca's son's mate, but Emmett promised her to Jeremiah—it's so dramatically ridiculous."

"And I take it you handled that too?" He hates when I dally but what was I supposed to do?

"Well we don't have a regional war, now do we?"

"Did you find out what we needed?"

"He said Kings," I tell him. "Mated pair and two boys. Doesn't know where they are. He's not high enough up to know."

He's furious. I know because he's quiet. If there's one thing Alex hates more in this world, it's Kings, and if there's one family line that will bite you in the rear when you're not looking, it's them.

"Should we send the twins?"

"Probably," I answer. "I can start digging around, they will probably have more luck tracking."

"Do you think there's anything else out there?"

"No," I tell him. "I think my work here is done."
