Now without further ado, let’s dive into a fun-filled conversation with Jacob.
So what does your name mean to you and the world?
My pen name "Imcrazyyouknow" just came out of fun, could be boring and doesn't mean any interesting to it. But it was inspired by the song of Matchbox20 - "Unwell" as the lyrics go... "I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell...". But some pen names define the characteristics of the writer as well. To what they write or imagine to be. But for someone like me, it was just out of fun.
Moving forward, what social aspect according to you, do you think is still hindering the achievements of women or non-binary people?
The common hindrance to women's or non-binary people's achievements is stereotyping which has been going on for ages, but we're in the 21st century now, and there are a lot of things that these people can do. Modern problems come with a modern solution so in such a way to break these stereotypes, prove to them that whoever you are, you can make a change without pulling someone else down. Ignoring them and showing what you can do is how you move forward with elegance.
What's your story of empowerment?
I am freaking out about which stories there are cause I know they're not the best hahaha 😂
In writing a story with flawed characters is a way for me to introduce to my readers or to the world that even if you're not perfect--which we're not, totally, it's how you manifest your ways and outlook in time without listening to what other people say that might hurt you in the end. Your flaws are something that makes you unique. And in this way, writing these stories, I was able to extend my support and empower people who don't need to look perfect in the eyes of others, because who they are is already perfect. 🌟
Who's your biggest support/inspiration in life?
My biggest inspiration in life are my family, friends, and those people who supported me--even though I don't know them personally or we haven't met, they're part of my journey as well. Since I started writing, my family and close friends have been there for me and supported me in whatever decisions I made. Whenever I had a doubt about my decision, I turned to ask for their opinions and all. Also, in general in life, not just in writing, these people made me who I am today so I'm happy with that. 😊
Any celebrity/famous personality you look up to?
I really don't know how to answer this haha! this should be easy, but let's try haha!

One of Panic! At The Disco's songs called "High Hopes", actually helps me to dream big and not let myself down from all the bad things that happened, as I tried to cope with everything, every time I listen to their song, it makes me feel so gooood! Especially the lyrics "Didn't know how but I always had a feeling. I was gonna be that one in a million." I still listen to their songs and it's like remembering all the things you have done just to get where you are right now. That's what I feel. It's very empowering!
What is your writing journey like?
My writing journey is fun! I've been writing on Wattpad for 9 years. At first, writing was just fun for me, but as the years go by I feel like it's becoming a passion rather than just a hobby or fun. There have been a lot of good things when I started writing, although rejections and other things aren't avoidable, instead of making myself feel so down about it, I'm using it as an inspiration to do better and to strive for more. Writing is part of my daily life right now (on and off of Wattpad.) and I cannot wait to see where my passion for writing will bring me.
What's your writing Inspiration?
Just like what I've mentioned, my family, friends, and readers are my inspiration for writing stories. But everything can be an inspiration for me, even the little things can be turned into one. Anyone can be an inspiration for me, as long as it helps me and can work around it, it's cool for me.
Favorite work of your own?
I guess, Waking Up in Vegas, aside from the fact that it gives me an opportunity to be part of the Paid Story Program, this story also opens a new "universe" in my stories. The series is called World Trip Series where Waking Up in Vegas is the first installment. Now, I've finished 8 stories from the series and 3 spin-offs while there are 10 stories in line for the said series.

Favourite Colour and Why?
I like blue. I like red. But I'll pick blue as my favorite -- any shade of blue, I'll be fine with it. It's like it's just cool to the eyes and all. It's been my favorite color ever since.

Winter or Summer and why?
We only have Summer in the Philippines so I don't know what it feels like to experience Winter haha! As much as I hate Summer because of the heat, it's still a good season!
And finally, before wrapping things up, What does 'Girl Boss' mean to you?
Girl Boss is someone who can do what a man can do--or even much more. Someone who just doesn't lead, but makes herself a good role model for her team to do more and do better. They are more than what it just means. They're more than just a girl or a boss. They're more than that and what they are capable of and shouldn't be belittled.
