The Selection wasn't the only place for demigods.

The wind and sky had always called to Esmerelda Eduardo, but she was never free to fly. With the ability to morph herself into any animal or person, it was easy to say that Esmerelda had always been different. But sometimes, different can cause fear.

Esmerelda was born to a goddess mother, and a father that later turned to alcohol as a way to cope. Her father hated her, and her mother was absent. Suddenly, at six years old, her life turned into a struggle for survival. For years, she fought to be loved by her father, she fought to be noticed. Until she finally gave up on her goals and on her life.

When Esmerelda Eduardo was so close to death, all it took was one person to open up her eyes, and show her the wind that called her name.

The prequel is a full part of the series, and includes Willow's, Sam's, Daphne's, and Esmerelda's past.
