"Hang in there, Yoongs! We're going to make it!"
Taehyung grits out as Yoongi lingers on the verge of consciousness, his head bobbing lifelessly along with the bumpy road of the car.
Hyunwoo's loud wails fill the car and screams soon envelop them when the grounds erupts around them, numerous bombs raining down on them.
"Ah, shit!"
Taehyung yells over the deafening noise as Ellen holds onto Hyunwoo tight, and Eunbi squeezes her eyes shut, her arms wrapped around her stomach.
"Where are the fucking camps?! We should be there by now!"
He screams, trying desperately to swerve around the bombs that drop around them as dirt flies up onto the windshield of the car.
The screams of people who were running along the now almost empty road tortured their minds. Eunbi opens her eyes for a split second and sees a woman holding what seemed like a little girl in her arms, running desperately beside the car.
"Please! Take her!"
She screams, and the little girl wails loudly as the dusty woman bangs on the glass.
Eunbi sits up straight.
"Tae, we have to-"
"No! We have to keep going, Eunbi!"
Eunbi panics as the woman begins to fall behind slowly.
"No, please! Don't leave! Take my child, please!"
She screams and Eunbi's chest heaves when she suddenly rolls down her window.
"Eunbi, what are you doing?!"
Taehyung yells over the continuous bombs that rain down on them.
Eunbi pushes her body halfway out the window and the woman cries, holding her daughter out desperately. The dusty wind and dirt slammed her in the face continuously as the woman begins to trip.
"Goddamn it, Eunbi!"
Taehyung snarls, turning the steering wheel so the car moves closer to the struggling woman. Stretching her arms out, Eunbi's fingers barely graze the girl's clothing.
"Closer!"
Eunbi screams, as the girl desperately clings onto her mother, not wanting to let go. With a final cry, the woman lunges forward, throwing the little girl into Eunbi's arms.
Ellen grabs the girl's legs immediately, helping Eunbi in as the girl screams and shouts, flailing her arms about.
Eunbi's eyes well with tears when she turns around, staring through the rear glass as the woman falls to her knees, lifting her hand up to her lips and waving at the girl before a missile whizzes straight for her, and she disappears in a cloud of dirt.
Eunbi shuts the girl's eyes and brings her to her chest as she tries pushing against her.
"S-Shhh..."
Eunbi coos, stroking her matted hair as tears pour down Eunbi's face, mixing with those of the wailing girl before her.
Taehyung's face was set in a sullen, sorrowful look as he continues swerving every eruption of dirt around him, catching the slumped woman through his rear view mirror fading in the distance.
It hadn't been ten minutes of driving before a loud pang is heard, and all the blood drains from Taehyung's face.
"No, no, fuck, no!"
He swears as the car begins to wobble and come to a stop. The rain of terror had reduced, but there were still a few surprise ones that randomly fell to their designated areas.
"W-What's going on?"
Ellen whimpers, and Taehyung leans out the window, looking down at the car before hitting the steering wheel in frustration.
"We have a flat."
He grunts, before glancing over at Yoongi. He reaches forward, grabbing hold of his shoulders.
"Yoongi?"
There was no response.
"Y-Yoongi!"
Taehyung shouts, shaking his shoulders violently.
"No, he can't be-"
Taehyung mutters, as Eunbi's breath is caught in her throat when Taehyung's finger presses onto the side of his neck.
His eyes light up.
"He has a pulse, but it's weak! We need to get him t-"
Ellen gasps, sitting up straight and pointing into the distance beyond them.
"Oh my god, look!"
Everyone's heads turn to her direction and Taehyung squints his eyes.
"Are those-"
"Tents!"
Ellen screeched.
"It's the camp!"
Taehyung unbuckled his seatbelt immediately, before doing the same for Yoongi.
"We need to run, now!"
Hurrying out of the car, Eunbi carries the trembling girl while Ellen rushes to the back of the car, taking out two suitcases.
"We can't carry more than this!"
She yells, handing a suitcase to Eunbi and taking one in her hand, while Hyunwoo grasps onto her other free hand.
Taehyung grunts, hooking his arm under Yoongi's thighs and neck, kicking the door shut.
"Run, run!"
Taehyung screams as they begin to desperately run towards the camps that seemed so far away in the distance.
A sudden whizz fills the air and Ellen's eyes widen as she turns around.
"Eunbi, move!"
She screams, and Eunbi sprints out of the way as the ground beneath them shakes from the impact of the missile, a deafening thunderous boom ringing through them.
"Help! Help us!"
Taehyung screams as he runs, Yoongi dangerously stiff in his arms.
Eunbi and Ellen shout along with him, and Eunbi feels the energy slowly beginning to drain out of her. The girl perched on her hip was still wailing from the absence of her mother, and the heavy suitcase wasn't helping her at all. Not to mention, the growing life inside her was being put at risk with the heavy load on her.
She begins to fall behind.
"E-Ellen-"
She tries to call after her, but her voice is drowned out by the screams of help they were throwing out, hoping someone at the camps would hear them.
Ellen turns her head for a split second and her eyes widen when she sees Eunbi struggling to keep up.
"Oh god, we're almost there, Eunbi! Don't give up now!"
Ellen yells, slowing down as she hooks her arm around Eunbi, pulling her along. Hyunwoo sticks close beside her, gripping onto her shirt.
Taehyung stumbles, hurling to the ground.
"Fuck!"
He yells, luckily being held up by his arms that took the impact, he lifts Yoongi up and screams the loudest he ever had, his voice cracking at the end of his sentence.
"Please help us!"
And as if their prayers had been answered, a few seconds later they see a jeep heading towards them from the camp. Eunbi falls to her knees, unable to run anymore and the little girl cries louder.
The jeep pulls up beside them, and Taehyung holds out Yoongi immediately as the door opens.
"Take him! He's been stabbed, please!"
A man dressed in the uniform they had seen so many times stretches out, carrying Yoongi in and placing him in the back seat.
A couple of other men and women dressed in the same attire bring Ellen, Eunbi and Taehyung into the car and they collapse against the seats as the car starts moving back to the camps.
"Where are you lot coming from?"
The man stares at them through the mirror in the car as Hyunwoo and the little girl rest against their respective lady's chests.
"W-We're from the... outskirts of... S-Seoul."
Taehyung splutters as a medic examines Yoongi in the back.
"Do the children belong to you?"
Ellen nods.
"He's my son, Hyunwoo."
The man stares at them cautiously before his eyes dart to the trembling girl.
"What about her?"
"We managed to save her on the way. She isn't ours."
Eunbi pipes up, and the man continues to speak in the same tone of voice.
"How did that man get injured?"
Taehyung sighs in annoyance at the amount of questions being thrown at them as he snaps back.
"A group of rogues got to us, alright? Now, are you done with your interrogations?"
Ignoring him, the man scoffs, shaking his head.
"You're a peculiar lot. Anything else you need to tell me?"
Ellen and Eunbi exchange glances and she nods.
"Yes, I'm pregnant."

"Alright, now that everyone's ready, we'll get moving."
Jungkook announces. His hair was pushed to the side, allowing his forehead to peek through.
"Navigator. Stats, now."
He states, and a soldier steps up to him with a map.
"We're here, General." He points out on the map.
"It'll take us about half an hour to get out of the woods and into open land, but we need to be cautious. The North Koreans know we are here, and that we are coming. They might have something prepared for us when we emerge from the forest."
Jungkook hums, as the soldier bows, stepping back into line.
"We'll just have to be prepared. From what I've experienced, the tanks can be heard from quite far away, depriving us of the element of stealth or a sneak attack."
Jimin suddenly steps forward, and Jungkook's eyes snap up to his.
"General, I think it'd be best if we split into two groups."
Jungkook furrows his eyebrows.
"I don't think that's necessary, Soldie-"
"We have 20 tanks. If we split into two, we can approach them from the East and West sides with 10 tanks for each group. I think it's highly efficient, General."
Jungkook purses his lips into a thin line.
The last time I split up, things didn't go so well. I don't want it to happen again.
"Don't worry, Kook. We have tanks and the latest weaponry now. We can do this."
Namjoon says in a low voice, and Jungkook sighs.
"Fine. How many of us are here?"
"Around 800, General."
A soldier pipes up, and Jungkook nods. He points his hand down the center of the large troop standing before him and divides them.
"You 400, will approach from the East. So I suggest you take ten tanks and get moving."
Jungkook turns to the remaining 400, with Jimin standing right in front of them.
"And the rest of you will be with me. Decide who's going to be in the tanks, and the rest will walk beside it."
His gaze locks with Jimin for a moment, and Jimin sends him a knowing smile. Jungkook turns around, climbing up the ladder before his head snaps to the soldiers once more.
"Namjoon, Jessi, Jimin, and..."
He didn't know any of the soldiers names, and his hand points out to the ones in front.
"You, you, and you. In with me in this tank, now."
The three soldiers bow, following them up the ladder as the the other get into their respective tanks.
Once they were inside, Namjoon and Jimin move to the front immediately.
"I'll drive." Namjoon states, and Jimin pipes up quickly. "I'll shoot."
Jungkook nods, before turning to the three new faces in with them, extending his hand.
"General Jeon Jungkook. It's a pleasure to fight with you."
He states, and the first soldier shakes his hand. His hair was a light silver on the edge of white, pushing down his neck in a slight mullet and seemed an inch taller than Jungkook. His hair was shaved at the sides, and he had a slender cut face with slightly plump lips and raised cheekbones.
"Kim Jong-in, but you can call me Kai. It's an honor to be with you, General."
Jungkook nods, moving to the next soldier who stood with confidence, his dark brown hair neatly pushed to the side, and his full plump lips standing out against his perfectly chiseled face and thick neck.
He leans forward, taking Jungkook's hand in his.
"Kim Seokjin. It's an honour to be with you, General."
Jungkook smiles, moving to the last man who had jet black hair that was parted down the center. His light brown eyes somewhat resembled a cat-like feature - wide and alert. His lips pull up into a smile, showing off his sculpted cheekbones and pearly white teeth as he shakes Jungkook's hand.
"Choi Yeonjun. It's an honour to be with you, General."
Jungkook clears his throat, as the tanks roar to life, slowly beginning to move.
"Alright, now that we've acquainted ourselves, I hope we can stay alive together. I don't to be losing anyone on my watch. Am I understood?"
"Yes, Sir!"
They say in unison, as Jungkook runs a hand down his face.
This is going to be one hell of a fight.
