When she was given the opportunity to go to Paris she took it. She didn't think about it, she had the money and her parents arranged it. She knew it wasn't wise to jump without thinking, but she had to do it.

She knew things weren't always what they seemed, but she still made the jump.

Sometimes you have to make the jump to realize what you want is on the other side, and sometimes you can't jump back. That's where her state of mind was. She wanted to jump into a life of adventure, she wanted to see Paris. At one moment in time, she wanted to live there, now she realizes that everything she wanted was on the other side.

She walked up to that café the next morning and ordered two coffees.

She took a seat and placed her notebook down waiting to be called. They were a bit busier that day, but she didn't mind. She hoped that it meant there was more to write. But you could never assume.

"Cherisa." she got up and picked up her two cups of coffee. She walked back over to her table and sat down. Her steaming cups of coffee heating her face. If she wore her glasses they would be so fogged it'd be irritating, but she had contacts.

She set both of the cups down and opened up her notebook. She watched her surroundings but nothing stuck out to her. There was nothing to write about. She thought about writing something about the group of friends laughing, but she decided that didn't seem right.

It wasn't something she really cared enough about. She preferred to write about pure love. Something she felt would last longer. Maybe she was wrong, but she didn't really care. All of her friends left her, and deep down she knew, that if she ever fell in love he would leave her too, but she never experienced that so as far as she knew. Love lasted.

As far as she knew the love she wrote about lasted, she usually only saw them once. Some she wondered about, but she always convinced herself they lasted too.

She drank one of the cups of her coffee and waited. She held her pen in her hand and waited for something to write about.
