Trick or Treat Freak
Madison approached the Senior parking lot, but she couldn't see her sister. "Max isn't here yet?"
Billy throws his cigarette on the ground. "No, and she's late,"
Madison pointed at the schools, frustrated. "Give her a break. It's a new school and she could be lost. I got lost arriving at the high school this morning."
"Madison, you don't get it." Billy shot back, irritated
Her eyes narrowed as she lowered her voice "No, you don't get it."
The two teens leaned against the car when Max finally arrived with her skateboard. Billy watched her approach, very irritated. " You're late again."
"Yeah, had to catch up with homework," Max replied, trying to stay casual
"Jesus, I don't care. You're late again and you're skating home. Do you hear me?" Billy shot back,
Madison nudged her shoulder to his chest, suddenly becoming irritated as well. "Just because we are stuck together doesn't mean you get to talk to her like that."
He starts the car, the engine booming as the opening notes to Wango Tango blaring through the speakers, Billy feels a rush of rebellion surge inside of him.
"God, this place is such a shithole." He muttered, gripping the steering wheel
"It's not that bad," Max said, trying to sound optimistic
Billy glanced at the rearview mirror, catching a glimpse of Max. Opening the window, he held in his nostrils and took a deep breath. "You smell that, Max. That's actually shit. Cow shit"
Madison rolled her eyes as she closed the window. "Well, I don't see any cows." She shot back, trying to lighten up the mood
Billy watched as Madison moved a strand of hair out of her face. He closed the window, no longer feeling the outside air. "Clearly, you've never met the high school girls."
He looked away from the rear-view mirror before continuing his conversation with Max. Madison glared daggers at him, she was super close to losing her temper. "So, what, you like it here now?"
Max shook her head; she's also now feeling irritated. "No".
"Then why are you defending it?" Billy questioned
"I'm not " Max shot back
"Sure, sounds like it," Billy replied skeptically
Madison could feel her jaw clench, and a rush of blood flooded her cheeks, as she listened to the back-and-forth conversation. "Enough"
Billy scoffed in response, turning to glare at Madison, frustrated. Max felt the tension between them. "It's just that we're stuck here now so,"
"You're right. We're stuck here and whose fault is that?" He turned to the youngest Mayfield.
"Billy..." Madison began to speak quietly
"Yours," Max mumbled to herself,
"What did you say?"Billy asked
"Nothing," Max replied, trying to keep her voice steady
"Did you say it was my fault?" Billy snapped
"No" Max replied
"We all know whose fault it was. Say it," Billy's voice is low and intense.
Max didn't respond, she just hung her head low,
"Maxxxx, Say it," Billy said in a creepy taunting voice
The silence was eerie, and Billy's anger started to rise. He raised his voice very loud. "SAY IT!"
He turns back around, his hands hitting the steering wheel to the beat of Wango Tango. Max squints from the back seat, the car accelerates forward as the tires screech through the asphalt road. An unsettling rush of adrenaline shot through her." Billy slow down."
Madison noticed three boys dressed as Ghostbusters riding their bikes. She thought it was kind of cute. Her face turned into concern when she realized the shock on Max's face. "Hey, you heard her, slow down" Her voice is getting louder due to the loud music.
"These your new hick friends,"
Max suddenly felt scared, and she shouted at him. "NO, I DON'T KNOW THEM"
"I guess you won't care if I hit them then, I get bonus points if I get them in one go."
Madison felt her temper building, she now shouted at him. "Who cares if she knows them, those are kids"
Max felt her heart drop, the car accelerating forward as he stepped onto the gas pedal. "No Billy, stop, it's not funny."
Max's frustration rises as Billy continues to ignore their shouts, tapping his hand to the beat of the music with that smug smirk on his face. As the song goes on, Max feels a sudden urge of anxiety.
"BILLY. COME ON, STOP IT. IT'S NOT FUNNY STOP." She screamed, trying to warn him
He just wouldn't listen, so Madison suddenly grabbed the steering wheel making the car go the other way passing the Ghostbuster boys who fell off their bikes. As they sped on by, he couldn't help but laugh, the adrenaline pumping in his blood.
"YEAH, THAT WAS A CLOSE ONE HUH!" He yelled out, the sound almost drowned out by the music
She finally lost her temper, Madison yelled out "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?"
Billy laughed like a maniac as Max looked back at the boys.

Later that night, she is standing in front of her mirror applying mascara, humming the melody to Thriller by Michael Jackson. She is wearing a light blue blouse, and a grey skirt. Billy starts banging on her door again. He has a black jacket barely covering his chest and dark blue jeans. "Come on, let's go!"
Madison walked down the hallway, approaching her door. She took a deep breath, trying to shake off what happened earlier. Before leaving she wanted to say goodbye, hopefully, she forgot about what happened earlier. The anxiety is too much to handle. "Max" she knocked gently on the door
No response
Madison's heart sank at the sudden silence in the hallway. Did she run away again? She knocked again, a little louder this time. "Max" she called out.
Madison opened the door, her heart racing as she stepped into the room "Max"
She stood inside the closet, the dim light reflecting on her black shirt as she held out the fake knife, Max had been waiting for Madison to open the door and scare her. Like Madison is Laurie Strode and she's Michael Myers. As soon as the door swung open, Madison jumped, Max took off the mask, a playful grin spread on her face. "I got youuuuu."
Madison chuckled, relief washing over her. She shook her head, a smile formed on her face "Yeah, you did. Come on, let's go."
Billy dropped Max off on a sidewalk.
"Be safe and don't stay out for too long."
Max gave Madison a slight smile, it's nice that someone cares about her. "I won't,"
"See you later! "Madison called back, a bit excited.

Shout at the Devil started blaring from the house. Madison stood there awkwardly watching Billy chugging up the keg. She didn't understand why people thought it was so cool to drink, especially underage. Once he finished, he spit it in the air. Everyone started to cheer. "We got ourselves a new Keg King!"
Everyone started to chant his name over and over. Billy put a cigarette back in his mouth. "That's how you do it, Hawkins!"
Entering inside the house, it is packed, and people are either dancing or making out. Laughter echoed throughout the house. It's a wild party for sure, and Billy and two boys are in the spotlight. There is Steve and Nancy standing in the corner. He had a black shirt and sunglasses while she had a white blouse and her hair is straight. They are supposed to be Joel and Lana from Risky Business.
"We've got ourselves a new Keg King, Harrington" The boy dressed as Johnny Lawerence called out.
"Yeah, that's right. Eat it, Harrington!". Another boy dressed as Rocky joined in.
Madison stood there flustered and tried to shake off the embarrassment. She felt heat rise up on her cheeks as she watched Steve pull down his sunglasses and glare at Billy. The laughter of the two boys just echoed in her ears, and she couldn't help but feel frustrated.
Madison just shook her head, she turned her attention to Steve. "I'm sorry about him. Nice costume by the way" she said trying to force a smile on her face.
Steve looked at Madison, caught off guard. "Thanks, and you are?" He asked, curiously
Madison chuckled at Steve's question, feeling a bit more at ease. "It was either this or I put on a jean jacket and call myself a Greaser. I'm Cherry from the Outsiders" she said with a playful eye roll.
Madison turned around, scanning the room and looking for her friend. "Hey, where is Nancy?"
Madison followed Steve through the crowd, a bit excited yet nervous. Their focus is finding Nancy. They spot her by the drinks, with a cup of punch in her hand. Steve leans over the counter, takes his sunglasses goes to his mouth, and goes straight to his hand. Madison just watched, kind of amused. He looked cool.
She couldn't help but feel a little self-conscious about her last-minute costume. Curiosity got the best of her, and without thinking, she grabbed a cup and dipped it into the bowl. As soon as she got a sip, she spat it out immediately, the taste feeling extremely strong. "Ugh, what's in this drink?"
Steve tried to stop her from drinking. "Hey...Whoa, Whoa! Hey...Whoa, whoa, whoa, Take it easy. Take it easy. Nance, Nance, Nance"
Nancy put the cup down for a while. "We're just being stupid teenagers for the night, wasn't that the deal? She said, reflecting on his words.
She could see the worry in Steve's eyes. Nancy turned to Madison who already had a raised eyebrow.
"Maddie, you want one," Nancy asked, a slight smirk on her face
Madison shook her head; a slight smile was on her face. She glanced between Steve and Nancy. "No thank you,"
Nancy shrugged as she poured the drink again, a smile on her face "Ok, more for me then,"
"I think you had en-"
She is cut off by Nancy wiping her mouth and joining the dance floor.
"What is going on?" Madison asked a bit concerned
"Don't- Don't worry about it, ok. Just go have fun." Steve reassured
