The song of love was sang on a repeat till our throats ached but it didn't have an effect. Alpine moved to no stimuli.

She was laying on the bed, motionless..

I was too late to reach her. I was way too late to save her.

I was useless. I know I'm worthless.

What sister am I? I couldn't save the little angel of my life who made it a life all these years.

What am I without my two naughty devils?

Aries was broken.

"Trisha....",called out Aries
"Hmm....",I sighed...
"You remember this Trisha?",asked Aries, opening her necklace which was made by her and Al on my 15th birthday, 10 years of us being together...
"I do...",I said, opening my necklace.

It was a heart, broken in three equal parts. I had the blue stone piece with "Best" written on it and underneath Trisha. Aries had the pink stone piece with "Forever" written on it and underneath Aries.

But both pieces don't join even a little without the center triangular piece, the cyan one with "Friends" written on it which belonged to Alpine.

It was a true case of us. Without one of us, the diamond trio, the heart is incomplete and the most important piece herself was going to a place where we may not meet...

Just like the heart was broken in pieces for good, my heart, our hearts, all were broken in million pieces...

Everyone left me and Aries alone with Alpine. Jimin and Taehyung picked up Jungkook because he had blacked out with the high anxiety and pressure.

We sat on the floor for hours....
"Aries..."
"Hm...",she said with red eyes, swelled up face and tears...
"Let's see Alpine the last time.. we have to leave. We have to tell Dad...",I said with a heavy sigh.

She nodded and I pulled her up. We sat beside Alpine and held our piece of the heart tightly.

"Al.. don't forget us please...",I said
"Al... You remember that time when I cried because I was shifting to New Zealand for work and you two wouldn't be coming... I cried then. We cried then. You remember our conversation that day? You all shifted a week later and to where I was staying, to where I was working......",said Aries

"Al that day we didn't want to leave eachother, we don't even today but you are already leaving us....",cried Aries
"Al... Wherever you go, remember we still seek to see you. We still wait for you. We still love you. No matter where you are, what you are, how you are, our love for you will never end. We'll never compromise our love. You left us, the two insignificant pieces of the heart alone. The heart will never be the same without you......",I said clenching my piece even harder...
"Al... We shall leave our heart with you....",said Aries...
"Keep it here Aries. When we next come, maybe she won't even hear us..."

We put our two insignificant heart pieces on the table next to her and move out of the room.

The whole night had passed.

Jin didn't let go off me for a second and Aries was in Namjoon's hug the whole time.

Jungkook had been blacked out the whole night and didn't even wake in the morning. Jimin and Taehyung kept by him just like what we did..

It was 6:00 AM when the nurse woke us up...

"Madam... Your friend..."
"Huh? Friend? Alpine?"
"Yes ma'am..."
"What happened to her?"
"You might like to see yourself..."

I pulled Aries to the room and saw that the broken heart was joined by the last piece.

"The heart rate monitor...",gasped Aries

The monitor showed no signs of pulse and had a straight line.

"She left us.....",I said, broken into million pieces.
"I did not...",said Alpine
"Al?"
"Yeah....",said Alpine, slowly opening her eyes.
"You..."
"Is okay."
"Al?",said Aries
"Yeah..."

I and Aries ran to her and almost jumped on her, hugging her tight....

"You a bad girl!",said Aries
"I am sorry...",said Alpine
"Al... You should go to Jk. He's sick...",I said, remembering Jk's condition.
"Huh? What happened to him?"
"He passed out. He hasn't woken up yet...",did Aries
"What?"
"Yeah..."

Alpine got up ,holding me,from the bed. Walking slowly out of the room, we headed to Jungkook's room.

The doctor was standing in Jungkook's room.

Alpine wouldn't leave me and Aries because she was too weak to stand alone.

Jin and Namjoon stood outside the room. Both happy yet anxious.

"What happened to him Doctor?",asked Alpine.
"He's okay ma'am. Just like you, he was also poisoned. But thanks to God's sake, both of you are now out of danger but I'd suggest the two of you atleast 7 days rest..."
"They're grounded for 7 centuries now!",said Aries.

Alpine gave her signature laugh. Jungkook moved a little and that was enough of Alpine's heart.

"Jimin, let Alpine and Jungkook be together....",said Taehyung.
"Yeah...!"

We all left the room but Taehyung and Jimin stood just outside the door to keep a watch on the two victims.

"Y/n...",called Jin
"Hmm..."
"I still think if you all return, it will be better..."
"Our millitary chief dad never taught us to run away. We'd rather die."
"That's not the answer...."
"Wait.",I said as my phone buzzed.

I read the notification...

"6 messages from an unknown number...",I recited.
"Read it!",said Jin.

"Doctor, is it okay to ask a few questions to Alpine now?",asked Jin.
"Yes sir...",said Doctor.
"Thank you sir.....",said Jin.

We opened the door to see Alpine sitting just beside Jungkook, his head on her shoulder.

"Ahem...!",I fake coughed.
"Y-yeah...?",said Alpine.
"Lovey Dovies, we have a few questions for you two.."
"Okay..."

We both took a seat and Jin opened his notebook.

"Okay Alpine, let's ask you first.",said Jin
"Okay..."
"You remember anything unnatural that happened in the room?"
"Unnatural..... There wasn't anything as such but I remember that there was this sound of the main gate opening when Hoseok and Yoongi were asleep and that's when Jungkook went up to the terrace to check..."
"Did you see anyone?",asked Jin to Jungkook.
"No, nobody was there."
"What if Yoongi and Hoseok heard someone?",I suggested.
"Yoongi, come here..!",ordered Jin.

We waited for a few seconds until Yoongi opened the door.

"You called me?",asked Yoongi.
"Yes...",said Jin.
"What happened?"
"Did you guys hear or see anything that day?"
"Umm.. no.."

Hoseok entered the room looking slightly distressed to see Yoongi and us speaking.

"I must leave...",said Yoongi, getting out of the room.

"Yoongi....",called out Alpine but without listening to her, he went out.
"Why is Hyung suddenly acting strange?",asked Jungkook.
"Leave him. He has ADHD. He behaves like that sometimes....",said Jin.
"You know Trish, that day when I was coming downstairs to make my milk, I heard Yoongi speaking of some note and he was crying. Hoseok hugged him...."
"Hmm? Narrate everything...."

(Flashback)

"Jeon Jungkook, I'm saying this the last time. If you don't come down in 5 seconds, I'm feeding your banana milk to the tree...."
"Coming..."
"Disgusting...!"

"What's this?",I stopped infront of Yoongi's room to hear him cry.

"Is Yoongi crying?",I thought to myself and positioned my ear to listen to them.

"Hoseok-ah I can't take this anymore. I'm tired...!"
"Hyung, just tell everything to Jin Hyung..."
"I can't Hoseok-ah, I can't. His father has trapped my father for years. If I tell him anything about the truth I'm hiding, he'll kill my appa..."
"But Hyung, communication is the only way right?"
"I'm afraid..."
"Don't be. I'm with you."
"You all won't be able to stand against him. He's too dangerous...."
"Hyung stop acting like a child..."
"Isn't it best for me to die?"
"What good will that do? That bastard wants to kill his own sons to acquire their property. That bastard wants to kill Y/n to get her property. Hyung, I'm Jin's personal assistant. I know a part of his will...."
"What will happen?"
"According to will, if he dies, his property divides between You and Y/n. The other part is given for donations."

I heard from Jimim that Taehyung also has a will and his temporary nominee is Polo. It's written that after his death his property divides between his wife and kids and if he has none, all rights to Polo. Even if Taehyung dies, his property will be automatically given to Polo by law and if Polo dies without a will, the property goes for charity. There is no way that that bastard can acquire any of it. But in the mean time, maybe we'll lose them. Give them the note. That's the only thing that an get Jin Hyung to face that bastard...."
"What if that note is the reason to their death?"
"If that is the reason to their death, I shall die along with them...."

"After that?"
"I didn't budge about it and went back at my table to drink my poison..."
"Yoongi has been hiding something from me?",said Jin with utter disbelief.
"Yes and probably that's what you need....",said Alpine
"I'm with you Hyung...",said Jungkook, sitting up and holding Jin's hand.
"I'm also with you...",said Alpine.
"I'm also with you...",said Aries who had been listening to everything.
"I was always with you....",said Namjoon.
"He hurt my sentiments, I'm hurting him..."
"Yoongi has to speak out.",said Jin.
"I'll manage that...",said Hoseok.
"Hobi?",I exclaimed.
"Yes. Me. I will force him. I've had enough of him. I can't see you all suffer. Taehyung knows, I told him...",said Hoseok.
"I do and I'm with you...",said Taehyung.
"So am I!",said Polo...
"Great then.....",said Alpine...
"Yup!",I said, nodding with her.

Yoongi is a big clue to us. Yoongi is Jin's sentiment.
